23/11/2012 2.0 BETA released! ?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent> 13/11/2012 New video: Pursuit of a wanted person: I have put together another short video of the new version, this time showing off one of the new incidents which is a wanted suspect who has been traced near by. I accepted this call whilst dealing with another incident as explained in the video which is why I had to drive for quite some time to catch up with them, most of which was removed from the video. Enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZIzD61UIsI 11/08/2012 BETA released!:- http://www.lcpdfr.co...olicing-script/ I present to you, a video (below) demonstrating a script I've been working on for a while now which will compliment policing in LCPD:FR. I call it the Policing Script (I'm great with names, I know). A list of current features follows: Roads Policing features Stop vehicles (other vehicles will not attempt to overtake) Wave single stopped vehicles on or allow all stopped vehicles to move Breathalyser with either a UK or US setting (if someone's over the limit, there's a chance they'll try to flee) Order a person to step out of their vehicle (there's a chance they'll refuse, try to drive off or try to run away) Order a person to return to their vehicle and resume their journey General Policing features Order a person to leave the area (there's a chance they'll refuse) Breathalyse on foot Resist Arrest If you turn this on there's a chance persons you attempt to effect an arrest on will resist (lash out at you) or flee (still needs work). Aiming at a person or trying to use the E arrest will trigger this. There's a few in-game voices and animations included in this too. Extra incidents If you turn this on random events will be produced for you to police, including: Persons suspected of having guns or knives (which can escalate into a shots fired/stabbing incident) Robbery and Armed Robbery Injured Persons (The longer you take to respond, the more likely they'll die if they've been seriously injured) Disturbances (fights, drunkards and so forth) Vehicles on fire Road Traffic Accidents involving one or multiple vehicles Stolen vehicles Suspicious persons and vehicles Assistance calls from other cops And many more! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zog9dDSpZoc2 points -

On August 5th 2009, the LCPD First Response mod was officially born when the first trailer video was published on GTAForums.com, featuring the very first version of what is now arguably one of the most popular GTA mods of all time. Now, LCPDFR is about much, much more than the police simulation mod that got the ball rolling almost exactly 3 years ago. Now, LCPDFR is undoubtedly the biggest GTA emergency related community in existence today. For me, LCPDFR is by far one of my greatest accomplishment in my eighteen years of life. You can interpret that, or look at it, in whatever way you want, but to have built something like this from absolutely nothing to the phenomenon that it is today is honestly such a great feeling and for this reason, I am simply amazingly proud of everything that the team and myself have accomplished. Sure, it's not quite as significant as founding Google or Facebook, but it's still pretty damn cool. To see for yourself what we have achieved in the past few years, here are some simple statistics. Our members have: Uploaded just under 1,000 files to the site, which are all available completely free to everyone without the need to sign up to anything at all. These files have been downloaded over half a million times. Made just under 80,000 posts across 16 forum sections. These posts have been viewed over a million times. Uploaded over 5,000 gallery images across 666 albums. These images have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times. Called in over 3,000,000 LCPD backup units during gameplay. This has resulted in over 1,800,000 arrests. The LCPD First Response mod has: Been downloaded over 400,000 times. This makes LCPDFR one the most downloaded GTA IV mods ever. Twice been featured in PC Gamer magazine. As far as we know, no other GTA IV modification has been featured twice like this. Been viewed over 470,000 times on GTAForums.com. This makes LCPDFR the all time most viewed topic in the GTAForums "Mod Showroom" for script mods. Inspired thousands of people to involve themselves with game modifications, computing science, policing and the emergency services. The LCPDFR.com website has: Since February 22, 2012, been visited by over 220,000 people from 157 different countries. Been visited by over 10 different law enforcement agencies, including the New York Police Department, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Across a number of website ranking services, been estimated to be worth between $5,000 to $15,000. Since February 22, 2012, served over 6 million pageviews.1 point

Hello, I'm new to LCPDFR and I have a couple questions that I've tried looking up and just can't seem to find the answer to. Maybe someone can help. 1. (2 part) Where do you get SNT? And is there a certain Key Guide that goes with it to tell me how to work it? 2. How do you open and close the ELS Info display that you customize your Light Sequences on? I can get it open, but I can never figure out how I got it open, and can't get it closed. Thank you1 point

Braveheart's Policing Script [23/11/2012: 2.0 BETA released!]
Russ1544 reacted to Braveheart for a topic
Thanks for the feedback guys. Does anyone have any suggestions? I've been constantly tweaking things and I think it's close to where I want it to be. I have a quick story to share which took place whilst testing the script; unfortunately I wasn't recording. Long story short a vehicle lost control coming down a hill and clipped the back of my car. I proceeded to stop the vehicle and conducted a breath test with the driver, who blew over the limit. I then asked him to step out and stand still, he initially complied. I went to apply handcuffs and he decided to resist and began fighting with me, I deployed my taser at which point one of his passengers exits the vehicle and pulls out a knife and begins threatening me with it in a bid to help his friend escape! After a quick swipe of his knife in my direction (missing me) they both took off on foot. That's just one example of how things can get (realistically) ugly fairly quickly using the script.1 point -
nice one mate. unfortunetly i don't belive that stops people from creating hundreds of threads with the same question. (Those kids today are soo lazy :D ) i think that deserves to be pinned.. then again.. hell even that won't stop people from creating hundreds of threads about questions that can be answerd in that video :D1 point

The closest i ever got was when (many years ago) one of my family members car had an alarm malfunction and it kept going off in the garage and it was very annoying. We called our towns city hall (also where the PD and FD are HQed) and asked if anybody they had knew how to fix it. They said they would send somebody. Turns out they sent a squad car and an engine code 3 for no reason at all. My guess is that they thought we meant car fire. The encounter was when the cops and firemen started talking to us. One FF obviously knew something about car mechanics so he worked on it for a while. He eventually got it fixed. That's my closest encounter, besides seeing them on the beat.1 point

What graphics was stole if i may ask? as the forum skin comes from IPBForumSkins. Yea, but we the name "FR Modifications" did come in a bit of admiration and other mods we worked on like the EMS mod, because first responders is of course not only police personnel. It seemed way better, and like the SA community we would like to use the LCPDFR mod, but most of us cant due to crappy pc's, so why not make a SAPDFR modification. Also as for the crashes, is because of a incompatible mod, best if you have a clean gta sa (no mods etc) then install the sapdfr, once done install other modifications one by one, if your still crashing you should probably wait for the update seems stable to me.-1 points
