So I was just curious on what everyone favorite law enforcement department is.

Mine would have to be State Police because my dad was a trooper and listening to his stories when he'd come home and riding along with him sometimes got me all excited and everything.

But I bet you all have stories to tell as well! Post what's your favorite. It can be for whatever reason.:)

Probly Sheriffs office over here. Mainly due to my local department

Since I'm Canadian & all, probably City Police, Sheriffs around here only do prisoner transport & stuff to do with the courts, so Regional & Municipal Police, RCMP don't really do much.

Troopers, because there are some people out there who just can't drive properly. I love when you see some idiot cutting people off and weaving in and out of traffic, just to go about a mile further and see him on the side of the road with a trooper behind him. Also, here in Oregon, the Game Wardens are part of the state police instead of their own agency. 

Troopers my uncle is NJSP retired and trying to not be partisan(home state) I honestly think it is one of the best state agencies in the nation  

Trying not to be parrisan or biased but my home state nj I think highly of them

I would have to go with wildlife management ( State Conservation )

The one and the only, the LCPD!

Not much choice here. It's technically the same for the entire country.

Vermont State Police or my local department.

 

Highway Patrol =D

FHP, Sarasota Co. SO, Boynton Beach PD and the LAPD   (It's a long list I know but I can't decide    )

New Mexico State Police. 

I would say Police officer in a town or city, you have more power and get to deal with a larger range of events. The sheriffs office deals more with the courts and unincorporated areas of the county, and assists other agencies when needed. And FHP only deals with traffic enforcement and investigating accidents, and everyone hates them even other agencies so yea... 

My department is pretty great but id have to go with North Carolina State Highway Patrol

 

My would have to be Texas Rangers or U.S marshals.
