Basic Callouts (Trespassing, 911 Abuse, Assault with Firearm...) 2.1.1.0

   (10 reviews)

About This File

This callout pack aims to bring more realism in terms of what police officers deal with on a daily basis; it's not always just shootouts and police pursuits, but rather incidents such as people acting suspiciously, and investigating people's actions.

Feel free to edit the .ini file to configure what callouts you want the game to spawn.

Overall, I hope you enjoy, and please leave a comment/review saying your opinion about any feature, and what needs to be improved/added. I'm trying to base callouts off of ones that haven't been added by other callout packs from my own knowledge, and if there are any that are similar, I will try and vary the context and the outcome to make it more diverse.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thank-you for downloading!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These plugins will provide a more realistic experience when using this callout pack:

Police Smart Radio - Albo1125

Search Warrant - darkmyre

Stop The PedBejoljo

Computer+ (for arrest reports etc.) - PieRGud

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------Thanks to Jeff Favignano and FirstThirtyMinutes for showcasing this mod in one of their LSPDFR episodes:---------

Please check out these videos to see the plugin in action, and do consider watching it via YouTube to help support these content creators.

CALLOUTS:

===========

Currently, there are eight callouts available as of v2.1.0.0:

Shoplifting (Clothing Store)Asses the situation, and arrest the suspect if they are in possession of stolen items.

Suspicious Ammunition PurchaseA person is attempting to buy a large amount of ammunition - further information available when on-scene.

Objects On The RoadwayClear the objects that are holding up vehicles to prevent any accidents occuring.

Suspicious PersonUnknown person who has been reported to be acting in a suspicious manner. Take precautions as you don't know what they have on them!

Assault with a Firearm Get to the scene of this one quick, and attempt to take down the shooter. (Multiple callout locations - more coming).

Abuse Of 911 Someone is wasting the emergency service's time by repeatedly phoning 911 when they don't need it. Investigate their phone to see if they have any recent logs or not.

TrespassingSomeone is on land that they shouldn't, whether it be residential land or commercial, or even military.

Vehicle ExplosionA fire or unknown event has caused a vehicle to explode.

Also, lots of credit to LtFlash for making the plugin CoordSaverV, as it was massively helpful in being able to determine spawn locations for these callouts.

Contains a .ini file to customise what callouts you receive in-game.

Why does it require ScriptHookV?

Removed that requirement now, only Rage Plugin Hook should be needed.

hi man... please ignore the sadistic 1 star review.

you've already stated that this callout is WIP and there'll be many bugs, etc.

that guy should have read it before giving review.

all in all, not bad for a beginner and you have potential to fix those bugs and write more callouts.

now, i'm not giving you any review yet until your callout is ready.

keep up the good work! 👍

can i add some callout suggestions to add

Manhunt Assist - assisting officers in pursuit of a man who fled but hes hiding somewhere in the nearby area - Works Great For K9 patrols

Bus Accident - assist all members involved in the Traffic collision see whos at fault - great for Police or CHP

Woman With a Knife- 911 caller reporting a woman drunk with a knife threatening to kill herself or anyone who gets near her -

Shoplifter at posonbys or sub urbans - store owner witnessed a shoplift in there store  suspect is in the area description to follow upon arriving to the scene

Suspect pickup from LSIA - LSIA police have a suspect for transport bring him to the station for booking and lockup - great for police transport roleplay

TechGamer i would love to see the first callout listed up there if possible or even all the above it would be awesome to have it

Brilliant list, I think the Bus Accident hasn't been covered by anyone yet, however the Manhunt was covered in OJ's Manhunt callout I believe. Woman with a knife would be excellent, and a shoplifter at a shop other than the convenience stores would also be great.

Good day! Can I make a suggestion for this plugin? It is named „Basic Callouts“ which made me expect regular police work callouts, little less action you know? Maybe you could focus on callouts like these. You can find shooting, explosion callouts etc. everywhere but you don‘t relly get callouts based on real everyday police work. So here a little suggestion for callouts you should focus on in my opinion! 😎

- welfare check (possibly a dead body or a older lady that doesn’t hear very well)

- abandoned vehicle (possibly stolen, the vehicle related to another crime etc.)

- objects on the road (that caused an accident, dangerous situations for drivers etc.)

- motor vehicle accident (with perhaps an animal, possibly a drunk driver etc.)

- hit-and-run (getting to the accident scene, investigating and looking for the vehicle involved)

- trespassing/property alarm going off (possible burglary or just some drunk people)

- noise complaint (a party with loud music or possibly a domestic disturbance)

- missing person (daughter missing her father, did he get kidnapped, lost orientation or has a valid explanation)

- construction fire (secure the scene, keep the media outside the yellow tap, assist fire dept.)

You are right there; this callout pack is meant to be based off more common and low-end callouts like these, however I threw in Assault with a firearm just for some fun.

With regards to your list, tresspassing and abandoned vehicle calls are already implemented, however I like the sound of adding depth into them such as the stolen aspect of the vehicle call.

Hit and run has been covered by other callout packs, as has noise complaint and welfare check, however objects on the road would be a good one to add, as would a motor vehicle accident call thats different to how other people have done it.

Not bad, can I suggest a callout? Disturbance at a Transit center, I live in the city and a lot of calls are for disturbances fights etc at transit centers, that would certainly add some realism to a big city callout

Obviously I've caused some drama type action here so let me clear up some things.

Firstly I want to say that I support anyone that is new to scripting, as it is something that requires someones time and actual effort to be put in.

Take my first callout pack as an axample, I started off learning c# from a tutorial online reading through a few pages and slowly getting to know what I was actually having to do inside a c# project. Once I had the basic knowledge of c#, I started writing the callout pack which gave me some basic understanding of the API. I carried on testing and messing around with LSPDFR's API until I knew how to create a basic callout by myself. Skip forward a few months and I deleted my callout pack and started a new one which I had put more effort and time into (took me around half a year to complete it), skip forward another few months and I dismissed that callout pack due to crashes but might continue working on it once I am done working on my K9 Plugin, which I've been working on since the beginning of march.

Basically, I'm pointing to the fact that you should at least put some amount of effort and time into your project, even if it's going to be having some bugs & crashes after a few months, which will lead you to either fixing them or dismissing your project.

Hope I'm making some kind of sense.

And I'll be more than glad leaving another honest review once you've fixed the issues with your project and won't give you a five stared one because "I see potential".

I think the "im new to C# and I dont know what I'm doing" bugs have been resolved, if you know what I mean, but I am always trying to make new things happen in my plugin.

I probably will keep this plugin active if people show an interest in it, but then leave it in its state and work on something else.

I'll give your callout pack another look in a few days, busy enough as it is rn, thanks for the update. Dont be afraid to ask me code related questions.

I just love how you're actually using our suggestions. Keep doing this and your callouts will be very successfull! If I come up with more low-end callout ideas I'll let you know. I was in a ride along program for one year with my local police department so I have some "real life experience" when it comes to regular callouts. "motor vehicle on fire" is one of those. Would be great if you could add that. Sometimes we were able to put the fire out our selfes but most of the time we secured the road and noticed the fire dept.

Great work, keep it up! 🙂👍

I'll try to add that callout, as I'm trying hard to avoid doing any that other people have done and I reckon thats one that no one has done yet. Motor vehicle accident is being implemented soon I'm still working on it. 🙂

One more thing; any way you could change "end callout" from 'x' to 'end'? As 'x' instantly generates another callout 🙂

Great job on the callouts, I like these simple calls as well.

Question: Is it just me, or are some of these callouts clear on the other side of the map? I was taking care of one callout in downtown Los Santos, and got a 911 abuse call in Sandy Shores. Is this intentional?

That is an ongoing issue that I have, mainly due to me not wanting to reduce performance of the callout pack by checking each possible spawn location, and comparing which one is the closest to the player's current position. I am thinking of other ways to do it, so no it's not intentional, its a "bug" if you like.

There are more locations coming for most of the callouts, especially the 911 call abuse one, however currently there still are callouts both in the city and the country for each type of incident.

I believe thats becuase you don't have Search Warrant installed. I will try to add a check system to the plugin so that people without search warrant installed wont experience crashes. Sorry about that.

Suspect.Inventory.GiveNewWeapon("WEAPON_KNIFE", 1, true);
Suspect.Metadata.searchPed = "~r~A knife~w~";

These lines are what is causing your crash.

Not having search warrant installed doesn't make anything crash as it uses .metadata, read the guys log, it clearly says that it crashed because the ped was invalid.

I have Search Warrant installed.

This can't be the problem, but the log say the ped was invalid.

I suppose if the callout is too far, I can choose to ignore it. But it being out of jurisdiction is a touch on the unrealistic side for the sticklers. Either way, two thumbs up for these callouts.

Yeah ,it must be with GTA randomising the ped before spawning, so Ill have to add a list or something with common peds that everyone should have installed.

Fixed that issue as of v2.0.0.0 which I'm releasing today. It will take some time for the moderators to review before the file is released to the public though.
