OfficerUnderwood's DEV models thread (Current project: Who the fuck knows)

Recommended Posts

As of right now I am working on the options. Unfortunately the HQ Engine bay will be a option due to it being over 56k making the poly count over 174k. Meaning it will be available just not default. The Driver SF LQ Engine will be default as I can't poly crunch plus it just wouldn't be worth the trouble since it is just a useless luxury the average user doesn't need nor look at since they'll be looking at lights and interior. Maybe I'll try to make a MQ engine.

The HQ Trunk will be default as it's only a few thousand making the total poly count to be 121,723.

Trunk base = 1612

Tray = 2853

Trunk Cover = 3091

With LQ Trunk being just a few hundred polys and without a tray to put equipment on being 114k so not really a worry in my opinion to get rid of it.

Other options will be a SAP package for usage. Maybe later on I'll do a "Back in Time" package featuring different model year kits.

Tan interior option added. Just a simple texture swap.

Just fyi, the carpet should also be tan, and I can't tell from the pic, but the seats should have tan cloth instead of black along with other small tan accents like the seat belt clicker.

The carpet yes. But without carpet, it's just the black plastic flooring. Obviously will be optional depending on user. Seat weaving I will get to. Seat belt clicker already taken care of.

When and if you make a Street Appearance Package there is a lot of things they do differently which I was shocked to learn. I have a 03' CVPI with SAP and from what I've seen they do out with the plastic floor and have carpet that matches the interior. Instead of the seats you see in a normal police interceptor, you see a front split bench and full cloth rear seats, which also matches the interior color. The door trim is what shocks me because of the fact that it is unique compared to the Fleet package option. It also runs onto the fender as well as the doors. Now all of this varies on how the department orders them.

Yea it's basically a LX if you really think about it lol. Now at least for the later years with the 3rd trim update. They added chrome in the edge.

If you look back a few posts and the topic's "Current project". You'll see I have put that on hold to work on the CVPI. As for everyone, as of right now I am studying for the ASVAB and taking care of stuff. So I'll be a bit as this is more important than a model.

Oh you wanna join the United States Armed Forces Good Luck from my side:thumbsup:

Funny enough. Just got that done today and did so well... I have to go back up there and take a confirmation test to make sure I didn't cheat lmao.

SAP being worked on. Near finish. Just gotta do touch ups on it. Now waiting for a comment stating obvious errors and looking at every pixel looking for a problem.

Cute. Dumb question, is the template the same as your old one/murphy's. ya know the common cvpi_sign_1.

The common cvpi_sign_1 dates back to 2009 my good son when Sheaffts model... instead of a history lesson. Yes it does go along with CJ24's template which is used on Murphy's, mine, and just about every Driver:SF CVPI.
