This is honestly one of the coolest mods I have seen in a while, the features sound great. Can't wait to test in game.

You just place the files from the Grand Theft Auto V folder inside your game folder.

just to clarify @khoriowould this be able to replace the scanner audio when a callout is being offered in LSDPFR?

Yes, this takes over the playback of the audio.

yes how do i get that to play reapeatidly ?

Plugins\LSPDFR\XScanner\Config\XScanner.ini
; Enable playback of background chatter
BackgroundScanner=true
; Enable playback on NPC vehicles (turn this off if you experience lag)
EnableOnNPCVehicles=false

; Minimum and maximum seconds between background chatter
BackgroundMinTime=5
BackgroundMaxTime=10

Lowering min and maxtime

Having fps drop as well. Incompatible with MoreRadioChatter. Wont take my custom Intro and Outro sounds. Somehow the sound is too low even at 10 of volume.

Could you maybe release a version of Automatic Roadblocks without requiring XScanner? Thanks

Why is it causing my game to drop heavily? ?

If you're having issues with fps drops disable background playback on npc vehicles, as the ini clearly states.

I feel that we agree Automatic Roadblocks needs an update, but if you read the description, he announced Automatic Roadblocks would come out some time next week

If MoreRadioChatter just calls the LSPDFR API it should work just fine.

The background chatter volume is fixed, mainly because it is truly playing in 3d space from the vehicle, not just adjusting volume in relation to the distance,

the volume control only applies to actual calls to the police scanner (callouts, etc).

And no, XScanner was made because the default scanner was seriously lacking in function for what roadblocks needs,

so there will be no version that does not require XScanner.

This looks very cool.  But does this mean you can no longer hear any radio chatter unless you're within ear shot of your cruiser?  Wouldn't an officer always hear the radio through their ear piece or radio on their belt?  I'm gonna try this. Thanks!

Only the ambient background chatter yes.

Callout sounds will still play normally wherever you are.

I disabled the vehicle chatter and still had the fps issue. Even after tweaking every setting, the issue still was present.

I love the idea,  but it is indeed unplayable at this stage (even with vehicle chatter disabled)  never experienced a FPS drop until this mod.  I will however be keeping my eye on this one.  I really like the radio chatter you have!   Best of luck with this      I truly wish I could use it

I'm not gonna make a bad review cause my issue is changeable but I'll sure leave a comment on it:

But let's start at the beginning:

Well, I saw this plugin and the amazingly good idea behind it, so I was like, well, a bit of police chatter would be good and went for installing it.

I  started up the game and almost instantly, the FPS dropped down to 30-40 whereas I usually play this game on sweet 50-60 FPS. Idk what the exact issue behind it is (too much loose code/code trash in the files; conflicts with other essential plugins; complexity) but I really hope you will be able to fix its ressource consumption. Other than that the plugin is amazing but I'm absolutely unable to play with it atm. Please fix this issue to make this plugin a unique addon to my and other people's game! Cause from what I could experience it was a plugin with a superior sound quality AND an enormous potential!

Greetings, Kucho 😄
