    Did you ever get around to writing that extension method? I'm still slightly new to this, and need to change the wanted status of peds in my callout.

    I did yes, I can dig it up if you'd like

    //Create persona for ped.
                pedBirth = new DateTime(1967, 8, 22);
                cited = Cite.Next(0, 6);
                stop = Stopped.Next(0, 10);
                pedPersona = new Persona(suspect, LSPD_First_Response.Gender.Random, pedBirth, cited, Persona.GetRandomFullName(), Persona.GetRandomFullName(), ELicenseState.Valid, stop, true, false, false);

    Thanks for your help and sorry for my ignorance, lol. But is something like this correct?

    Take a look at this: https://gist.github.com/drsn0w/4a8554ffe157513f4081389462ae73e0

    EDIT: Obviously go ahead and change the namespace since mine says RoutinePoliceWork :)

    Ahh! Look for this line

    <audioNameHash />

    Change that to this:

    <audioNameHash>POLICE</audioNameHash>

    Or you can change that to FBI, POLICE2, POLICE3, SHERIFF2, SHERIFF. Whichever suits your needs.  Remember, once you have saved the meta, throw it back into OpenIV.

    That'll do it. Appreciate the quick response!

    Only modelName, txdName, and gameName.  HandlingID needs to be a vanilla vehicle.

    I tried this, and looked at what you've got in your signature, but the car I've put in doesn't seem to have any vehicle audio. When I drive around there's no engine sound, nor is there any door opening/closing noise, etc. Siren works, though.

  4. Hey folks! Just a quick update. After I posted that status in November, a lot of s*** happened and I haven't been able to put much work at all into this. However, everything is resolved now, and I'm resuming work on this tonight!

    EDIT: I've made my New Year's resolution to actually put time and effort into my seemingly abandoned projects :D

  5. Hey guys! Sorry for my relative silence. I haven't gotten much more progress on this one, between school and a project for work, I've had a hell of a lot going on recently. I'm going to start working on this again soon, though, seeing as the semester is coming to a close. I'm actually planning to totally rework the loitering callout. I've been listening to a lot of LAPD chatter and I have a few ideas on how to make it much much better. Thank you for your continued support!

    Hello,

    I may or may not have been watching to much Hawaii Five-0 lately. So I decided to look for an HPD skin pack, sadly I couldn't find one. Therefore I came here to ask, Is there anyone out there who would be interested in making a Honolulu Police Department Inspired skin pack for GTAV for the community and I? Since carcols modding is now a thing, we can also have proper full blue light bar vehicles. which I think would look amazing with HPD skins one them.

    Anyway, thanks for your time,

    Cheers.

    Ive been thinking the same thing after starting Season 6... I need that pack in my life

    Callout idea: Secure Crime Scene

    As a patrol officer, you must secure crime scenes from time to time. These could be car crashes, homicides, robberies, etc.

    It is your task to make sure no civilian enters the crime scene. You must also question witnesses, take statements, and look for evidence.

    Great idea!

    Ok guys, I have a hell of a lot of school work this weekend and I'm gonna get a hell of a lot more this week, so we probably won't see any progress on this until next weekend, unfortunately. Thank you for your continued support and interest, and have a great weekend!

    Here's a few ideas for mostly routine stuff that I always hear our officers getting:

    1. Code 20/Check Welfare.

    Grandma hasn't answered the phone for a while (Possible DOA), people are loitering and neighbors are worried, etc.

    2. Burglary Alarm.

    Alarm system has gone off. Check the area for any obvious signs of entry or persons of interest (Although mostly everything is fine).

    3. Disabled vehicle.

    Vehicle broken down, either on the side of the road or in the road way.

    4. Security Check.

    Sorta like Check welfare/Burglary Alarm. Area or place has been broken into quite a bit. Dispatch requesting that a security check is performed. Check the area for persons of interest or any signs of burglary.

    5. Medical CODE.

    Most cops don't run medical calls, however dispatch will often send police units to a CODE (Cardiac Arrest). Get to the scene and perform CPR before medics arrive.

    There's  a few more I'll think of or keep an eye out, can't wait to see this mod! Sorry to hear about the Hard Drive.

    Great ideas, thank you for the input! I'm trying to not duplicate other popular packs as much as possible, but I like your idea for a security alarm check. I've heard some of those calls play out on my police scanner and I think I could possibly model the calls after some real-life situations I've heard.

    Hi, is the development still active or is it dead? It sounds really cool, I hope it will be released soon :)

    I probably should have posted this earlier, but unfortunately the hard drive on which I was storing the project died and I wasn't able to recover any data, so I've had to start over on the project :(

    Thank you for your interest and sorry for the delay

    Anyone interested in doing some alpha testing for me should give me a PM. I should have a super basic alpha version soon-ish, depending on my school work load

    make the lights you want to flash slower turn on for longer.

    For example my light setup is a standard

    1010 0000

    0000 1010

    but I have my wigwags flashing slower so I have them set as

    1111 0000

    0000 1111

    you can see it a bit here, look at the rear indicators and the headlights

    Hmm. On a lower BPM (220) I can still see the lights flash. I'll see about doubling my BPM and fiddling with the patterns

    EDIT: Done working on this for the night. Flashing lights give me a headache :)

    thanks you for replying, actually the only carcols.ymt that I found are here  hosted here https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/carcols-ymt-converted-into-xml-format

    by a guy who converted himself ymt to xml, but my game version is older than his so is there any other work around to edit original carcols.ymt please ?

    Thank you very much.

    Just pull your own carcols.ymt out of OpenIV and modify it. Worked for me...

    This is what I like, a person who wants to add realism to the game. All 6 of those sound cool, coming from a guy who wants to be a cop and rides with cops every so often. Let me know when this comes out because I would love to showcase it on my channel. Youtube.com/Gallonman20 Have a great day!! :)

    Thanks so much! I'll be sure to let you know, and I'll definitely need beta testers :wink:

    A youtube review shows it running the exact same wave colours as the blackwidow can do. We'll find out either way. Hold onto your old keyboard, you might be useful....

    Hehe, will do.

    You're right, I just made it do the fancy rainbow wave in Chroma Configurator... Can't set individual keys though. Razer pls

    Here's my source: https://www.reddit.com/r/razer/comments/3rji0g/question_about_deathstalker_chroma_lighting/cwp4wbm

    I suppose that you could still do some effects with the zones on the Deathstalker, like the siren indicator and such.

  14. 1 minute ago, LukeD said:

    It seems from the razer website that it should have per key backlighting. It has 3 zones, 1 for the qwerty section, 1 for the arrow keys page up/dwn etc and 1 for the number pad. But the rest seem to have per key backlighting for the full 16.9 million colours.

    Further research required :) But hey if you have the money to blow get a blackwidow anyway, mechanical is nicer than the chiclet caps. I upgraded from an ordinary deathstalker to the blackwidow chroma.

    Razer's website was misleading. I think it's software-gimped. Each key probably has its own individual light but as far as I know, the SDK can only light up the designated zones. I'm not sure if they changed that since I tried messing with it, though.

    It seems like a very Razer-ish ploy...make their chroma keyboards look so nice, and then people buy the cheaper option, realize it's not what they expected, and then go and buy the Blackwidow too! Ok ok enough conspiracy theories.

    Good luck in your quest for lighting, good sir.
