Hey there, Robert. Nice pack overall, however I'm running into an issue with the FPIU, Silverado, FPIS, and Charger. The LSTG3 setting steadyburns for me, seemingly overlayed with the flash pattern it's supposed to have. I didn't have the issue with the marked CVPI, as obviously it uses a different lightbar. I triple-checked my installation, and everything seems to be correctly installed, so I'm wondering if this is a bug?

Oh no, one of my testers had this issue as well but it seemed like a one-off since no one else had it, I'm not completely sure of the fix yet but I will look into it and try to get back to ya tm since it's getting a bit late here. I assure you that I'll look into it in the meantime though.

I was just curious how I could texture my own department on the car? I tried to delete the reflective texture an all it did was just make the patrol car all white.

I'm also having this issue but with the CVPI also, still a great pack tho!!

Not at the moment, I recently had a retro pack in so I'm wondering if I did something when putting that pick in/taking it out that's causing it, I replaced all the files with the ones you provided too.

im installing another rotator pack to see if its something on my end

Ah okay, that could very well be the issue. It seems like there is a compatibility issue with the carvariations.meta. Have you ever installed any other carvariations.meta? That's most likely the issue then.

I'm just curious, would there be any guidance on how to make the lightbars work if I placed the Taurus into a Police5 slot and the Silverado into a Police7 slot (Courtesy of Albo's modding)?

 

Everything's working fine, it's just that the Police 5 and 7 slots are showing the same symptoms as FHSig13. If not, no worries, I'll just have to think of something.

Yeah, in the carviariations.meta for those slots you will need to set the sirensetting to 13. Then it should work as it does in the other slots.

I finally got time today and installed Jed's LVMPD based pack and that worked fine, after reinstalling your pack my FPIS's light bar now works perfectly (and is simplistically beautiful) so I'm kinda at a loss for whats going on and how to fix it😂

At least it's working now, if you have any other problems like that I'd say to look through the dlcpacks for a carvariations.meta that has an entry for any of the police slots (except for the mpluxe2 carvar since that's from the pack) and if you find one make sure that the sirensetting is set to 13 👍

Great Pack...however, I have done a fresh install and all of the models with exception to the two CVPIS will not light up properly. You can see the lights spinning but not illuminating on top of the car. You can see the reflection off of the near by buildings and so on bu thats all

I would just like to say that I have had the same problem that has been described. My CVPI works properly, but everything else (the lightbars) do not work properly. I have double and triple checked over all of my possible carvariations.meta files, and all of them are fine & not in conflict. I have also messed with the VCF files many times, and edited many things. I can't seem to find a fix for this. Please if you can help me, I love this car pack.

That is REALLY interesting, I haven't heard that one yet. If the rotators look like they are spinning properly (instead of flashing in place) I'd say there is a problem with your ELS. I'd try to maybe reinstall it.

Are the lightbars that are not working spinning but with no actual light being visible or are they flashing in place? That may help to narrow it down a bit.

They are spinning with no light being visible. The rear deck lights and traffic advisor flash as they should. When I turn the lights off, some in the lightbar stay on in a steady burn mode

That means something didn't get installed correctly. Make sure all files are placed where they are supposed to be.

I cleared out my and did a clean install in my kids folder. Followed the recommended paths that were noted on LSPDFR. CVPI with the rotator bar works fine, all others not so much. Is there a difference in the ELS configs between Police 1 and Police 2, Police 3, Police T, and Police old 2?  That's the only thing I did not copy exact, I made changes to Police 1 and then copied and pasted it for the others listed above

The recommended paths noted here on somewhere else on the forum. The only other thing I could think of is try placing the carvariations also into mpchristmas2 instead of mpluxe2. I had the same issue after the latest patch.

There's your issue. Police 1 uses DRO2 while all of the other cars (except for the unmarked) use DRO1 lighting mode. To apply those changes to every car and have everything work properly you'll need to edit the originals for each slot in the download. Otherwise you'll have this issue and possibly some flashing antennas or something.

Very strange... it seems to be an issue with the carvariations not working properly for some reason.  Maybe try adding the entries for the included cars in to a newer DLC?
