San Andreas Record Data Access System (SARDAS) 1.6.1

   (16 reviews)

4 Screenshots

Hello LSPDFR community!

Today I'm releasing a new plugin/application. This is the San Andreas Record Data Access System - SARDAS for short. It's a Windows application you can run on a computer in real-life that will allow full access to ped/vehicle records, IN GAME!

This is a combination of a RagePluginHook/LSPDFR plugin, to access the ingame data, and a Windows application to run on any other computer that accesses the API provided by the plugin. You will be able to access any ped/vehicle records from any computer connected to the same network!

The SARDAS-unified zip contains the plugin, client app, and API documentation. There is also a seperate zip download for each individual part.

Please make sure to read the README - this plugin is somewhat more complicated than most, due to its nature (Networking is tough!). Please read the README!!!

Localhost only if you have the client on the computer where GTA is installed.

If you have the client on a laptop, you have to take the ip of the computer.

I'm curious if it works. =)

Thats right...but when i press login, nothing happenes.

I'm sure the author will fix this. =)

Just fyi I just installed the client on my gaming pc and it works.

When I try to use it on my toughbook is when I have issues. We need some sort of an ultimate fix for firewall/finsing out if something is conflicting or what

@sloosecannon Any way you can help out? Spending my entire morning trying to figure out if I should forward my ports of whatever I need to do to get this thing working. Can you step in and see what might be causing this issue where the program does not open or do anything after doing everything else correctly and just expecting it to open? Very excited to see how this works

SORRY DID NOT MEAN DO DOUBLE POST.......

The best way to figure out if it's your firewall is to disable the firewall on both the client and gaming PC , and try it then. Obviously this is a terrible idea in practice, and once you've figured out if it's the firewall's fault you should turn it back on, but that's the easiest way to do it.

@sloosecannon @Bouwen @DutchXarms Just FYI I just tried it on my girls pc, (so stoked that I can just ask her to run a name haha she won't), I did turn off firewall and allow everything and the port, I think the server is down or it's something we all need to make sure we do with the gaming pc..

My gaming pc is hard wired. I have my laptop wired and wirelessly connected. I have tried separately in all methods to no avail

Yeah, for some reason, some configurations are causing an error I never saw when building it. So I'll have to figure out what's causing that

Figured out the problem @Markadaliah, @Bouwen, and anyone else who was having issues. One of my dependencies changed their API on me, so when I updated it changed behavior slightly. I should have a fixed version up today.

I tried it, it lets me into the application but it gives me the error "The version of the plugin is newer than the version of the client. Errors may occur." Did you maybe forget to package the 1.6.1 client? @sloosecannon

UUUUUUPPPDDATTTEEEEE

AAAAAAAAANNNNDNDNNDNDNDNDNDNDNDND DAH DUH DUH DAHHHH it mostly works. Sometimes I get funky name checks but it's new.

I was able to get it working the first time, after a headache process of getting LSPDFR running and would say for the initial release, not bad.  I do have to say, not sure if its possible, but I was expecting something more along the lines of a more realistic MDT.  Other than that, like I said, for an initial release, not bad

Heh, nope, but I did forget to update the version string in the client. Oh well. That warning won't hurt anything

How do I get the database screen to show up in game?

At the moment I have to minimise GTA V and then use the database then go back into GTA V.

Any ideas?

Well...... the point of this is for it to be out of game, specifically on another computer :)

If you want in-game, computer+ does this and more - this version is specifically designed to be used out-of-game to enhance roleplay experience if you have a spare laptop lying around or something

How do I disable default LSPDFR plate search option?

I would really appreciate if someone can tell me.

I don't think you can, unfortunately. LSPDFR usually doesn't allow configuration of stuff like that.

@sloosecannon I cant get this to work. I go on-duty and open up the client, type in login info and everytime i click login an error comes up that says this program has stopped working. Ive tried messing with the firewall and same problem keeps happening.

Hey, great plugin, not a single problem during installation, didn't even have to open ports since it's LAN. I encountered two problems, however, while using it. First one is more of stylish than problem. Application is like 20 pixels bigger than available screen on my notebook. I have standard 15.6" notebook with standard resolution of 1366x768px. With Windows 10 taskbar 80% of Logout and Settings buttons aren't visible. Second one is related, I guess, to an instance of server. After LSPDFR crashed I had to restart game because SARDAS was constantly crashing. In log I could see it was due to network connections and ports and since it's only part using those services it must be it.

Once again great plugin. When you fix those things I'll give you positive review.
