About This File

Hello everyone! I'm here with my pride to present one of the hardest cars to make, knowing that its supposed to replicate its real life counterpart. The car I'm going to present you is a Chevrolet Caprice 9C1 from Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. This car is a reknown piece of history for the department and also cars in general. It wasn't easy to make, or better say know to make this car. There were so few pics of it (most of them are shitty replicas spawning randomly on Google) that I had to dig in things like LASD classic recruiting videos and even the episodes from the COPS TV Series (Season 2, 1989-1990) to find actual references of this car, and make it like how it's supposed to be.

And now, I finally succeded!

F.A.Q.

Q: Why do the lights steady burn randomly?

A: It's probably an ELS thing, use a trainer to disable the extras which turn on the lights.

Q: Why are LSTG-1 and LSTG-2 the same?

A: As you know, this car is from the 80s, so don't expect to have so many patterns and be a fancy Christmas tree.

Q: Why doesn’t the car work?

A: I put a Readme in the archive. Check it out.

Enjoy!

What's New in Version 1.1

Looks great, good to see a release.

Not as good as helping out each other. We did such an amazing job.

cant find the vehshare?

Forgot to put it. Take the one from my other cars (unmarked box Caprice, 91 LAPD Caprice, 82 CHP Impala, etc.).

Technically speaking, it’s not really necessary do some edits to the vehshare file, it just replaces the license plate texture.

Love the car, looks great. But one red light stays on. I've tried to use a trainer but it doesn't work. and I've tried messing with the ELS file. What else could I do?

I suggest you Enhanced Trainer or Menyoo.

Remember that the 2 red and blue lights at the ends of the lightbar are supposed to be steady burning.

Hey, so I've got a problem with the light bar, specifically the Siren_Glass 1/2 texture. on high detail it stays where it needs to, but as soon as the detail quality dips to Medium or lower (by, say, taking a 5 second stroll away from the car) the glass jumps up about half a foot. I've looked around the extent I'm able, and couldnt find out why

I think this is a LOD issue with the lightbar, which I didn’t make but officerwaller did. I’ll see when he puts on a better one.
