Playing LSPDFR while not disabling the story elements??

People hello, I am an hardcore RPG player that is incredibly interested in role-playing of ANY kind. Since I got myself a high-end pc that is capable of running Gta V, i was wondering if there is any way to edit LSPDFR to work with story mode elements intact? For example, i don't need to switch to my custom character and play with Frank/Mich/Trev while I can call my friends on the phone and mission blips intact. Reason I am asking this (maybe)weird question is that I want to create my own singleplayer RPG playthrough with saving and sleeping available. Not so experienced with LSPDFR forums btw so if I'm writing this on wrong category please forgive me. Thank you.

You can pick Michael or Trevor in character selection, under Preset Characters. Michael has an LSPD and SAHP uniform and Trevor just has an SAHP one.

Well, yes I know thank you but I am not referring to that solely, I'm asking that is it possible to keep the story elements such as sleeping, cellphone, strangers..etc?

None of that should really go away as far as I know. There may be some things disabled by LSPDFR but mostly all of that is based solely off of which player model you are playing as, so they get disabled when you switch to a different model (such as a cop or multiplayer ped).

Hmm, any interaction you have with cops in the GTA 5 story will most likely be broken/crash when on duty in LSPDFR. Perhaps other small things could work like your cellphone and such, but thats up to you to test out, don't know many/if any, people that do this

I am profoundly delighted with your quick answers, thank you so much. I tried many of the story elements they are working like a charm. But actually I may want to ask one tiny question: can I play as Franklin? (was busy with stupid University, really sorry for the so long delay of reply)

One issue I noticed was in 3.0 the last Character I used was Michael and I did a quick save in front of the Police Station to make it convenient when I load LSPDFR. I used to use Trevor as the last character but when I would drive by the Lost garage, across the street from the Taxi Company, the Lost would start shooting at me.  Even though I was On Duty, in my patrol car, in Uniform (through EUP), Custom character (also through EUP) the Lost would shot because the game last saw the character as Trevor.  And there are about 10 of the Lost so I get lit up real quick.  Anyway I did notice when 4.0 got installed when i would go off duty it would revert back to my last Character which was Michael and he had no weapons.  So all the weapons and ammo i collected was taken. I started GTAV without going through Rage and still left Michael with no weapons.  So I had to go through Simple Trainer and just pick and choose what weapons to get and save those weapons in the save slot of Trainer.  So it stinks to have to do that.  So when I go off duty and the character leaves the station as your last GTA character, all your weapons are gone.
