    GitHub repository

The official GitHub repository is live at: https://github.com/LMSDev/LSPDFR-API You can use it as a resource for code helping you develop your plugins or give something back by contributing your own code. Everyone can participate and it's managed by the community! For now, it's just a collection of different pieces of code, but once it's growing we can make a nice library of it. Discuss it here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/forums/topic/53530-github-repo-talk-thread/ Important: The GitHub repo should be kept clean in both regards, code and issues. Especially for issues, the forum should serve as a DiscussionHub™ while confirmed issues should be added there. Issues should start with [BUG] in their name and labeled bug. As for API requests, I think it would be great if we used GitHub for those as well. So please add your requests to it. Also those you mentioned earlier... as I.. tend to forget things sometimes. Requests should start with [REQ] in their name and labeled enhancement. The label acknowledged should only be added by the LSPDFR team to show that we are aware of this issue/agree with the request.

    LCPD:FR Updates?

Guys, the OP is talking about LCPDFR and whether it's being worked on.. not problems relating to LSPDFR. OP: Right now, LCPDFR is finished. LMS and the rest of the Development Team (do we have a development team?) are fully focused on GTA V and LSPDFR. LCPDFR right now is as good as it will get in terms as stability and features. GTA IV was a horrible port with limited things. GTA V on the other hand has a wide array of possibility in terms of scripting and modding. LSPDFR is in it's beta stage and it's waay better and smoother than the final version of LCPDFR. so as of now, no more updates will be released. LMS may come back to it in the future to work on stability but i highly doubt it because he is more focused and enjoying V modding and LSPDFR. If you're debating on whether or not to get GTA V.. then you shouldn't be debating.. get it, because it's better than the PS4 version, apart from LSPDFR there are other pretty cool script mods available to download that you can have fun with.

  5. I have never actually seen a computer worse than mine on this forum so far, no wonder it's laggy, You have 2 cores, 4GB ram, a near unsupported GPU that's really, really old, all big no nos for games.

  6. We've released a small update to LSPD First Response 0.2, including a number of fixes to reported issues. Ever since the release of LSPDFR 0.2, we've been working to identify the most serious problems and glitches, and hope to have fixed all of these with this new update, LSPDFR 0.2a. Among the fixes and changes included in this update are the debut of non-lethal stun guns, easier arresting and better first person view compatibility. Also included are a couple of new LSPDFR API functions for developers, including the ability to play audio over the new police radio that we introduced in 0.2, and better access to pedestrian persona data. You can find LSPDFR 0.2a, along with a full list of changes, on the LSPDFR download page.

    GitHub repo talk thread

I thought it might be a nice idea to add a LSPDFR GitHub repo, where we (this explicitly includes you!), could maintain some general helper library specially for policing related modifications. This could cover things like the Vector3Extensions and other stuff like useful callout positions you guys mentioned somewhere. I would give a few of you admin as well, as I won't be able to manage it all the time. Pretty much depends on whether you think you would contribute there. Let me know. Just like LCPDFR, examples would also go there. What do you think?

  9. Seems pretty clear that these bans are related directly to simple affiliation with the project, not even development. Yeah, which is why I added the last part to my post after reading the update on the article.

    [REL] Code 3 Callouts

Can I just say this is the best callout mod made so far.

  14. No problem. As for spoilers you can either click the little eye icon in the toolbar when typing out your post, this will produce a black text area for you to type (and this will make a spoiler for you) Or the way I prefer to do it is type the following: [spoiler] My content here [/spoiler]

  16. I've put your log file in a spoiler for you, please do this in future. You are correct it is about animations Exception message: Method not found: 'Rage.AnimationTask Rage.TaskInvoker.PlayAnimation(Rage.AnimationDictionary, System.String, Single, Rage.AnimationFlags)'.The problem is that you are using the latest version of police radio (which uses RPH 0.22) and LSPDFR is built on 0.20. The return type of PlayAnimation is no longer a Rage.Task but a Rage.AnimationTask. Meaning the method is different between RPH 0.20 and RPH 0.22. As I've mentioned in a couple of threads now. RPH 0.22 will break any plugin that uses RPH to play animations. If you wish to use the latest Police Radio you'll need to update to RPH 0.22. However this MAY cause further issues with other mods again because of the animation method changing. Extra note: Once each of the mods that have been broken are re-compiled again RPH 0.22 they will no longer crash on RPH 0.22.

  17. We don't need a new thread being made every time RPH get's an update. There's a reason why they have their own website. I'm closing this as it wont serve any purpose, if you need RPH support as always please go to the RPH forums. If you feel this topic has been closed in error, please report this post.

  18. Generally I deal with legal matters -- if it isn't publically accessable, there's nothing we can do about it. That isn't an endorsement, just a matter of fact. Technically putting LCPDFR in your installer or packing it yourself is forbidden in accordance with our license terms.

    What would you do?

    1. If I were an American cop, I would have shot the guy. If I wasn't an American cop and didn't have a gun, I'd try to taze him. This decision would vary based on country, and based on experience as a cop. I have no experience of being a police officer, so I can't accurately describe what I'd do. Training and other things would determine my decision, but based on the way things are now for me, I'd shoot him. 2. Help my comrade. His health is much more important than a criminal. We can catch him another day. 3. Pull the guy from the car. Nothing else matters if he burns alive.

  24. I honestly think it's LSPDFR and GTA 5 'fighting' for control, if you will. LSPDFR is trying to get the ped to follow the player, while GTA 5 wants him to run away, because he has had a gun pointed at him. It's quite a good explanation to why they only run so far, because LSPDFR probably retakes control of him at that point, I could probably test this theory if @Sam or @LMS would add the ability to arrest peds without a gun equipped and by not having to aim at him. But, it could be that all of the plugins and other mods are overloading the game, meaning LSPDFR cannot recontrol the ped fast enough. To add to the top idea, I arrested a ped, worked fine, but, as soon as I pointed a gun at her, she ran off, again, for a few yards, also tried without many intensive scripts, further backing this up.

  29. Looks like that's what I'll be doing then. It'll probably be around 4-5 parts and it will start with a model off the web because there's already documentation for rippers to get the car out of another game. I'll post a link to the topic in here and tag whoever wants too be tagged once it's up :)

  30. I'd agree with Lundy on this one. Converting is quite a bit of work even if you know your way around zModeler (And if you don't it would be very hard). I had to teach myself how and that took some time. Although I'm thinking about making a video tutorial series about converting a car step by step and even making a template for it. Tell me if you're interested and I'd be more motivated to do so.

How to convert a model from NFS Hot Pursuit

If you haven't a clue on how to start. You may as well leave it to someone else. Converting is one big mess, it'd be best to find someone with a lot of experience in converting, and ask them.

  32. This isn't LCPDFR 1.1 for GTA V. Keep in mind, it tooks years for LCPDFR to become what it is today - LSPDFR has only been in development for a few months. It's "just" the barebones, the groundwork to build the rest of LSPDFR on as we've said many times before :)

    Searching PED's in 0.3

I think it's called 'Stop-and-Frisk', for dangerous objects/weapons. A must for every felony traffic stop.
