GTA V crashes after Rage Plugin Hook loads

I was installing LSPDFR and then Rage Plugin Hook, just exactly as its explained here: http://www.lcpdfr.com/lspdfr/install/. When everything was installed, I double clicked RAGEPluginHook.exe and selected "Yes" to run it as administrator. Next I clicked "Yes" to unblock files and Rage Plugin Hook loaded. I accepted all and I had all files needed and I just had the problem that on buckup game files window I couldn't select "Yes" or "No" because it didn't do anything. I closed the window and it continued working. I didn't changed any option and next I clicked "Save and Launch". There wasn't any problem till game window appeared, and it said: "Grand Theft Auto V stopped working" and the option of "Close program". Did I just do something wrong? I also installed LSPDFR and played it 1 or 2 months ago and all worked properly. Can anyone help me? Sorry for my bad English, I'm Spanish

On the GTA V directory (where PlayGTAV.exe is located) I only have the vanilla game files and the Rage Plugin Hook and LSPDFR ones. If you ask me about a folder called "mods" in the directory, I haven't one. Should I create it?

He is not the only one having issues. I'm experienced with adding mods to GTA V and GTA IV. The latest download of RAGE as of September 9 is causing issues for me. Have not tested older versions.

1) I have a brand new clean install of windows 10
2) I have a brand new clean install of GTA V. I have it with a 100% game save and can play with no issues.
3) I have just downloaded RAGE and it tries to launch GTA. It says error and crashes GTA V. No mods, no additional items. Just RAGE.

So I am not sure the solution unless its just a buggy version of rage that slipped out.

Of course no mods folder as its clean install on clean version of windows. Also RAGE shows green on the list of requirements.

Further testing proves it is the latest rage plugin hook.

I was able to use open iv asi to run realism dispatch enhanced. The only time GTA V would crash was if launched via RAGE. If launched through open IV it would work fine.

Mine was working fine earlier today, now it crashes on start up. Haven't installed anything new or changed anything. Only thing I've done is shut down and boot up my computer.

Nevermind. Restarted Windows and now it works fine.

I am not able to get GTA 5 to run using rage plugin hook because when I try to run it with lspdfr or with rph by itself the game crashes at startup for me and it's the only time it has done it

Does RPH start to log something in the logfile before it crashes? If so, please upload that.

I'm currently not home but I can send the logfile as soon as I get home but I have no mods except for the mods folder and LSPDFR installed

If you can launch fine without RPH, launch the game frist from steam, then start up RPH after the game is launched, it worked for me, i kinda thought they fixed this a long time ago but apparently its still here/ has come back, also make sure your firewall is off for the duration of the launch, it cna come back on once rph has launched

I have the steam version of GTA 5 but I notice in the the GTA 5 folder playgta5.exe is missing

But you have an .exe that is called "GTAVLauncher"? That is the same as "PlayGTAV.exe". If I am correct, thats a difference between Steam and standalone.

I also ran Rage as administrator. Before if would crash even in admin mode. Maybe the folder being read only was an issue. Either way it is working. Stupid windows 'security'.

And disabled AVG free. AVG free will F up a lot of games. So if a game crashes. Disable that first. Even with exceptions I've still seen it crash games :P

Yup, it's dumb. Glad it works now though
