  1. I don’t neccessarily disagree with any of the comments or reviews, if the file needs many improvements. Then it needs improvements.  I do however have an issue with how rude some of them are. Everybody starts somewhere, some better than others. But if we want to continue to have newer members try modding, and contribute to the future of LSPDFR.  Can we be a little bit less rude and more helpful??  Keep up the way we are going and no one is going to even bother trying.

    Also, there's a callout called "Severe Vehicle Crash" but I wouldn't accept it as it's still like 10% beta. But if you do, just press X to end the callout. If that doesn't work, go to the scene and arrest the suspect

    Whoops sorry, maybe i downloaded too quick, had gotten a couple notifications saying a new version was released and assumed it was the manual review. I’ll check it out again soon

  3. @SRS Bladez  It will still do the same thing.  See screenshot below on what I believe will need to be changed so that future version do not duplicate installation. 

     

    The V 1.1 needs to taken out of the .dll and the .pdb file  Leaving just Roadincident callouts.dll  and Roadincident Callouts.pdb.  That way when you release new updates and users drag the files into their GTA V folders it will ask if they want to copy the new files over the existing version of the callouts.  Hope this helps, and keep up the good work!

  4. Good work so far.   One thing I caught is the naming structure of the file.  The new version does not overwrite the existing install. I believe this is because you have the version number listed in the file name.   I caught it before running the game the first time, so I am not sure if running both versions would crash the game or what.   Otherwise just make sure you go in and delete v 1.0 if upgraded to 1.1

    Im mobile at moment, but make sure you have the skin named exactly the same so open iv overwrites the old skin, and check for a hi version of the file the skins are installed in some hi quality models needs the skin files in both to work right, and i cant remember anymore if this one is one of them.

    You have to go into the xml files in the emsmod  folder and edit the various  ambulance lines at each of the "stations" to use the livieries you want.

    Is the coronas in the wrong place a carvariation issue?  or sirensettings issue?   Do ELS models even use sirensettings at all?

     

    I'm trying like crazy to get this to work.  Fully upgraded steam version, brand new mods folder cause I felt like a total revamp with all the new ELS stuff.  no crashes everything BUT this Ambulance spawns perfectly.  I am literally baffled by this one. I replaced the files in X64E, I tried putting the files in Patchday13.  When I spawn it with simpletrainer, it says it spawns but the ambulance never appears.  If i dial 911 from the cell phone in game the paramedics never arrive LOL.  And if I try and request EMS via betterEMS it spawns a firetruck, and it tries for an ambo for awhile and then LSPDFR crashes.   Anybody have any ideas at all?  

     

    Solved!!   I attempted to setup this model the same as the Rambulance, using 10 different liverys so it would act like various departments were responding from the various stations in Better EMS.  That does not work on this model, I am guessing it made the file size too big and wouldn't spawn. I cut it back to 5 liverys and everything works great!!  Amazing Ambulance!!

    wait, what do we do with the .cwvg files? Never seen that extension in a GTA mod before, and see nothing in the readme?

     

    Also, Florida Highway Patrol had a fleet of these as unmarked cars back in 2003-2004.  Might be another cool version to consider creating in the future.

    Those three are basically add on cars so spawn them with simple trainer or similar by typing in the vehicle name you want to spawn.

    once redownloaded from steam, right click on both and click details and you (should) will see the version number.... this is why I think update checker is saying update, but we cant because Rockstar hasnt updated the game to the new version of the launcher... Everyone expects that come end of December with the import/export update:

    Nailed it!!   My Launcher is indeed already version 918 and the gtaV.exe is 1.0877. So I think this is where the confusion may be happening. The updater is saying gtav.exe needs an update to 1.0918 which now I am thinking may not exist.

    It seems to work great now, with the all red fire and ambulance options.  I only have one remaining question, and that is The wig-wag headlights option doesn't seem to work on Captain14's pack. I am assuming this is because he already has a custom carcols included as part of his mod. If this mod doesn't override his carcols, is there something I could edit or a possible optional future update that you could consider that would be compatible with captain14"s LSPD, Sheriff, and FBI packs so all my cars have the wig wag lights at least?

    So I think I partially fixed the issues, it remains installed as my initial post stated above. I went back thru the readme and went in and checked the mpvalentines  carvariations.meta.  I discovered that the ambulance was still on sirensettings '1'  so I changed that to '4" per info in your change log,  This has now fixed all the lighting positions on the ambulance, The only minor issue is the two LED's in the lightbar on the sides directly above each door are blue under the red dome. Would love to figure out how to fix that, but not the end of the world at the moment. 


    Secondly, Once I changed the sirensettings, I happened to notice that the entry for the firetruck was mis-spelled it was entered as 'firetuk' Once I corrected this to 'firetruk' to match the game model, the lightbar is now back to all red as it should be, but some of the led's do not work correctly, and also there are odd white boxes popping thru the lightbar, does the sirensettings number need to be changed for the firetruck also? It currently is set on '1' in the carvarations. 

     

    I definitely like what I am seeing, but any guidance to fix these very few issues would be very helpful.
