How to get GTA V modded folder running ?

I am on windows 10, dont know if that makes a diff, shouldnt...

So anywho, I did a fresh install of GTA V and made a fresh copy of it on the same drive yesterday night for the hell of it, reinstalled a few legendary mods, enhanced trainer, LSPDFR, and now I cannot for the life of me get GTA V to launch, here is some instances below..

 

1. clicking on "Modded GTA V Launcher 2.2" RageHook loads first but failing to launch GTA V and crashing "the modded launcher"

2. clicking on "GTA5.exe" (Please run play GTA using blah blah)

3. clicking on GTAVLauncher.exe (Launcher error. Code: 115 The game wasnt launched via the Steam Client).

However, If I run GTA V via Steam of course it works but loads vanilla only which I do not want, I want Steam to load the MODDED GTA V folder (Single player)

Your modded folder needs to be called Grand Theft Auto V, Steam/RPH won't intiliaze if it's called anything else.

 

So you need to keep switching around your GTA folder names for example if you're using two folders (one for vanilla and one for modded) you'll have to rename the vanilla folder to something like Grand Theft Auto V Vanilla and the modded folder Grand Theft Auto V in order to use the modded directory.

 

Same for if you want to use the vanilla. Just rename the modded folder to Grand Theft Auto V Modded and the vanilla to Grand Theft Auto V.

 

Keep in mind if you're running RagePluginHook, You need to create a shortcut of the RagePluginHook to your desktop and use that to launch your game as running it through Steam will just launch the game and not RPH
