The latest updated version of RAGE Plugin Hook, required to play LSPDFR, can be found inside the LSPDFR download. It is not currently available on the RAGE Plugin Hook website.

Game freezes when going on duty.

Hey guys!

I hope you can help me with a problem. I downloaded lspdfr and rph, everything was working. I downloaded a couple of plugins and now every time I go on duty the screen freezes. The map still moves when a call comes in, I can press escape and use the menu but that's about it. I tried using the troubleshooter, but it can't find any problems.

Anyone know what I can do?

Screens of main folder and installed plugins:

EDIT:

I use the latest version of GTAV, I installed it last night after haven't played for months.

Since you updated to the new version of GTA5, one or more of the plugins you have are more than likely out of date and incompatible with the current version of the game. That is probably causing the crashing. Try to update all of your plugins.

I've downloaded GTAV last night and downloaded all the plugins about 3 hours ago, so I don't think it's a matter of updating.

I'll go through all of the plugins to see if they're updated yet. Maybe I need to delete some of them and that may fix the problem, but I don't know. Not much of a modder myself.

Ok, so if you downloaded them last night then that isn't the issue. Try uninstalling all of your plugs in then see if it works then.

I tried to play it with only rph and lspdfr installed and that worked. Then I installed some of the top downloads from the page, thinking they would be updated, but I guess that's not the case.

I'm currently looking at all the plugins I've got installed and looking at the download page to see if they're up to date.

Current GTA version is 1.40, isn't it?

I believe so, and I'll tell you what I do when I have an issue like this. Install every plug in one at a time. And every time you install 1 plug in launch the game, repeat this until the game crashes. That way you know what plug in is causing the crash. If I am still unclear I will explain. Lets say I have 4 plug ins (plug in 1, plug in 2, plug in 3, and plug in 4) I install plug in 1 first and launch the game, I get into the game and the game works. Then I install plug in 2 and launch the game, once again the game works just fine. Then I install plug in 3 and launch the game, but then the game crashes. I now know that plug in 3 was causing the crash because it worked prior to installing plug in 3. Then you know what plug in to avoid.

Makes sense, kinda stupid I didn't do that in the first place. Could have saved me a lot of time.

I'm reïnstalling GTA5 so I have a fresh dir to work in. And this time I hope I won't make a mistake and mess it all up.

Thanks for your help!

Yup if you have further questions feel free to ask me. I highly recommend you try my method with your clean dir.

Go to the Plugins page and see which Plugins have been updated. Anything that has not been updated since June 9th probably aren't compatible.
