[RUMBLER/ NON RUMBLER] Whelen Alternate Tones
bjackson1991 reacted to Tref A. for a file
Well yes, although Whelen didn't make the "Rumbler" low-frequency intersection clearing device, the device itself can still hook onto different siren other than the ones manufactured by Federal Signal. The "Rumbler" system is formed by different pieces, like the external low-frequency siren amplifier and the "Rumbler" speaker. As the "Rumbler" is not a actual part of a specific siren, it is always possible to hook it to other siren with correct wiring. For more details, you should read some documentation from Federal Signal: https://www.fedsig.com/product/rumbler Real life example of the "Rumbler" hooked onto other manufacturer's siren:1 point -

[ELS/NON ELS] 2014 Ford Explorer LAPD

Nah models should never have a paywall, it's like Rockstar, EA Games, Bethesda with Skyrim, all their microtransaction bullshit. Putting paywalls behind content is not and should not be part of creating vehicle mods for gta v or any other game. I understand if game companies will do it, but modders? I know one thing, I will never ever become a patreon just to buy a vehicle that costs between 30 bucks to maybe even 100 bucks for a full pack. I understand the modders need money and support to keep modelling, also for their programs that need licenses to be reactivated so they can keep on going, that I am ok with. But not the "buy my mod by becoming a patreon"(comes from the wordage of patriotism). For some of us who like downloading free stuff like vehicle mods are happy with that, but if and when we see a rare vehicle mod we really want to get but in order to do so we have to spend real money just to buy it. I would much rather buy a real vehicle with real money. That's my 2 cents.1 point -

I see. Re-enable it so I can get a crash in the log. Then, attach your RagePluginHook log - a text document found in your main directory.1 point -

Fire/Rescue pack [Non-ELS]

Just a few Fire/Rescue vehicles I threw together for our server. We're a small group and don't use fire/rescue vehicles often, so I didn't spend as much time on these as my LEO vehicles, however, the pack should still be decent I believe. VEHICLES: FIRETRUK - Pierce Arrow XT FIRETRUK2 - HVY T815 AMBULANCE - Chevy Ambulance FIRE1 - Expedition FIRE2 - Explorer FIRE3 - BMW Motorcycle FIRE4 - Silverado FIRE5 - F450 360 environmental lighting, bobble antennas, trunk equipment, etc. Firetruck is intentionally spelled without the 'c' as that is how GTA has it. I don't think North America uses motorcycles for paramedics very much, but it is more common in European countries. *You may need to change the handling lines in the vehicle.meta files for a couple of the vehicles. We have a modified handling.meta that the vehicles are set up to, and that meta is not mine so I cant include it with these vehicles* Most vehicles can have multiple liveries. Currently, the Firetruk and Fire5 (F450) I believe are limited to just the 1 livery. Also, I did template the Silverado with the camper shell too, and I messed it up. So the original template is included in the download, and the camper shell seems to pull the colour from that template. I do plan to redo the template for it, I just don't have time yet. As long as you do not rip the models/pack or take credit for them, do not violate any terms and conditions of any websites, and do not try to sell the vehicles/packs, then I do not care what you do. You do not need my permission to link this pack, make skins, convert them to replacements/singleplayer, upload to other sites, use in your server or YouTube vids, etc.1 point -

Since the Readme provided in the download is a bit confusing let me explain how to install the taser sound. 1. Navigate to GTAV\mods\x64\audio\sfx\RESIDENT.rpf\. 2. Right click on weapons.awc and click on "Export to openFormats (.oac)". 3. Save to your desktop and do it again and save to desktop. 4. You should now have a "weapons" folder with all the sounds in it and a "weapons" folder with an .oac extension (hover over it to see the .oac extension). 5. Create a new folder on your desktop and drag both "weapons" files in this new folder. 6. Click on the "weapons" folder with all the sounds in it and replace the taser sounds by dragging and replacing the existing ones. 7. Now in the RESIDENT.rpf folder rightclick somewhere to the right of the files and click on "Import openFormats". 8. Navigate to the "weapons.oac" folder and click on that folder. Click "Ok" and now your files have been replaced. To check if your weapon sounds have indeed been replaced just double click on the weapons.awc folder and scroll to for example the "CHARGE" sound and click play.1 point
