FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Q: Why r ur lights so shiny pls help :(

A: I use RadianceV to make my lights bright, you will need something like this or another mod like it to make your lights as bright as mine.

Q: Can you please make an ELS pack for my own personal town?

A: Not even a little sorry bb

Q: X isn't working why?

A: You may be doing something wrong, or I may have fucked something up. If you do find a bug or have a question please comment with a screenshot or video to give me a better idea of what is wrong and I will get back to you.

Q: My lightbar and windows are tinted :(

I try to fix those but sometimes it still happens. Go into vehicles.metafind the line that says diffusetint for the model and find the diffusetint value and replace the value with this<diffuseTint value="0x00FFFFFF" />

Please do not redistribute this pack, or any part of it including the liveries, or models, or screenshots, or use them in clans or public/private servers. Please do not upload this file or a part of it to any other site unless given explicit credit. Thanks for downloading ;) Please report the bugs in the comments before posting a review about them, it may be a misunderstanding or just an easy fix. Enjoy!

All blue lights available for these!?!??!? if so, instant download.

Someone just made the edits and it’s in the visual portion on the downloads page. Hope this helps.

This may or may not be a problem. I just realized that only the CVPI has the three different light modes. With the other 8, however, they only do code 3 lights.

You will have to go into each ELS XML file and change it from Euro to Manual.

Once again, a great pack. i have 2 problems with the vehicles ingame.

    1. The '15 Tahoe has a fully tinted lightbar.

    2. All ligtbars have a wierd blue plate on top of the red side of the lightbar.

you have to edit the vehicles.meta to remove the tint. Also, that 'blue plate' does look weird but it's apparently a solar panel. I'd rather not have it there either

I do too. We don't have Explorers out here without spotlights. Unfortunately, we can't put that in the review or it gets deleted (which seems to defeat the purpose of reviews). Lol.

You are supposed to review the quality of the work done, not the work that you want to see, add, subtract or were hoping to get....

and gonna actually reply to @billiarboy review as well...

Some police vehicles, just like the North Carolina Highway Patrol ones, do not have any spotlights actually. This goes the same for pushbars / rambar components on the front of their vehicle. I've noticed that even in my state, New York, the NYSP does not use any camera equipment either. So there are some law enforcement vehicles that do not have certain equipment compared. One reason is that the departments are not able to afford that type of equipment, including any extraneous radars such as ALPR's and Speed ones, etc.  We have to think about this realistically. I know it's just LSPDFR and GTA, but sometimes making things different idealistically makes the gameplay immersive. Makes you feel that you're using something different. However, as an alternative, takedowns could be used compared to spotlights sometimes.

but police vehicles in California DO have spotlights, two of them and san andreas is based on California ....los santos=los angeles   blaine county=imperial, ventura and I am fully aware that there are some without them but that's mostly in Canada and last I checked los santos is not based in Canada or anywhere else but the places I named...it is so frustrating to see a lack of California cars on here it gets to the point where I don't even want to play this anymore because its the same random cars and very little choices to choose from when trying to fill the slots with the correct cars, either people don't have the balls to make California stuff or they are clueless as to what the real life counter parts are in the game

You're right, JT. No doubt that San Andreas clearly represents the state of California. However, think of those who might use New York State Police vehicles in their game. Think of those who might use even other state departments in their games. If modelers are going to make the real-life departmental vehicles, they would make it 'up to par' realistically. So once people play the game with the different departments, the idea of California equalling San Andreas automatically turns tables. Suppose the 'different department' was the North Carolina Highway Patrol. Therefore, the gameplay now turns tables too, so you'd have to patrol without spotlights, push bars, and dash cameras. [no one is going to make NCHP without push bars if they ever modeled and textured an entire pack for it].

So suppose that Maurice97 wanted to ideally make a difference in innovating the realism. Maybe he thought: "Oh, you know... a lot of people's lore friendly models ALWAYS include spotlights. Maybe I should make it to where this type of lore friendly department can't afford any spotlights since it's super costly and they could use takedowns instead".

Gotta love people who don't actually make any cars/peds etc. but come on here demanding stuff and calling people out as if people get paid hourly for the content they put out. If you want certain content, make it yourself or go pay someone to do it for you. :whistling: Anyway I love the texture on the newer style charger, great job!

I see both sides. Some can be demanding as customers can be sometimes. But I also see how 'developers' can come off a little arrogant and smug. It doesn't make for a friendly forum environment. That's just my observation anyway.
