Los Santos Police Service Mega-Pack [ELS]

(A Toronto Police Service style brought to the LSPD)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Information:

Happy Late Easter Everyone!

After 6 months of blood, sweat and pure enraging anger, I'm pleased to present you guys with the Los Santos Police Service Mega-pack. Styled off Toronto Police Service, the pack features a custom made Excalibur light bar which features a dual rotor in the centre, which has dual colour to it (and coronas to match!). And of course, the traffic units in the pack feature TPS style arrowboards. This pack is big enough to cover and reduce many crime types across Los Santos, and includes divisions such as Patrol, Traffic, Slicktop/Unmarked, Emergency Task Force, and Marine.

It's been a long road but it's finally here. Hope you all enjoy.

This pack contains:

  • 2010 Ford Crown Victoria - Patrol vehicle
  • 2010 Ford Crown Victoria - Traffic vehicle
  • 2010 Ford Crown Victoria - Slicktop/Unmarked vehicle
  • 2014 Charger - Patrol vehicle
  • 2015 Charger - Patrol vehicle
  • 2016 FPIS - Patrol vehicle
  • 2016 FPIS - Slicktop/Unmarked vehicle
  • 2016 FPIU - Patrol vehicle
  • 2016 FPIU - Traffic vehicle
  • 2010-13 Silverado - Marine vehicle
  • 2013 Tahoe - Emergency Task Force (ETF) vehicles

Features:

  • Custom light bars
  • Custom carcols
  • Toggleable extras
  • Compatible with my other packs
  • 4k liveries & 2k liveries available

This pack has various toggleable extras:

  • All vehicles: Rambar (extra_12),

These can be toggled on/off in any trainer.

This file contains ARROW BOARDS on two of it's vehicles. The key's for this are: 'Alt + [' for the arrow boards to be raised. Press it again for them to lower. Standard 'K' key for the lights (as default).

If you want to see what the lighting looks like before downloading, here's a promo video:

I have written a guide on how to get the rotors working in 2020 if you find you can't get them to work:

Also, I've here is a file to help convert rotors and LEDs to all blues:

Known Bugs:

  • Vehicles with arrowboards (Traffic units) can cause R* editor to crash if it's used during the recording. Having the board either up or down when recording should not crash the editor.

Honestly this pack looks really nice, I love everything about it, but the rotators/lightbar components seem to be buggy.

If there is a way to fix that let me know anyone I'd use this pack if It was not a issue 😁

Response from the author:

Hey Mag,

This pack is over 5 years old, and the lighting may be buggy due to GTA updates.

However, as posted in the description, there is a link to a guide to attempt to help you fix these:

Posting a review with 2* on an old pack, without checking the guide on how to fix things, and without contacting myself or asking in the comments how to fix this, seems a little unfair.

Looks good but the lightbar of FPIU and Tahoe '13 light are red behind the lightbar and blue on the front...

I love this pack. The Mini Excalibur looks amazing, along with the actual Excalibur models, and the arrow boards are basically perfection! Very good job Jedahdiah.

Okay. I have so, so, SO much to say about this pack.

This is hands down the freaking BEST LSPD pack out there. The arrow boards? Fu*king BADASS. My favorite feature, for sure. This is one beast of a pack. Why isn't it more popular? Everyone needs a little Rotary light bar in their life because these are just amazing. They actually rotate, and when you turn them off, each individual rotating light saves their position.   Actually incredible.  You NEED to check this pack out. Give it a try, you might fall in love, just like me.

Amazing job, keep up the great work dude.

Enjoy some screenshots as well 🙂

Sir, you are the master of rotors. I'm a fan of those in general and I tried them all. Hands down, you make the best rotors in the whole modding community. I salute you.

Seriously, your models are the only ones that look like actual reflectors instead of rotating LED modules. I gave up on this long ago, but you did it! Great! 🙂

You nailed it. Using this pack since release and still love it. I replaced my ETF unit with something unmarked but for the rest I'm still getting my hands dirty with the other cars.

Thanks for the hard work on this, its awesome.

Amazing pack, I honestly don't know why I have not reviewed this yet!

The only suggestion I would have for this is a boat in the future to go along with the marine unit Silverado!

One of the best *COMPLETE* packs for someone like me, that wants a complete full package, only issue is that the FPIU has a broken trunk that won't stay closed. Besides that it would be a 5 star PERFECT pack for anyone looking to just have a highly detailed, thoroughly designed, police pack. Amazing job, I hope you continue to add and update it!

The red/white/blue scheme of these paint schemes adds a sense of pride and strength to LSPD in my opinion. And of course, the rotating lights look fantastic!

I couldn't decide between a couple of Jedahdiah's packs. So, I combined the marked 2010 Crown Vic and 2014 Charger from this pack with the FPIS and the Tahoe from from his Los Santos Police Department (Atlanta PD Inspired) to create the image of a city PD that is experiencing growth.

As such, Los Santos is now modernizing its fleet with new models, emergency equipment, and liveries. Though the white primary paint is a classic look, the transition to the blue combines a touch of the modern while keeping a callback to earlier days.

the time and effort put in is tremendous but there is a few things that are keeping it from being perfect one the rotor light bar doesn't spin fast enough so its kinda got this old school feel to it if you have seen a Toronto police car lately u would know that when they turn there lights on the rotors almost move so fast it sorta creates a flash effect these dont do that they just kinda noticeably spin in a circle. (if u could tell me how i can edit that it be great) 2, the rear lights in rear windows are not correct style TP use a skinny led light (roughly 4 large led's or 6 small ones) the ones used are short and thick. 3 there's some small textural issues on a car or two with colours in wrong place (not that noticeable) and last some of the cars (i think just the crown vic) you can see the light under the car like flashing on pavement under the car that shouldn't happen.

but honestly its thew closest you could get to TPD in gta v and im not a fan of rotors but im a Torontonian soo i obviously have to use this but it be great if you could tell me how to get rotors to spin faster / flash (the current Toronto cars it looks like they spin and flash hard to tell)

overall tho great job just them light bars bug me a little
