About This File

Florida Highway Patrol has introduced a new vehicle to their fleet. So I introduce to you a new vehicle for your fleet.

A 2016 Dodge Charger with the newly designed Florida Highway Patrol ghost skin.

Features:

  • Alloy wheels.
  • Optional spotlight variations.
  • Fully functional CenCom Sapphire module.
  • Wrap around rambar... FHP style.
  • Custom Rear License Plate (Change the text & Type of plate)

To be honest, I'm more of a New York style lighting guy, but I figured, why not go with an artificial FHP vehicle... Enjoy.

Please don't ask me how to install this. It's very simple, just re-name the file and the ELS and place it in your GTA stuffs.

And as for the NY license plate. It's a mod. I like NY, and it's what I prefer to see in my game. Don't rate it due to a mod that changes my license plates. Thanks.

There is not a single thing wrong with this charger! I'm not a fan of blue lighting without a bit of red, but this model changes that!

Everything about this model is absolutely amazing. It is exactly what I have been waiting for and as soon as I put it in my game, it was hard for me to take it out!

I don't care what people say when it comes to FHP, this is still outstanding and will use every time.

Everything XMod said, but to add more, the screenshots he posted, were my models.

The screenshot he posted was not the ghost car, model wise, it just had a livery that was custom made for the ghost. If you mention that you've done research to get the model accurate, provide sources and state some of the "research" done. The ghost cars in real life do not have full interior bars, they have the Code3 Headliner light module in the front window. The car that XMod posted pictures of is my model recreating the 2016 Slicktop Chargers, it is not missing any modules, and while some of the modules could be better textured or modeled, they are all, one hundred percent accurate to the real life cars, as a trooper is helping me make them based on his cruisers lol. Some of the cruisers in FHP may vary, no state agency is going to have the exact setup on every single car, it's just not realistic, sometimes they didn't install a specific module or something changed over time.

If you want this car to be accurate, take out the full interior bar, throw a headliner in, and change the inner edge in the back to be a WingMan Flex. The modules on the back panel near the plate are also inaccurate, they should be Code3, not Whelen and rather than four of them, they are two that are split modules.

With that aside, being the guy making the FL Pack, I honestly think you didn't do half bad, i've seen people absolutely butcher FL, I once butchered FL lol. Thing is, even if my model is more accurate, you're actually releasing stuff, good on you for that. I saw effort in this model and that's really what matters, something people hate the most in this community is when people put little effort into a model and throw it out there half working and never touch it up, this appears to work fine, and isn't that bad, just offering some constructive criticism.

Response from the author:

I completely understand where you're coming from. As far as modules and all that go, FL has such dark tint on their windows that it's quite hard to make out lighting. I was going off of videos / pictures I have seen of the vehicle / FL slicktop lighting setups. So as far as modules, this is the best it's gonna get for me.

And as far as XMod's post, I did not mean to put down your work, if that's what it sounded like. Your forum post with the FL cars is legit, and the vehicles you make, I'm sure we can tell a lot of time and effort were dumped into them.

As much as I value your opinion, there isn't too much I'll be doing with this vehicle. I have seen your FL work, but it isn't public, as far as I'm aware, so I just decided it would be decent to release something that looked somewhat like this FL ghost unit. That and this ghost unit looks badass, tbh.

Thanks for your feedback.

Being a FL Highway Patrol Trooper I must say this is all wrong. Everything about this is completely unrealistic. We don’t even use Chargers. Where is the Ghost Prius’?! Geeeezzzz! Do your research first! ........... Lol all jokes aside, AMAZING model my friend. I’m definitely going to be downloading and using this! Since they won’t give me this in real life, I’ll use it all I want in game 😂😂😂👍

You tried.. but it's really bad.. not to even mention you used a Setina for it. Wrong rear deck, wrong interior lighting, missing antennas, use ION's on the rambar, and use a Westin wraparound, wrong spotlight, missing interior console textures, wrong console, dashcam clips through interior deck, missing front rambar IONs, and plenty more errors.. I recommend making this a lore friendly model.

I'm not sure if you were trying to make a fictional Florida vehicle or what.

If you were trying to match FL it should look something like these.

Response from the author:

You are correct on all of the errors you posted. It helps and the vehicle will undergo changes within the next few days to fix the errors. Thank you.

As for the screenshots you sent, that charger is not correct either, missing lights, have incorrect light modules, incorrect texturing, a spotlight (I made an optional variant, FHP doesn't use spotlights on their ghost units) and have the incorrect flash pattern, from the looks of it.

Thank you for your review, I appreciate you taking the time out to actually write about all of the issues I neglected to see.

Honestly, who cares if its accurate or inaccurate. I can care less about what the interior looks like, what rambar it uses. I'm just here to enjoy LSPDFR. It's not like this charger will every be produced in real life and used on patrol. I love this model either way.

Anyways, I made the ghost skin posted below and hell even I gotta go back and finalize some stuff but yeah your model needs ALOT of work bud. At least model wise, I fuck with the fact that you're out here making stuff for FL but it needs more effort. My real issue is actually this bullshit :

Anyways, take another shot at it, take more time on it, etc.

Like the effort and good model but just as everyone else said its not accurate to FHP... Is that a New York plate I see??? Come on!

I'd just change up the skin a but and make it a San Andreas State Trooper car.

Response from the author:

Actually, it is quite accurate to FHP. I have done my research and it is quite accurate, minus the things @xMoD said.

And you see New York places, because those are the textures I chose to have in my game, they have nothing to do with the vehicle. That is showing you can add FL plates, and change the plate text to whatever you want, something I do with all of my vehicle releases.

GREAT looking car!! I personally love Dodge Charger and the Challenger. However, I'm having some issues with the lighting - it's not working! Total blackout!!! Mind you, I have other cars using ELS and these work fine!

Saying that! I simply use the car no matter.
