SENORA VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT 1.0
By Cartres
A fictional law enforcement department for LSPDFR and GTA V.

OVERVIEW:

The Senora Valley Police Department is a law enforcement agency staffed and managed by the Blaine County Sheriff's Office, and is responsible for all law enforcement responsibilities in the greater Senora region. This includes, but is not limited to, Harmony, Grapeseed, Sandy Shores, Zancudo and Mount Vinewood region (near the Vineyards). While this department is fictional, the vehicles are designed to adhere to Massachusetts State Law, and the skins (designed by Getinmybelly) are based off of Dupont Police.  This department is designed to appear like many less wealthy departments across the United States, wherein older vehicles are used for longer periods of time with recycled parts. As such, the lighting on these vehicles is dated with colored lenses and fewer surface-mounted lights across the vehicles.

Players looking for 'Christmas Trees' using the newest equipment should look elsewhere. Please read the credits for a full outline of not only the parts I used, but the people that helped me get here.

ELS & Non-ELS Hybrid

It is true that this pack utilizes ELS and Non-ELS to create magnificent and beautiful lighting effects in the environment, as well as to enable more variety with the flash patterns. By default, the Non-ELS lights are set to activate on Light-Stage 2, but this can be modified in the VCFs if you wish. Modifying the metas or names of these vehicles can cause the non-ELS lights to malfunction, leaving most of the lights either dysfunctional or totally inoperable.

THIS PACK INCLUDES:

SHERIFF: 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with Whelen Liberty I, Halogen Takedowns

SHERIFF2: 2014 Chevrolet Tahoe Police with Whelen Liberty I, LED Takedowns

BCPD4: 2010 Dodge Charger Pursuit with Whelen Liberty I, LED High-Intensity Takedowns

PLANNED UPDATES:

- Bug fixes as necessary.

KNOWN ISSUES:

- None

Disclaimer:

I am still learning, and I am by no means perfect. I welcome all feedback, bug reports, and issues with the files. Please understand that while I will attempt to help anyone that has difficulties installing these vehicles, I cannot control your PC, and I cannot always promise a fix. I offer no support to those who attempt to modify the files.

FAQs:

Q: How do I activate the takedowns and the spotlights?
A: Spotlights are tied to the highbeams, takedowns are tied to ELS.

Q: Can these be used in different vehicle slots?

A: Yes, but please read the readme carefully for instructions.

Q: Can you modify this pack to include red and blue lighting?

A: Under no circumstances will I be including a red/blue option for this pack.

Q: What permissions do I have for this pack?
A: You can use it for single-player until your heart is content, but under no circumstances can you use this pack for FiveM.

Q: May I have access to the templates to change the liveries?
A: You can find the templates for these vehicles in Underwood's DEV Downloads for the Tahoe and Crown Victoria.

SENORA VALLEY POLICE DEPARTMENT PACK 1.0
By Cartres
A Fictional Law Enforcement Department based upon Dupont Police and Massachusetts Law Enforcement

THANKS TO:
SoCalThero & Dewey for their patience with instructing me on my first steps in GTA V modeling so many months ago. Without them, I wouldn't have completed my first car.
GeorgieMoon, Desmond98, CJ24, Carper, Kane104, EVI, Matt-I-P, OfficerFive0, and ISPfan12 for their advanced knowledge and teachings. They are a font of knowledge unlike anything the GTA V community has seen, and we're better for it.
OfficerFive0, again, for his immense generosity with the sheer amount of parts given to me to use.
Turtle, for constructing the community within which I learned so much, surrounded by so many talented developers.

Key:
'Commissioned' denotes that I asked a developer to make a part that previously didn't exist in exchange for real money. Some of these parts are publicly available and can be released if asked for.
'Purchased for use' denotes a real money exchange between myself and other developer for a preexisting part.
'used with permission' denotes a private part that was shared with me by the developer with permission to use on a locked model.
Parts without these tags denote public availability.

I downloaded this pack shortly after it was released, and to this day I still stand by my comment about how this is one of the greatest packs released. For anyone wanting a sheriff dept. pack I will always recommend this pack. Incredible job!

I rotate a lot of packs for my other departments, I get bored with them or irritated by little things that takes me out of it, but this pack and your Paleto Bay pack are mainstays. The super realistic lighting and liveries, the attention to detail, phenomenal work all around.

I like this pack. The cars are very beautiful, and it's fun to use. The 2010 Charger has to be the best part. The ELS work is amazing, and it's what I would think of as a department ran by another department. 11/5, definitely a must-use for new players.

"I'm still learning and my cars aren't by any means perfect". Dude, believe in your talent! Your cars are upon the highest quality set and most beautiful cars on LSPDFR. They stand out not only with the worked on, REALISTIC, lighting but also with a good amoutn and quality of other assets in the interior as well as exterior of the car. The choice of vehicles is awesome and I love to patrol in them. Keep going, I'm looking forward to Boston PD and many other projects to come in order to save this community from being suffocated by a wave of low quality models and bad work.

Thx a lot and until the next one,

Kucho

Response from the author:

Thank you so much dude! I'm excited to bring more stuff to the community in the future.

10/10 will use in every build of my GTA V/LSPDFR.

Your vehicles are what all modders should aim for. You're description is spot on and the vehicles are so aesthetically pleasing in game it blows my mind. I was skeptical about using vehicles built to look outdated until I saw them on the road. They truly steal the show.

I hope you continue to create vehicles because this is some of the best content available on this site.

----------------------------------------

UPDATE: Your vehicles are addicting! On a personal note, I've been experiencing a lot of texture loss and popping, with that being said, I still constantly want to play this game using your vehicles! Keep up the good work, I look forward to adding more of your vehicles to my game!

Response from the author:

So thankful for this review, your words are so appreciated! I'm glad the aesthetic I'm going for was convincing for you, especially since you started out as a skeptic!
