Greetings from the Staff at LCPDFR!  Today we’ve had the special opportunity to meet another great LCPDFR Community Member taking the charge at making LSPDFR and GTA-V the ultimate police simulator.  This specific individual has gifted us with an all-in-one modification that gives us the free range to create our own law enforcement personas as we patrol the streets and roads of San Andreas.  If you haven’t guessed it yet we are obviously speaking in part of Alex_Ashfold and his Emergency Uniform Pack!  So without further adieu our interview with Alex_Ashfold.

LSPDFR 0.3 - November Update

By Sam, in Articles,

Continuing with the idea of posting regular updates on our progress with 0.3 on Tuesdays, we're back with a look at what's to come in the next version of LSPD First Response.
In an interesting twist, we've invested some time in creating a development system which basically turns LSPDFR upside down, allowing the opportunity for us to put the player in the position of a criminal being chased by the police.
See this, and more, here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/57315-lspdfr-03-november-update/

While we've already added an amazing amount of cool new features to 0.3, an update to LSPDFR, or even LCPDFR, wouldn't truly be an update without some further refinement of the pursuit system.  It is, in many ways, one of the largest and most important parts of the modification and with 0.3, we've been taking the time to make a number of small but noticeable improvements.  From more cautious cops to more daring suspects, we think you'll really enjoy pursuits in 0.3.

Today on LCPDFR we have been given the opportunity to interview FinKone, the man behind the invaluable modification known as Police Radio.  Some of the highlights include how he became involved in developing modifications for the GTA series, and talk of other projects he's working on.

LSPDFR 0.3 - "Busted!"

By Sam, in Articles,

This is the fourth part of our LSPDFR 0.3 preview series.  For more information about the background behind 0.3, check out the third installment in this series here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/55644-lspdfr-03-downtown-police-station/
So, from the hundreds of thousands of videos on YouTube, the near half-million million downloads of the mod itself and the fact we keep on smashing records, like when we had 5,000 of you crazy folk online at once, we've got this really small, tiny suspicion - and I'm just going on a hunch here - but we think you guys quite like to arrest people?
If there's actually some truth to this wild guess, we're very happy to tell you that we've got quite the new feature set for when dispensing your own brand of justice is necessary.  Don't just take our word for it though, read on to take a look at some awesome new pictures showcasing just what our new systems, coming in LSPDFR 0.3, are capable of.

Hello there! I’m the new Content Editor for LCPDFR!  The staff in recent weeks have been busy completely reworking the download section of the website as well as announcing the development of LSPDFR 0.3, so the news feed has been pretty quiet.  I figured it’s time for some change, who knows maybe you can even find your name on the news feed!
