RPH crashing on startup

When starting RPH, it loads and says "enjoy" and then crashes and brings me to the social club screen to either retry or start the game in safe mode. The game works when launched through steam and worked 2 days ago. I uninstalled the game from steam and deleted all the files and then reinstalled it earlier today and haven't been able to get it to work since. Attached is my RPH log.

I see this is happening to a lot of people. Was there recently an update that caused problems or did i just do something wrong the second time installing everything?

It's happening to me too. I can't even get my GTA V copy (with no mods) to work so I probably have something different but still experiencing problems out of nowhere.

GTA works for me when I launch it from steam but opening it through Rageplugin just crashes as soon as the sirens in the loading screen start.

I have fixed the problem, you have to go into rage settings then command line switches and check windowed mode and works fine...

I've always run it on windowed mode since I had problems with f4 pausing the game and not opening up the console, still doesn't work.

Hey guys, thought I would weigh in as well.   Since last rph and / or gta update I am having the same issue where rage will not hook, I end up in the gta 5 loading screen and eventually into game with no rage.  I always start “forced windowed mode” and have had no issue until recent.   My only “work around”  as of late is to launch rage and enter rage settings prior to game launch  then just choose  save and launch.    I had more luck getting rage to hook that way but even that has become sporadic.   I will be following this with you guys

It's dinput causing the problem for me. I think its script hook, not RPH. When I take out dinput the game loads. I guess we'll have to wait for an update.

well I feel like an idiot, I thought I saved the force windowed mode setting, for some reason It did not save initially..   so my fix was making sure "force windowed mode" it checked and SAVED in RPH           I know this is obvious but I just figured it saved    shame on me for not double checking

Same. I have always had it on forced window. The game loads if I take out my mods folder so I’m thinking that is the problem. I have no idea where to start though.

I have the same issue.  It is bad what I'm gonna say, but I think the best is waiting for next update of GTA V or RPH.  Nobody knows what it can be.

this problem may happen if there is no SHV (ScriptHookV) in your Main-folder. Make sure you have SHV (From the original page).
I know that RPH (RAGEPluginHook) comes with SHV, but you should download it on the original page again, as it had helped my friend, who had the same problem.
Maybe that wasn't the problem for that. However, a try does not hurt. ^^

I'll give it another attempt and let you know what happens but when I originally made this post I had script hook installed. Saw some other people complaining of the same issue and thought it could possibly be because of script hook, reinstalled everything except script hook and it still didn't work.

 

Edit: Just installed scripthook, still crashes as soon as the screen loads and the glass breaks before the sirens in the loading screen.

Not yet  i'm not sure if its our problem or a problem with rage and/or scripthook at this point.

I tried to reinstall RPH.  Nothing.  LSPDFR, nothing.  A reconnexion on Social Club RStar, nothing.  Seriously, I'm short of idea. xd
