Replacing police cars issue

So I have been having an issue with replacing cars in Open IV im not 100% sure where they go and when i attempt to replace them every game crashes which forces me to either install again and again or backup my game i need help figuring out where they go correctly so i can actually play lspdfr with different cars....  Thank you in advance

The very newest patchday, patchday18.

i go all the way into patchday 18 and all it has is a vehicle model called tornado

ive been using patchday 3 and still no after that the cars are the same as origional

You don't need to replace the original files. Go to the latest patchday folder and drop the vehicles files in there. Load the game and spawn the car.
