I know I said I'm done redoing old stuff, but I'm serious this time, as this should be the final upload of this pack until new base models get released.

An absolute rework, featuring 22 vehicles, multiple new units, an insanely good CVPI base by RobertTM, brand new units such as the traffic CVPI, 13 and 16 FPIU K9 units, plus an unmarked Caprice and FPIS. Oh, and did I mention that it now utilizes a hybrid system to allow more accurate patterns and lights to move with doors?

INSTALL (YOU WILL NEED TO USE THE DLC!!!! THERE IS NO REPLACEMENT WITHOUT EDITING A SHIT TON OF META FILES)

 

 

 


This pack will only contain a DLC option. There a various .metas that are required for the vehicles to function properly. 

 

You will need a gameconfig file for limitless vehicles. I recommend this:

NEXT

 

Go here:
D:\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\x64\dlcpacks

Paste the entire "Olathe" folder containing the DLC into here

Navigate here : 

D:\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data

Find your dlclist.xml, left click edit, scroll to the bottom

Copy this line. The one right here : <Item>dlcpacks:/Olathe/</Item>

Paste that in the bottom, following the same format as all the other entries. 

Install your necessary ELS files in the normal place.

 

If you follow these instructions, and don't fuck anything up, you're good to go. 

PLEASE MAKE A GOD DAMN BACKUP, IM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BREAK YOUR SHIT. 

I know these might be a little harsh for some people, but if you saw my DM's after this kind of stuff you would understand. That's partly why I never release.

FAQs:

My lights are dim-
You need to install a light enhancing mod
 

Make it replace instead of DLC-

No. These vehicles require special metas the average person won't know how to add. This is the easiest way.

 

Change something for my personal taste-

No. These vehicles are designed to be as realistic as possible and with my taste. If you don't like it, make something yourself.

 

Change it to Los Santos instead of Olathe-

No. I plan on splitting Los Santos into multiple different agencies, and have no intention of having 3 or 4 "Los Santos PDs" in my game.


XYZ is wrong-

I've done countless days of research on these vehicles, and unless you have direct access to these vehicles, I probably know better. If anything is wrong, it is due to a lack of information or GTA limitations, such as parts or ELS limitations.

    It's a hybrid system, meaning ELS and non-els are required for it to work. The patterns are too complex for solely one or the other. For example, lights that are attached to the doors on the 16+ FPIUs, Tahoes and Charger would require 8 parts in order to flash properly and move with the door being opened instead of simply floating like on the old version of the pack. However, ELS is limited to only 9 extras that can flash. While non-els is limited to 20 sirens, it  is impractical to attach lights from differing locations on the vehicle.

     

    An example of this would be the patterns on the Tahoes, with the front lighting on the valor being a non-els pattern too complex for ELS, and the taillights using up 4 sirens which would ruin the pattern if they were attached to an ELS part.

    youre actually so extra for including like 5 different tahoes and explorers but thank you because tahoes and explorers are sexy and all the different variations makes this pack one of the most comprehensive addons ive seen

     

    and thank you for the reflective ghosts (ghosts are always a plus 😍) and all the alprs/nonalprs versions give perfect variety for customizing my agency addons for ai patrols 

     

    **also you're daddy for being one of the very few to debadge the back of (FINALLY) and replace tires on georgies tahoes  😩😩

    It was determined in my discord that this (as well as any potential issues with non-els lighting) is most likely caused by a conflict with another DLC, particularly ones with 13 FPIUs, as this uses a base different from most 13 FPIUs available (meaning handling lines could cause issues). The easiest fix for this is to remove other DLCs or edit the handling.xml and vehicles.meta to change the name on any 13 FPIUs in one of the packs.

    Ah ok, so there is a fix on this issue. Thought there is this inverse handling and nobody knows how to eliminate that. I have already a tutorial on this issue posted.

    I tried making a custom livery for it, but when I open the game, the base color is set to matte. Any fix for it? I installed the vehc mesh that's included in the file but still no luck. Would appreciate any help

    Quick Question. A good number of the lights on all the vehicles seem to be in the wrong location or just don't work all together(Emergency Lights). Is there any recommendations to fixing this?

    Either you tried to replace vehicles instead of installing the DLC, or the DLC is conflicting with other DLCs, in which case you need to remove the other DLCs until determining which ones conflict with it.
