The newest addition to the CHP fleet, now also available for GTA V. 

 

Features:

Accurate Lighting
Accurate Equipment
The front and rear of the lightbar can be controlled independently

Animated  antenna

Reflective Decals

And a whole bunch of small details most of you will never notice

These cars require an unedited carvariation.meta to work properly!!!

If you do not have it, the yelp pattern will be messed up.


What's New in Version 1.1

- fixed dirt mapping

Base Model:

- Original vehicle model is 2015 Dodge Charger from Forza, edited into the 2018 Dodge Charger Pursuit by Matt with parts from FH3 and Gamemodels
- Seats, center mirror, shifter and dash edits modeled and done by Kane104 - commissioned by Ranger Rick
- Major help from EVI for digital dial information and help to get the dials working and his patience to help me
- Rear bumper diffuser modeled by Patrol 31 Normal edits by Steinberg
- AWD/Charger badge modeled by iansonwheels Converted to V by Matt
- AWD Steelies/Hubcap modeled by iansonwheels Converted to V by Matt
- Big thanks to Cj24 for beta testing the model and help with spec maps and normal maps and his overall knowledge of gta materials

    The red light is using the steady burn feature els has. You'll find it somewhere on the top in the xml file. But don't disable it, the whole pattern would be messed up.

    Ah okay. In Zmodeler name the light you want as a steady burn "extra_ten". Then Enable the feature in the xml file. Easy.

    Right. You can only remove the steady burn on locked cars by editing the xml file. But there is no way to add steady burns to a locked file.

    I was just wondering if there was any way to make the steady-burn red spotlight any brighter on the slicktop (polarbear) version of the charger? I looked through the ELS file and couldn't find anything because the light is not connected to the primary, secondary, or warning lights. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I love this pack!

    No, there is no easy way to increase the brightness of the spotlight. You could theoretically edit the texture to make it a little bit brighter but I wouldn't do that.

    how to turn on the extra12 fence? I tried extra12 in TRUE in the VLS file but it didn’t appear. I wish all Dodge Chargers had a rear seat fence.

    Extras are controlled by some .meta file I guess. Changing the ELS files will not work.

    yeah the extras in the xml file just control if ELS will make the extra appear or not, sometimes for example a rambar flashes on and off like the lights cause its ELS controlled but to turn on extras you go into the police station and go to components
