Recent FPS drop when playing LSPDFR

About 2-3 months I was able to play GTA V w/ LSPDFR and numerous Plugins loaded at a good 50-60 FPS, but just about a month ago I've started getting 38-45 FPS with LSPDFR & Plugins loaded (Also tried with just LSPDFR on a fresh install, still 38-45 FPS). I'm curious if it's a GTA V update that ****ed it up. I never had this problem before and it's been quite annoying as it's not enjoyable to play anymore. I've played GTA V w/ LSPDFR + Plugins since January and haven't had a problem until now. I've noticed some similar issues on the forums but have yet to come across a solution and hoping to find one soon.

Rockstar seem to increase the level of obfuscation on every update, this progressively slows the game down. That being said, I know a lot of LSPDFR plugins and others are very unoptimized which can lead to bad performance on weaker CPU systems. It is maybe worth trying to use LSPDFR by itself for a bit to see if your FPS improves, then adding plugins to see if one or many of your plugins are at fault.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I can't wait for the day R* stops releasing GTA Online DLC and abandons the game. That being said, I've also noticed performance drops.

Yeahh I get FPS drops ever since R* released DLCs. The game ran like an absolute beast when it was first released.

Thanks for the input guys. Glad I'm not the only one noticing performance issues. It wasn't until this latest update that I actually noticed any issues.

I got so tired of the FPS drop, I uninstalled my game and installed solely LSPDFR (No Vehicle Mods, etc.) and I was receiving the same result as when I had LSPDFR, Plugins, and Vehicle Mods. It's quite frustrating. Like I said earlier, glad I ain't the only one

I used to have the smoothest 60 FPS LSPDFR experience when it was first released. A few months back, I started to get terrible stuttering and low framerate while on duty. However, I never experience these performance issues while off duty, especially without RagePluginHook loaded (even with a boatload of other mods installed). Hell, I can even drive down frame rape boulevard and maintain 60 FPS.

I have a GTX 960, 2GB VRAM, with an Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz CPU. Not sure what I should change, but I'll have 16GB of RAM (previously 8GB) this week or the next, hoping it'll help something.

I have a GTX 970, 16GB RAM and an i7-6700k running at 4.5GHz and I've been experiencing the same drops... used to run consistently at 60FPS+ including LSPDFR, now I can't even hold 45 in the city anymore (textures only on high and a few modded LSPD cars...). Rockstar just seems to be killing performance with every update, it's insane. :\

Even with RPH loading only a few non-LSPDFR plugins (MoreControlV, SirenMastery) I struggle to maintain 60FPS in downtown.

I have the exact same specs on my PC as you. I also have had extreme frame drops. Used to be 50-60 now 30-40.

Update: I gave GTA V a shot with just LSPDFR installed and I was getting the same results. I read that turning of VSync would actually fix it because if you couldn't reach 60FPS then it would actually drop, it did infact help but it will still drop down to the 30s-40s.

I uninstalled, cleared everything out including my Profile, and I decided to set all my Graphics/Advanced Graphics off or to Normal and I STILL was getting upper 30s-60. I then proceeded to defrag my C Drive, check my Computer Health, check to see if I had memory issues but discovered no issues what so ever but am still stricken with low FPS. At this point I'm honestly dumbfounded. Does anyone know of any other procedures/tests I could do to see what the problem is?
