Welcome to the second Australian LSPDFR Discussion thread, I'm too lazy to write anything about it so I'm going to copy and paste what PgUp wrote on the first one:

This thread is a general discussion thread for Australian LSPDFR players and LSPDFR Australia fans
I think this post will be ever-evolving and an ever-useful hub for us Aussie gamers looking to make our game feel right at home. Basically all this thread is,
a place for content creators to come together into one topic and post about their projects related to Australian themed LSPDFR gaming, and for users to actively chat on-topic about said modification projects, make suggestions, admire, etc..
Use the rest of this thread to discuss, suggest, or update on anything.

Cheers.

Unfortunately, in-case you're new to this thread, you'll notice that this is the second Australian Discussion Thread. This is because the original, very successful thread was shut down due to the large amounts of bickering, spamming and general all-round nonsense that we were warned about many times. While I'm sure there are some of you who disagreed with the way this was handled by the admins, it's just the way life is and everybody has to get used to it. Thankfully, after much discussion with several admins, we have been given the opportunity to have another thread where we can discuss, share and show of various things relating to Australian Modding.

We have to keep this civil however. We still follow the same rules as the rest of lcpdfr.com. If anybody has a problem with somebody, please please please keep this to private messages or some other messaging service. If you feel like mucking around or something, use something like the LSPDFR Australia discord or the Darkmyre Gaming discord, which are both very fun and friendly places to be.

For easy access here is the lcpdfr.com guidelines if you would like you brush up on your reading

  • Keep the site tidy - use spoilers for logs, attach images only when needed, don't deviate from the standard font unless necessary
  • Don't bump your threads or reply to threads older than 30 days (unless they're pinned)

  • All content is subject to moderation when necessary.  Content can potentially be removed at any time for any reason.
  • Do not send members PMs asking for support. We have the forums for a reason.

Full terms:

Abuse
We all want to have a good time here across the entire G17 Media Network. Any member found to be intentionally preventing other members from enjoying themselves, be that by abusing, teasing, demeaning, 'flaming' or 'trolling' them, will be subject to serious consequences.

General Etiquette
We expect members to follow and show regard for general etiquette. Forums and all types of discussions should be kept clean, tidy and readable. Posting messages or other forms of communication which are unstructured, messy or otherwise hard to read or understand should be avoided. The basic premise of all G17 Media communities and services is that members can interact freely with each other in a welcoming environment. For a more in-depth description of forum etiquette and some examples of bad practice, see http://forum-service...uette-tips.html

Discrimination
The G17 Media Network was set up as a place for enthusiastic supporters and members to interact with each other and with the projects and services offered or otherwise managed or maintained by G17 Media, irrespective of who they are or what they believe in. We strongly believe in creating a welcoming environment across all of our services and projects and will not tolerate any forms of discrimination including but not limited to those based around skin colour, ethnic background, sexual orientation or preferences, age and gender. Any members found to be in violation of this policy will face serious consequences, including network-wide banishment if necessary.

Spamming & Advertising
We expect all posts, messages and other forms of communications to be relevant to the particular G17 Media project or service that they originate from. Content which we deem to be irrelevant or otherwise undesirable to the discussion or project in question will be removed, with warnings or other disciplinary measures being issued following for repeat violations of this policy.

As part of our commitment to encouraging a welcoming and lively environment throughout all of our services, we forbid most forms of advertising. We do, however, exempt the following pages and circumstances from this policy:

  • Member profile pages.
  • Member post signatures.
  • Links to related resources or files which are relevant, and provide a valuable addition, to the subject matter at hand.
  • Any page or other communications channel where exemptions are given.

Plagiarism & Copyright
Most G17 Media services and projects depend on, and are shaped around, communities of like-minded people who share all forms of media. For legal reasons, we require that you do not upload any material that is copyrighted, or contains copyrights not owned by you. We ask that at all times the dedication, skill and work of everyone who shares content across our communities is respected and appreciated through proper acknowledgements and credits.

Profanity, Nudity, Gore & Pornography
Our projects and communities are for the most part shaped around adult video games featuring violence, sex, nudity and profanity. Although these games are intended for a mature and adult audience, we cater to a highly diverse group of people from all ages, races, religious backgrounds and genders. To keep things in balance and maintain a healthy and welcoming atmosphere, we ask that swearing and profanity is kept to a minimum and that strictly no full nudity, gore or pornography is shared on any area of the G17 Media Network, including private messages and comments.

Account Policy
We run and manage communities of tens of thousands of people. In order to maintain services like this effectively, it is essential that our members only operate and use one account on each of the services and communities we offer. Any attempts to manipulate any aspect of the G17 Media Network through the usage of multiple accounts is strictly prohibited, and will result in all 'multiple' accounts being permanently deleted, irrespective of any other penalties.

Additionally, we require that all information on member profiles and accounts is valid and accurate, such as valid e-mail addresses, ages, genders and locations. We will suspend and/or delete members that we find to be supplying incorrect information - you do not have to disclose your age, gender e-mail address or location, so there's no reason to lie about them.

Obstruction, Circumvention & Interference
We have these set of guidelines for a reason which is simply to make our site the best it possibly can be. We want to encourage people to share their content, discuss topics important to them and interact with the large community that our site thrives on. We don't however, want to allow people opportunities to use other people to their advantage, post offensive material or create a hostile or unproductive atmosphere in general. In order for us to do this, we rely on our members taking it upon themselves to follow these guidelines and obviously in cases where they don't, we have to do something about it. We simply won't tolerate it if our staff are obstructed from carrying out their duties or if any other malicious attempts are made to interfere with the operations of the community and network in general. Anyone found to be obstructing or interfering with the operation of the community or circumventing any sanctions, restrictions or limits will be subject to serious consequences, including the possibility of permanent banishment.

Content Filtration
We maintain a list of sites (or "links") which are deemed to infringe copyrights or trademarks, encourage malicious activity, be a problem for our users, or violate United Kingdom or international law. As such, linking to, or sharing in any form, these sites or entities is forbidden and will result in an error message from our servers. Attempts to evade this policy are strictly prohibited - we only add to this list in extreme cases, and always for good reason.

User Submitted Content
In addition to our other policies on content hosted or shared on the G17 Media Network, we also forbid the following from being uploaded to or shared on our network:

  • Files and tools which we deem to be malicious in nature, such as spyware, adware, viruses and other inappropriate content.
  • Game modifications or other files which interfere with or otherwise adversely affect the game or the playing experience for yourself or others.
  • Any other content which we deem poses a threat or risk to our services, members or communities.

CPR
When using the G17 Media Network, please ensure that you are courteous, professional and respectful - doing so will ensure that you are viewed favourably by our staff teams and other G17 Media members.

  • Courtesy
  • Professionalism
  • Respect

Note: In exceptional circumstances, rules and regulations asides from these may have to be applied. Members will receive no notification of them, but they shall be posted following their initial use to ensure consistency of network management.

Legal Agreement

Thanks for your interest in our community (the "Services")!
By using our Services, you agree to these terms (the "Legal Agreement") and the LCPDFR.com Community Guidelines (collectively, the "Agreement"). If ever in conflict, to the extent of such conflict, the Legal Agreement will take precedence over any other terms of the Agreement. Please read the Agreement carefully.
As used in the Agreement, "you" or "user" means the individual or entity using the Services (and/or any individual, entity or successor entity, agency or network acting on your behalf), "we" or "us" or "LCPDFR.com" means G17 Media, and the "parties" means you and G17 Media.

LCPDFR.com may, from time to time, change these terms. Such revisions will be effective immediately and you may recieve no notice of them.

You shall not have any right to terminate the permissions granted herein, nor to seek, obtain, or enforce any injunctive or other equitable relief against LCPDFR.com, its developers or community team staff, all of which such rights are hereby expressly and irrevocably waived by you in favour of LCPDFR.com.

You cannot hold LCPDFR.com responsible for any claim or demand in law which you ever had, or may have. You agree to indemnify them for all claims related to your content, your account or any user generated content, including for any person using your username and password.
LCPDFR.com also reserves the right to disclose personal information if we reasonably believe that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to (a) satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, (b) enforce applicable terms of use, including investigation of potential violations thereof, c) detect, prevent, or otherwise address illegal or suspected illegal activities, security or technical issues, or (d) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of LCPDFR.com, its users or the public as required or permitted by law. In connection with any reorganization, restructuring, merger or sale, or other transferring of assets we reserve the right to transfer information, including personal information, provided that the receiving party agrees to respect your personal information in a manner that is consistent with our privacy policy.

LCPDFR.com may terminate your account or remove content at any time for any reason or no reason.

All that said, everybody feel free to contribute something positive, share this link around so everybody knows where to find us, and above all have fun!

Everyone keep in mind that the topic was allowed back on the basis of that it's strictly for LSPDFR Australia discussion and not a general chat-room for Australian members. Anything that's not related to Australian modding (such as showing off mods, discussing upcoming mods etc) will be violating the "no off topic posts" guideline.

So these "wonder how long this will last" comments can stop. it's strictly for Australian modding. I have also left a comment on the old topic with a link to this new topic.

Unless stated in an official capacity, My responses are my personal views and do no represent that of G17 Media or their affiliates!

If you want to me reply as soon as possible, then either quote or @CouthInk4  me as i'll be notified, a general reply will not notify me

I know there were a couple other projects trying to bring more Aussie textures, but I got impatient and decided to cook up my own. Currently replaces the trucks/trailers with Australian brands, and replaces all regulatory and most advisory street signs. Will be working on converting more textures as time permits. DL available here: https://www.darkmyre.net/files/file/60-ozgta/

(Some of the speed signs don't make sense - I've converted the existing signs to their equivalent km/h signs, sadly the Rockstar level designers seem to have placed the wrong sign props at several spots around the map. Nothing that can be done about this unfortunately)

Welcome to the second Australian LSPDFR Discussion thread, I'm too lazy to write anything about it so I'm going to copy and paste what PgUp wrote on the first one:

This thread is a general discussion thread for Australian LSPDFR players and LSPDFR Australia fans, this main post will feature a list of many things including youtubers that feature an Australian theme in their videos, some must-have Australian cars and mods and the profiles of some awesome developers of the Australian cars, characters, audio files and scripts.
For a while I was thinking why isn't there an Australian discussion thread? Why doesn't someone make one? But I must admit the final "yeah, nah, screw it, I'll be the one to do it why not" was prompted by Macgregor's status update: "Someone should make an Australian discussion thread".

I think this post will be ever-evolving and an ever-useful hub for us Aussie gamers looking to make our game feel right at home. Basically all this thread is [a place for content creators to come together into one topic and post about their projects related to Australian themed LSPDFR gaming, and for users to actively chat on-topic about said modification projects, make suggestions, admire, etc..]    , is a collaboration of links put together in one easy to find spot, and a central place to discuss.

I'll be constantly editing this main post to update info, and I'll try not to use reply's so that the info is all in one spot, one post.
Use the rest of this thread to discuss, suggest, or update on anything.

Cheers.

Suggesting edits ^ :teehee: Most of those lines taken from the old thread refer to how I had it set up with having the list of mods there on the front page, but I don't think that's relevant here (unless you were bothered to do that, but I'm not sure how many people really even used it). Stuff in green is stuff that you can add if you like, stuff crossed out is mostly irrelevant lines that you can delete if you like.
