INJURED STATE 2.0

Welcome to InjuredState v2.0 — the most significant update to the plugin since its initial release. This version completely transforms the injury experience for LSPDFR, moving far beyond a simple ragdoll and countdown system into a fully dynamic emergency response simulation.

When an NPC attacks you, the game now responds like it should. Police units are automatically dispatched Code 3 to pursue the suspect, an ambulance races to your location, and a tracking blip marks the attacker on your minimap in real time. If the suspect is taken down by responding units the blip turns into a skull at their last known position. If they are arrested it disappears cleanly. When paramedics successfully treat you, you automatically rejoin the active pursuit — no menus, no keypresses, no interruptions to immersion.

Vehicle strikes are handled separately — any NPC driver that hits you triggers pursuit backup units to chase them down, with an ambulance only called if the impact actually injures you.

Every injury type now has its own behavior. A headshot gives you just 60 seconds before your condition becomes critical. A leg shot sends you limping immediately. Torso hits are handled by health degradation as before. Treatment is no longer a guaranteed outcome. Paramedics have an 80% chance of saving you from a normal injury and a 50% chance from a headshot — reflecting the severity of the wound. If they fail, the screen fades and you bleed out.

All of these values are fully configurable in the InjuredState.ini file that is automatically created on first run, along with toggles for the officer down system and vehicle pursuit backup.

Both PolicingRedefined and UltimateBackup are fully supported with matching behavior — pursuit backup, ambulance dispatch, and treatment animations work the same regardless of which backup mod you have installed.


Requirements

To fully use all v2.0 features you will need the following installed:

  • LSPDFR.

  • RagePluginHook.

  • DamageTrackerFramework (DTF) — required for bone-specific injuries, headshot detection, leg shots, vehicle strike detection, and the automatic officer down system. Without DTF the plugin runs in v1.0 compatibility mode — health polling, limping, and manual ambulance call only.

  • PolicingRedefined or UltimateBackup — at least one is required for backup dispatch and ambulance. The plugin detects whichever is installed automatically at runtime — no configuration needed.


Installation

Drop the compiled InjuredState.dll into Grand Theft Auto V/Plugins/LSPDFR/

Looks pretty sweet do you know if it's compatible with LSPDFR Enhanced Remastered's death system where there's a chance you loose your career when you respawn at hospital?

It should be since it only affects the death vanilla system. Think it like this only adds a filter on top of the death vanilla system. Now I think about it maybe I should add attempts for calling the ambulance but that depends on y’all feel free to add some feedback here.

If possible you should add a chance where the paramedics can't save you if injuries are too severe

Very good plugindude! I've been waiting for a plugin like this for a long time. Are you planning to add an ini file to it? How can I set the number of seconds or turn the timer off? And when they shoot you in the car, you have to get out to start the timer. Can you fix this. Very good plugin man

about the ini file I’ll think about it, I want it to be as much realistic as possible, thanks for that info I’ll check it out tonight. I’m planing to modify the tracking system in future updates

When a NPC stabbed me with a knife the game didn't give me the option to wait and took me directly to the hospital while I was "waiting" for the ambulance; this bug crashed my Game.

I also experienced a bug where, even though the doctors came, the counter kept going down until the game finally considered that I had recovered.

Why did this happen?

Except for this bug which has happened to me twice, the mod is amazing and works perfectly, thank you very much.

weird since you're using ub it suppose to revive you. i'm updating the mod this week, you can disable it in the meantime if you want.

Hello, I am currently facing a bug when my player dies, my player respawns in the hospital. After that, I respawn in the hospital dead. Is there something I am doing wrong?

I don't know if it's because I installed the "Better Hit Reaction Mod", but all other functions are normal for me. I only use UB. However, when the medical staff arrived, even though my health bar had recovered, I still fell to the ground. Then, as time went on, I was reborn in the hospital, and then the FR system crashed.

could be, try the mod without it and see your outcome.

I removed the Better Hit Reaction Mod and tested again, but the problem still exists.

I also noticed another issue. Now, when my character is killed, the game directly triggers the vanilla death animation. My character then falls near the hospital entrance. When the UB medics arrive, they just leave immediately and do not revive me. After that, I have to wait until the respawn timer finishes before I can respawn.

So I am not sure if this is still related to Better Hit Reaction Mod. It may also be caused by the DeadlyWeapon plugin, or by another plugin that changes the death, injury, or revive system.

Do you think this could be a conflict with a plugin that controls player death or revive behavior?

Yes. I recommend you to take all of them out except for injured state and go adding the one by one to test which one is doing the conflict

What if i have both Ultimate Backup and Policing Redefined installed? I can't remove Ultimate Backup, because i need it for Compulite and PIS (Persistent Identity System).
