Character Editor Unable to leave editor room

HI all, I just fully reinstalled GTA V and LSPDFR due to some issues related to scripthookV. Game and LSPDFR load up just fine. My problem is that whenever I go to make a new character (pause>LSPDFR>Character>Switch Character), after I go through the process of creating my ped and everything, when I select use on my character's name, the menu goes away but the game never puts me back to where I was before entering the editor. I'm stuck just looking at my character holding the little name board. no loading circle or anything. I can bring up the pause menu and my other mod menus (ENT, EUP, etc.) but I CANNOT get out of this room whatsoever. TPing out with a trainer unloads the room but the camera remains stuck under the map. Also the character menu never loads if I try to go on duty normally and then press enter when it says I need to select character. Don't know what's going on and I have tried everything including reinstalling LSPDFR and RPH multiple times. RPH log attached. I also noticed an access violation error early on in the LSPDFR loading process. something to do  with removing ambient blips. Not sure if that ahs do do with my issue. Any help is appreciated as I CANNOT play LSPDFR without getting past this stage. Here is a short 4 min clip explaining the issue:

UPDATE: Just tried with a preset character; same problem persists

UPDATE 2: Fixed this by deleting scripthook V. One of my scripts must be messing with the game's cutscenes because a few other things were also affected. anyway, now LSPDFR crashed right as the screen fades to black leaving the editor so i'm working on that now.
