I've just downloaded this pack and it's good. Only problem is, the ELS lights are really dim. As well as this, the handling isn't very good, even though I added the new handling file.

 

The dim ELS lights on the cars is a model bug. Apparently most of BPM's models have lightbars that are a bit dim - you can remedy this by boosting your "car default emmissive" value in your visualSettings.dat.

 

I will not provide an optimized visualSettings.dat for this version because everybody more or less uses a different ENB setting, so it might not suit everybody's needs. I do recommend BPM's ENB (on GTA SC) which should work with most of his vehicles (and their lightbars) as chances are they were probably optimized for it anyway.

 

As for the handling, it should work fine, it did on my PC and many other users so if you are reporting a fault please be more specific (which cars are you reporting?). As for the large turning radius on the Sprinters and most vans (as reported by another user) I have fixed that problem and will be implementing it into the next version of the pack which will come out soon.

Where is the "visualSettings.dat that we need to edit? there are a lot in my EFLC haven't checked IV and what line(s) are we looking for?

The line you need to edit (search for it in notepad):

 

car.defaultlight.emissive.on 565.00 // 565.00 is MY value, yours might be different, just increase it to increase the ELS lights in ENB.

Now I have a couple of probably "noob" questions if you wouldn't mind answering please.

 

Why can't I see the Paramedic Rapid Response vehicle, Met Police red Diplomatic Protection Group vehicle or the black taxi? Have I done something wrong?

Defenatly, but i think the best skin you could get for one of them is a Merseyside Police one :)

Hey, I saw your comment on the download page but for some technical reason I could not reply to it...

 

Have you installed the Game Files? Simply importing the Vehicles will not do. You need the Game Files installed to get the configuration working - the taxi colour is controlled via carcols, the livery support is notified in the vehicles ide etc.

 

The DPG is an extra livery of the BMW 5, and the LAS RRV an extra livery of the Volvo V70, however I can't seem to select the right liveries in-game either using my trainer so I don't know whether it is a bug with my and your trainers or BPM's vehicles. You can always spawn them a number of times till you get the livery you want, that is what I have been doing so far - If you drive away far enough not looking at them, the unwanted spawned vehicles will eventually de-spawn...

Thanks for your quick reply mate. I imported all the files as per the readme document. I managed to get it working yesterday but then I added the BMW X5 and it all went pear shaped again. On another note when I visit the Police Station and have to choose my vehicle, if I scroll past the Noose Patriot going right or the Noose Stockade going left my game freezes and I have to load the game again. If I'm honest I don't use a trainer, I'm new to the whole LCPDFR world and haven't downloaded one just yet.

 

However I've just seen your new update, which looks superb by the way. I will to see if this solves my issues.

I think your vehicles.img is corrupted. You should re-install your backup one and repeat the mod installation process again. It happened to me quite a few times with other mods, AFAIK the only way to solve it is to re-install your backup files.

I've reinstalled my backup vehicles.img and then installed your latest (great work mate!!!) but I'm still having the same issues. Any suggestions? Should I be asking these questions somewhere else and not your thread mate?

I don't know what much else suggest, sorry. So far no one else has the same problem so don't think it's related to the mod. Yeah dude thanks for your suggestions, it's not for you to worry about anyway. I've just uninstalled ELS and it's now working perfectly. Just got to find out what is wrong with ELS now and then reinstall.

I have a few problems though, I downloaded this pack and it appears the light bar on the focus & the BMW is not the one I have when I installed them, Secondly when I try to spawn the extra cars via my trainer, my game just crashes and it tells me to reinstall my game.

 

Any ideas? (I am sure I put all the files in the correct places but apparently not)
