About This File

New callouts:  Heist Attempt, Assassination Attempt, Bombing Attempt

Improved existing callouts: Rape Attempt, Kidnapping Attempt, Car Theft Attempt, Arson Attempt

Integrated with Court Case from LSPDFR+.

INSTALLATION:

  1. Copy the contents of "Plugins\LSPDFR" in this package to: "GTA V directory\plugins\LSPDFR"
  2. Copy the contents of "LSPDFR\Police Scanner" in this package to:  "GTA V directory\LSPDFR\Police Scanner"

Note: Please do the same installation step when you're upgrading from previous version of AC callouts, because there might be some new files added.

CALLOUTS:
1. Rape Attempt Callout
You will meet the rape attempt victim and interact with her in several ways

2. Kidnapping Attempt Callout
You will approach a kidnapping suspect in several ways:
     - directly pursuit the suspect and arrest/kill him
     - perform traffic stop and ask him to step outside the car with a few scenarios

3. Car Theft Attempt Callout
You will arrive at the scene and watch how the suspect perform his action to steal a car and apprehend him with a few possible outcomes

4. Arson Attempt Callout
You will meet an angry guy who is ready to scorce fire. Please stop him before bad things happen!
5. Heist Attempt Callout
A group of people made a heist plan to rob a bank. You must stop them!

6. Assassination Attempt Callout
A citizen saw a "Hitman"-like agent tried to kill someone. Find him and prevent the assassin in his action!

7. Bombing Attempt Callout
Someone is carrying an object which looks like a bomb. Find and stop him if he planned to explode it!

If you have LSPDFR+ by Albo 1125 installed, the callout will automatically register a new court case when you arrest the suspect.
There are multiple spawn locations for each callouts and also multiple suspect reactions, which mean you can have tenth of different callout combinations.

Any critique or input are welcomed since this is still early version of this callout and my first attempt to develop a GTA5 plugin.

Please feel free to contact me through LSPDFR forum for any issue you encountered with this callout plugin.

I'm open to any ideas from you guys for more callouts and scenarios. Happy patroling! Enjoy!

The concept for this callout is good. The idea of stopping a crime before it occurs is a vital part of police work.  I also like how it ties into Albo1125's plugins. With that being said, I have noticed a few problems. One of them is that the custom questioning  in the kidnapping callout replaces the default questions in LSPDFR+  instead of just adding the three questions to supplement them. PeterUCallouts informed me that the "kidnapper", who had the last name Johnson, had an odor of marijuana. I could not question him on the marijuana due to the three questions replacing the default ones, so I just drugalyzed him. That's not realistic because it looked like I just decided to test him for drugs without asking for consent or notifying him beforehand. On the "Attempted Rape" callout, it would be nice if I could question the victim to get a description of her attacker so that I could arrest him and bring him to justice. Right now, there are only the three choices of taking her home in your police car, calling a taxi or arresting her.  The kidnapping callout also has contradictory instructions. The prompt told me to respond Code 3, but when getting to the location of the vehicle, it warned me that sirens can spook the suspect.  Code 3 requires lights and sirens. A better set of instructions would be to either  respond Code 2 or to find the suspect without spooking them.

Conclusion: Good concept, but it needs better execution.

I am definitely giving this callout package a 5 star.  For many reasons.

1. Incredibly stable.  Not one single crash!

2. Light Weight, no frame loss
3. Enough variety to make your gameplay fun!
4. The calllouts are fun to work with, doesn't always end the same way.

5. Callout text at bottom of screen actually use proper grammar!

This is a cool new set off call outs. They seem to generate in the Vinewood area. but it requires investigation and man hunt skills! Plenty of surprises and it keeps you on your toes. Is he a perp or not. If the intentions are clean you let em go, but if it goes south gotta bring da noise!

Awesome Callout! Only thing that i would recommend is tying in BetterEMS for the Rape Attempt Ambulance. For me, all the Ambulance does is warp around the area and stops the Rape Attempt from working, as it will hit the victim, causing the driver of the Ambulance to drive off and crash the Callout on occasion.

I really love this mod, it brings so much more joy to LSPDFR and i hope you make more callouts for it, like something for our Detective skills :P

I hope you never censor the peds you use, it brings more realism to the gameplay.

Thank you.

Great work! Love the callouts but I do have a few suggestions. A lot of the dialogue situations are very repetitive, while you don't have to add different situations you can still add more dialogue. That way every time you talk to someone they don't say the same thing as they did last time. Also, I think that youtubers and streamers would greatly appreciate an option in the .ini to censor parts of your callouts. Also, have you considered adding an attempted suicide or attempted robbery callout?

It's a fun pack, but I'd like to see some more player freedom and different outcomes. For example:

When I decide to let the van from the "Attempted Heist Callout" go with a warning, due to a lack of evidence to detain them, it doesn't let me end the callout and keeps the blip and line on the map, like I have to arrest them every single time, with no room for RP'ing something different. Maybe you could do something about that?

I was a little hesitant with these because of the callouts included, however after trying them really liked them:

These are some cool scenarios. I particularly like the kidnapping case. One change it could use is the victim be taken to the hospital instead of home. That would seem a little more realistic than calling a cab for them.

Very nice work though.

Love this concept as it has SOO much potential with all the crimes people could attempt to pull off.  Great basic callout pack that let's you focus on preventative police work instead of showing up after the fact. (I also agree with the poster below about needing a code 2 response)

Glad I could help you with the Arson callout as it is one of my favs so far in the pack, I look forward to what else we can come up with to make attempted crimes a MUST have for LSPDFR.
