Need someone to convert a Caprice 3d model to gta 5

Recommended Posts

I don't have the time to learn how to convert or work on 3d models, I am going to purchase a 3d model of a Chevrolet caprice but it is very high poly and not game ready, I am debating between a model that costs $99.20 and $129.99, Please don't make negative comments about me spending so much on a 3d model, to me it is absolutely worth it.

This model will be for public release, I need someone who has a proven record of mods you have worked on and/or released. I will put up the money if you put up the time and skill. I would like to get this off the ground asap and would like to purchase the model now but I need help choosing between 2 I have seen so far. I will purchase the model right now (Literally), if I can get someone to start work on it immediately.

these are the 2 models I am looking at:

Again, please keep in mind that I will be purchasing the 3D model that is by no means game ready so we would pretty much be starting from scratch in terms of getting it gta 5 ready.

Actually it is accurate to a caprice, the rears for the vectra, chevy impala and caprice are pretty similar,

That's what the Caprice looks like from the rear.

The rear of the 3D model looks nothing like the real deal, looks like it's been rear-ended or something. The front-end is accurate though. My neighbor owns a Caprice (ex-cop car), btw.

It looks perfectly accurate to me. Keep in mind this is the 2011 Caprice, not the newer 2013 model. There are some styling differences between the two.

Purchase the $99 one. It's the exact same model.

I wouldn't mind doing the conversion just under one term. I'd like for the model to be released unlocked to the public.

There was a post that I started a long time ago that gained a lot of traction about someone releasing an unlocked model a while back and people seemed to like the idea. I am no hypocrite so yes, I would like to release it unlocked, I know people might take it apart and take parts from it and add to it which would make some people mad, however, I am not blind and know that people would make some great creations.

If you let lundy convert it and you release it unlocked imagine the amount of varieties of mods we'll be able to play with, think about it the more people release mods unlocked the better this community will get

Yes, I know people would go crazy making some great things with it, that is why I would like to release it unlocked.

by the way, I bit the bullet and purchased the model, I ended up going for the one that was $130, I thought they where the same model but I looked at the poly and vert count and it appears to be lower. It has 220000 polyds and 240000 verts.

The exterior of the Holden Caprice remained unchanged for almost a decade, I'm aware the grille, front and rear bumper has been tweaked a little bit and the interior was completely redesigned in 2015 (or 2014, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) but that's pretty much it, it's same old Caprice from 2007. I was told next year's gonna be the last year for the Holden Caprice, I was never really into these things but it's kinda sad to see them die out. Y'all have a good day! Peace!
