  2. Good thread, great cars. It is a pity that these cars are not made for a GTA 4. And again, once a week steadily goes another version of CVPI 1998-2011. I have nothing against this car, but it's already too much.

The Mind-Boggling Classic Cop Car Thread

Since we are a fairly good amount of people around here who seem to be particularly interested in classic cars, I open this thread so we can discuss, post pictures and stuff of vintage law enforcement and other emergency vehicles. Hopefully this will turn into something real interesting! I will get the ball rolling with these pictures I came across from 1976 of the arrest of some outlaw bikers by the Michigan State Patrol. Notice the rare pushbar the MSP Plymouth has in the photos above. The only time I've seen it, most of them look like this. Well, enjoy and feel free to contribute! Please don't link pictures to the policecarwebsite.

  4. You can't speak of classic police cars without mentioning movies and scenes, of course. Case in point, the 1968 NYPD Plymouth Fury in The Seven-Ups (1973). [see 4:56] As well as its later blue/white counterparts; ^ 1973 Fury v 1982-1989 Gran Fury

  5. I recall reading about this and I believe that Kate Upton was the actual model for this. The image below is from Google where somebody has put two images together one of Kate Upton the other the Bikini Girl.

  8. Oh dear. This is right up my alley. I was just thinking about doing this too. Here are some pics. Some are from the Original Gone In 60 Seconds movie (GO SEE IT). There's also the local Portland, OR PD cruiser, Beaverton, OR used to have a Merc by the looks of this old photo, and Seattle cruiser. Those will be first. Here are the Gone In 60 Seconds cars (Long Beach, LAPD, LASD, CHP). Cool thing about the movie, the police in the whole movie are real cops. They did use the HB Hallicky's personal cars that were turned into cops though. Also, I'd like to note that the Dodge Coronet, is one of my favorite cops from the movie. Something about that thing looks mad as hell.

  9. Hello LCPDFR forum :D So I started messing with the API, figured it had to be worth a shot, it's massively work in progress because I only started last night. I present to you... Callouts+ (or CalloutsPlus) is an API script which does as the name suggests, adds more callouts to lcpdfr. You read that correctly, another lcpdfr callouts script, but you also read that it will be using the API! The mod itself will contain a few variants of different well known LCPDFR callout features, such as stolen vehicles and pursuits, things which may not add a huge amount to the game but add some more variation and thus better roleplay. I also intend to add some new callouts and progress the mod into as much as it can be (given my level of programming skill of course). Special thanks to Tom H for the banner :) Current Features (please note these can change, for an official list of released callouts see the download page (link below)) Murder Callout Street Racing Callout Manhunt Callout Stolen Police Cruiser Callout Breakdown Callout Dynamic Road Traffic Collisions Officer Down Callout Tracker Theft Callout Some bonus content Ability to fix some vehicles Ability to try and revive a fallen pedestrian Call in a less reckless paramedic (who actually examines peds) Call in a removal cop who takes away an abandoned vehicle for you Call in a tow truck Place useful police barriers Run a vehicle check Some Screenshots Of Progress http://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2014/post-4600-0-98171900-1390480812.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2014/post-4600-0-02269100-1390480816.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2014/post-4600-0-11123700-1390480819.jpghttp://www.lcpdfr.com/uploads/monthly_01_2014/post-4600-0-23442100-1390480821.jpg Your Suggestions Post your ideas below and I will add them here, don't be disappointed if your idea doesn't get added to the game, chances are I will have spent hours attempting to make your idea work, but I may not have succeeded. • Bank Robbery/ Large scale situations • Bomb threats / Acts of terrorism • Escaped prisoners • Riots and protests • Be part of a roadblock • Domestic Disputes • Location Theft (people holding up a store at gunpoint etc) • Arson / Other Fire Events (if possible) • Foot Pursuit Callouts • Extra Dynamics of callouts - Not everyone is a criminal (Medical Aid, Missing Persons, Suspicious Activity etc) Download Link Known Bugs and Issues Last Updated: 27/03/2015 Please take your time to read these before reporting more bugs. 12. I started these today after seeing a photos of a Graphics company with the same design. Feel free to share your opinions on them please, should I release a skin pack? Should I make additions to textures themselves? I want to make these as great as possible so all thoughts will be considered! There are a few other designs I may or may not do after these. Edit - July 5th: Edited the CVPI skin so the part where the reverse lights are is black like on real Crown Vic's. Edited the Charger skin so the "liberty police" on the back isn't covered up by the Dodge Logo. Edited the Tahoe skin so it didn't have the massive K-9 on the door or back and replaced it with "Beware Police Dog" Every skin now has a new motto on it to add extra realism Added new photos to show progress.

  13. STATUS: ONLINE SOUNDCHECK OFFLINE HOST: RADIOMASTER ♔ penguin ♔ EVENT: "Everybody Talks" / "Fourth of July" WHAT IS A SOUNDCHECK SESSION? If the status of the radio is set to "SOUNDCHECK", this means that there is an active Radiomaster online in Teamspeak and is willing to perform. Music is playing, but that's just about it. During a soundcheck, the Radiomaster is observing how many people join the Teamspeak audience. After a short period of time, the Radiomaster will either begin a full show, continue with a generic playlist, or stop completely. This decision is based off of how many people join in a certain period of time. SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! HAVE SOME FUN! TEAMSPEAK 3 SERVER ADDRESS: ts.lcpdfr.com ANYBODY CAN JOIN! Fun, free, and friendly. Happy 4th July

I thought the "freedom" picture(s) were specifically against the US and the US Armed Forces? Anyways I really enjoy those "Freedom" pictures, they always give me a good laugh Okay my theory was correct, thought that I saw either an L-85 or an L-86 there. That and their desert uniforms were what really got my attention

  16. I'm pretty sure you could build a better computer for that amount of money

  17. It has no graphics card. It may run it in theory, but not well. Most folks would recommend building your own, and upping the budget by about $300 minimum.

  20. Few more shots from the USBP, from the 1970's and early 1980's. Agent with a stuck van near Sunland Park NM 1977. Agent at ck.point hwy 54 near Oro Grande NM 1977. Border Patrol check point near Oro Grande NM 1982. BP checkpoint hwy 62/180 near El Paso 1970's. sauce Border Patrol 1977 Plymouth (gotta love the Twinsonic!). There was a former Border Patrol 1976 Plymouth for auction in Ebay but unfortunately it was already over so the pictures and video were no longer avaliable.

    2 Games 1 Folder

Steam generally doesn't like mods, which is why you should always use LaunchGTAIV.exe. This launches the game without any Steam interference and thus loads the game the way it's supposed to.

  25. This is absolutely ridiculous- the ingame character of Lacey Jonas, promo artwork etc. all show what could be any number of Hollywood celebrities, whether real or made-up.The only real reason Lohan wants the money is so that she can have something to snort for the next year or so.

  26. He said it was a cry enb mixed with others I know its Cry ENB Mainly because of the shaders but as far as road textures possibly DKT70's but I could be wrong but his ENB is so good imo

  27. That looks more like Kate Upton than Lindsey Lohan at least to me.

  28. Bad assumption - litigation is very, very time-consuming. Also, apparently, the old news was that she *planned* to sue; the new news is that she filed a lawsuit. It'll probably end up with Lohan dropping the suit, or with a settlement - going to trial is extremely expensive for all involved, and is typically a last resort.

  29. Released =) I thought, what the hey, I believe in sharing; I already created it, why hold it back. Added just a couple minor URL's to the car, made the carbon fiber hood more realistic (carbon fiber was too "thick" in the beta version), and darkened the stripes on the white design. Oh, and I changed the lighting scheme to red. '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>> (Approved!)

  35. On LCPDFR.com you just sign out, and before you sign in again, tick the box "Sign me in anonymously". This will hide your online status for everyone, except the staff. It also removes the feature of "latest visitor" on other members profiles (you won't show up as a visitor).

All mods are unstable in MP, so yes, that was an assumption that didn't quite need a post :) Some small bug fixes may have improved the experience, though.

  39. Yes SCSDDeputy, act like a child because someone posted information about making a dispatch mod that might be better than yours. Honestly the only thing you've done is bring more attention to paco and his possible project. I for one cannot wait to see if this project takes off. P.S. I could care less about who you are or how long you've "been here" on the interwebs. Longevity does not excuse rudeness.

  40. I am not going to comment on the legitimacy of the opening poster's claims. That is what the discussion and people asking questions will lead to. Maybe the best course of action is not to post if you are not trying to further the discussion. Either we will find out it is full of shat or something WIP. Even if it is fake, two wrongs dont make a right. You pretty much insinuated, called the poster a liar in your very first reply. This only shows people what communities and forums they wouldnt want to be a part of.
