AI police pullovers

I was playing LCPDFR 1.0 since its release and one thing stood out that was mind blowing and really impressed me. During the random events I came across an AI police officer pulling over a car, get out of his car, walk to the passenger window to speak, get back in his car, get back out and tell the driver to get out of his vehicle and arrested him. This allowed me to turn around and pull up to assist. I thought this was so awesome. The mod as a whole is awesome to say the least, but I do have one suggestion or request.  Is it any way the traffic stops can occurs more frequently? I think with all that is going on with calls it would be nice if it gave us more random AI traffic stops that we could pull up and assist.  I think it would be cool even if we never had to get out of the cruiser, but just giving a presence. Also the other way around, is when we make traffic stops it could be a button to ask for assistance and they just pull up behind your car without even getting out would be cool. When it's multiple peds in a vehicle it would be nice to be able to have officers there just as a precaution. I think this would add some more realism to the patrol when you're doing traffic rounds. Just a thought I had. What do you guys think?

Those traffic stops are awesome, I agree.

Perhaps adjust these lines in the LCPDFR config file

AmbientScenariosMaximum=2
AmbientScenariosMultiplier=250

The AI traffic stops come under ambient scenario I think.
As for the AI assisting you, that's a little difficult with the GTA IV AI being hardcoded in. Maybe it's possible though I don't know. We'll see :)

Ok , Thanks LukeD! I will give it a shot and see if that does anything, because I have to say it again....the traffic stops are so badazz! I would LOVE to be able to see more of them around town on the norm. You know how bad the drivers are in GTAIV, so it would only be right to see more.lol ;)

It has been suggested before, and it would likely just result in the backup squad car smashing you from behind, or doing something silly.

How about the rest? More AI pullovers around town that you can pull up too and assist?

Ahhhhh...wall of text....Ahhhhhh....!!!  JK.

I've actually never seen that before, except the usual one in front of the museum.  I've seen the ambient drug deal hand-off a few times though, that's pretty cool too, although you got to be paying attention to see it if you have the action cam shut off.

I'll definitely keep an eye open for that cop-stop ambient scenario.

Yeah, sure it's a traffic stop event. They all spawned stopped already though, there is no "pulling over". All the officer is scripted to do is check the trunk, walk to the driver, talk to him/her shit about the traffic stop, go back to the squad car, get dismissed.

Those are the two hardcoded ones, by the museum and on the bridge.

The LCPDFR ones actually pull over a car (you hear the cops say "pull over" on the megaphone and see the car pull to the side if you are quick enough)

I've seen a couple of the LCPDFR ones now, would be nice to see more of them. :)

I'll try to do some video capture over the holidays and show them off a bit more because they do seem rather rare.

Oh!

Didn't even know about those, never seen these types.

All I've seen is the ambient GTA:IV ones (the bridge one mostly, I don't think I saw the museum one yet). Well, it's nice to know that LCPD:FR brings AI Pullovers too.

There's one by a church in middle Algonquin. On Columbus between Lorimar and Manganese, if I recall correctly.

That's what I meant. Not museum xD (it's the same road)

Ah, bugger. Thought there was a third coded-in ambient traffic stop.

As for LCPDFR ambient traffic stop, I've yet to have one occur, sadly. Most of the time it's just "police chase, drug deal, reckless driver, shots fired, police chase, game crash" for me.

I snapped a screenshot of an officer arresting the driver. I heard the "PULL OVER ASSHOLE" and turned the corner to see the AI pulling the car over. He walked up to the window and did the "let me see your ID" and then said "Expired, huh? Step out of the car!"

It was an ambient scenario because it did the camera thing, and the blue dot appeared.

I've seen the AI police actually driving and pulling the vehicle over then conducting the stop 1 time. I asked the same thing if there was a way to make those more frequent but never got a response lol

I'd try the quote below me. That might help.
