Game crashing at startup

Im finally excided to play LSPDFR because it just got updated for the "The Contract" I got a brand new GTA copy, I downloaded LSPDFR no mods no plugins, I started up Ragepluginhook.exe and I get this message... It just crashes, I tried re-installing gta again! But still no luck. I even tried starting pluginhook while in singleplayer but still nothing.

Try to add your GTA folder as an exception in your antivirus/ windows antivivirus.

Still nothing. I even tried disabling the anti-cheat and starting up pluginhook like that but still nothing...

Did you use the RPH came with the latest LSPDFR version? Normally it would show

Grand Theft Auto V has crashed

The one on the RPH website has not been updated.

Yeah I used the RPH from the LSPDFR website, I just simply downloaded LSPDFR and installed it.

So the game crash immediately when the game started by RPH, and if you hook an existing instance the game crashes right after you hooked it?

I had exactly the same issue, i solved it by adding it to exception list in antivirus. But you already tried that.

 

You can send us a screenshot of the rph settings tab, which you get by starting rph and holding shift or klicking on the cogwheel icon when starting.

Did you install the manual version?

The automatic installer is known to cause problems.

 

What you still can do, is sending a screenshot from the main gta folder,

and a screenshot of the exception from the antivirus.

I tried both of them, first I installed the automatic one and then the manual one.

you only have default win10 antivirus correct?

set the exception exactly like this:

D:\GrandTheftAuto V\Grand Theft Auto V

 

I havent seen your ragepluginhook.log, you can post that if rph creates one.

by the way, there is a new little update for rph,

you can get that by downloading lspdfr again.

you can see the update, because rph is now version 1.89 instead of 1.88

I actually have win11 and no, I use bitdefender as my antivirus and as I posted the screenshot before I already set an exception like this: D:\GrandTheftAuto V\Grand Theft Auto V, also I dont see any RagePluginHook.log folder anywhere, in fact I dont see any log file in my GTA main directory.

The log is a text document located beneath the RagePluginHook.exe. It is overwritten every time you start RagePluginHook

No, my game crashes as soon as the RPH tries to load into GTA as I said in this post before

I am having the same issues. I have tried loading normal GTAV without RPH and it still crashes at the same spot. Could this be a GTAV issue and not a RPH issue?
