Getting an error: ERR_FIL_PACK_1 , While using LSPDFR mod and mega cars pack mod at the same time

Hi dear community,

 

when I install the LSPDFR mod , and a mega cars pack mod with 620 cars (replace+ add-ons) at the same time, the game crashes and I get the following error: [ERR_FIL_PACK_1] – Game error. Please reboot and restart the game.

I am using this gameconfig file :

And I have noticed that if the LSPDFR mod is installed alone,it works without problem;the same is for the mega cars pack mod,if it is installed when the LSPDFR mod is not installed the game works!

Please help me to resolve this issue,so I could use the both mods at the same time!Thanks to all in advance!Best regards!

Are you using a mods folder?

Since you are using the correct gameconfig (the one you linked), and you're using a mods folder, I can assume the issue is that you installed all the add-on cars into one DLC.  Vehicles.rpf, vehicles.meta, and carvariations.meta all have a certain amount of vehicles/lines they can have.  I learned this the hard way, and began spreading out my standalone cars throughout DLC packs. (at least the ones that will let you)

 

For the time being, I advise you either

 

A) Remove some of the add-on cars from wherever they were installed, which includes removing their metas and carvars.  Try starting the game again.  If you don't get the error, start utilizing other DLCs such as mpchristmas2 for addons.

 

or

 

B) If you have a backup of your game, may want to use that and start installing the cars manually.  It's a lot of work, but manual install of cars is the best way to make sure some auto installer doesn't mess with shit.
