Auto Pursuit Backup 2.0.3

Simply turn on the mod (Default: NumPad0), turn on your sirens and dispatch will automatically send units to your location.

Tired of having to spam the 'b' button when you want backup and also tired of being on a pursuit on your own?
I wrote this LSPDFR plugin to passively get other officers to assist, and they'll help you with sirens wailing.

You can set the maximum amount of units that will assist (per pursuit) in the INI file with the plugin.

Just don't worry about a thing next time you make a traffic stop or engage in a callout, your buddies will help :D

If your units are desperate, they'll send in a heli to help also.

Just insert in the GTAV\Plugins\LSPDFR folder and don't forget the .INI!

Love the mod but a question how do you make them leave after the call? I have like 8 cops just blinking on the map after one call out that just stay stagnant?

i am not sure, but i think you are getting a wanted level (1-5 stars) so the cops will come next to you, but do not chase you, they chase the suspect.

This was my experience, i am not pretty sure if this is helpful for me, because the wanted level confuses me. But this is only my opinion, it is a great mod and work.

For what ever reason this broke LSPDFR, it seemed to prevent me from going on duty completely, I would not receive the On duty message from LSPDFR, the one that says you are now on duty as a <Insert agency name>, therefore preventing me from doing pullovers and callouts. I do have callout plugins and many other ragehook plugins. If you need a list for diag. purposes let me know.

Force end of call by pressing canc button on keyboard.

Thanks for the response I tried that earlier to no avail but after a reinstall and a computer reset it is working flawlessly now.  It must have been my computer blocking something as every time I launch it in the main "plugins" folder and not "plugins lspdfr" folder rage has to open it as windows is blocking it for some weird reason.  I had it in the "plugin lspdfr" sub folder that is the reason the police were staying and not leaving.  In the normal "plugin" folder it works as advertised but now I have to allow rage to enable it prior to GTA launch.  Well worth clicking O.K. one more time to have such a great modification.

Sounds like you need to unblock the PoliceBackup.dll via right click, properties.

Hi there,
I developed the mod to automatically load when you go on duty, you don't have to worry about a thing.
I have got word that some are having issues loading it up so I'm working to fix that for those individuals at the moment.

At the moment I only just released the first version of the mod, and being Christmas I'm working to iron out a lot of the issues.
That said I'm back at my desk and working away for you guys!

Hi,

Some users are getting this issue and I am working to iron out the problem.
In the meantime you can use the ReloadAllPlugins by using the console (F4 by default).

Hi all!

I did some research and discovered that some other mods may force crash LSPDFR while Auto Pursuit Backup is installed.
My advice is to remove all mods except for Auto Pursuit and slowly re-add them if you wish.
I am working at the moment on user control on the 'unit join pursuit' interval (the interval that the plugin adds a unit to the chase) to be defined in the INI file.
You will see an update in the near future.

Hi,

I believe it will work with any Rage Hook that operates fine with LSPDFR, since it is an LSPDFR plugin not an independent mod.
That said I work with Rage Hook v0.29.817.5806.

A good thing to add to this is the ability to end a pursuit if it get's too dangerous and the key is changeable in the ini, that'd be awesome. Keep up the good work!

Place the two files in the "Plugins\LSPDFR" folder, since it uses the LSPDFR API to work.

Do this:

Right Click your RagePluginHook.exe   run as admin.  You will get the admin pop up hit yes.  HOLD DOWN SHIFT and wait approx 10 seconds sometimes 15 depending on your system.  You will get a Rage Hook Menu.   Go to Plugins Menu tab.  Select "Load All Plugins"  hit Save and Launch..

Very helpful plugin! Also, does it work on 0.28 RPH version? And are you planning to add support for addon vehs (e.g. sheriffmav - LSSD Maverick by Yard1) in INI?

Hi and thank you!

I believe it will work with any Rage Hook version that is compatible with LSPDFR itself as it is an LSPDFR plugin.
As soon as I can iron out bugs and methods I plan to add many more features. And yes, that is planned, I will be integrating some aspects into other modifications, toggable within the INI file.

For some reason this doesn't work for me at all. Units that spawn just stay still and does not move anywhere. 

I am running on the latest ragehook so this shouldn't be a problem.

This is a great idea though, I'm looking forward to seeing this grow.

Sorry that it's not working on your system, the mod uses RequestBackup using the LSPDFR API, does using the 'B' menu work at all?
Quite strange, I'll look into it however it is known that some mods can interfere in some way to affect the mod.
