What's New in Version 1.1.0

Released

- Added 2015 Police Tahoe PPV

- Fixed a few interior bugs on the CVPI

- Edited the VCFs so they no longer have amber emissives/environmental lighting.

- Updated templates

- Random lighting bug fixes not too big

- Edited several MIFs to include credits I forgot

- Edited VCF titles

- Couldnt update the handling, couldnt find a good one :(

    Hi ladies. So now that ScriptHook has updated it's release time. This is a pack I have been working on for the better part of the last month in a half, and I am actually very proud of it. The pack is based on Fort Worth, but the actual cars are not accurate to those, just the liveries, window templates, and lightbar are equal to Fort Worth and some of the pushbar setups.     I'm now having this same problem the lightbar is not working on top.  I played the other day with no problem but got on today and the only thing that lit up and flashed was the taillights. Maybe I messed something up but I don't know.

    You may have replaced or deleted the VCF, Do the other extra lights flash? like the deck lights and grill lights, if not you may be using the wrong VCF.

    Sorry dude, its a problem with the actual ELS not your vehicles in particular. For anyone else having problems they need to go to Open IV and disable all of the ASI loaders and then re-enable and restart their computer, that's what worked for me. By the way nice pack man! @t0y

    I fixed this by changing "LodCoronaInitDistance" to 999999 in gtav > ELS config settings. Worked for me..

    I've saved a skin for the F350 as a JPEG and renamed it f350_sign_2 but the skin menu still says -1 skins and I can't change it. Works on every other vehicle. 

    I've even tried replacing sign 1 but it still reverts to the original even though it was deleted from the dictionary to see if my skin would work.

    It should be renamed to Template, i forgot to edit the material name in the Z3D file to sign_x

    Yes, I believe you can just hit replace with it selected in the ytd and it will replace it and automatically name it Template.

    Good job on releasing this pack, but the lack of takedown/scene lights on the tahoe is really killing me. It makes the lightbar look broken. With all due respect I would not consider this model pack complete - either make those ugly empty spots actual flashing LEDs (maybe whites, ambers, or just more red/blue), or make the TKDN/SCL work. There's dozens of models with working lights, I'm sure at least one modder could help you get them working.

     

    Also, the lightbar using four color shades instead of two looks kinda odd to me, but I understand that's because it uses two separate LED textures so it's not a big deal.

     

    Otherwise, good variety, and on the models I tested so far, the lighting is set up logically and you can turn off different parts of the vehicle with SECL/WRN rather than having it all be bunched up into LSTG3 which is great. LSTG2 is also set up correctly which is another +. There's not a ton of police equipment in the car, but enough to make it interesting.

     

    Will hit up with longer review once there's no update for a while

    I need Help! Can´t play when mod is installed. every time i Start a new game it crash´s to Desktop & report`s  game memory error.

    I use a mod folder

    My System:

    Intel i7 - 6700 CPU @ 3,40GHz

    16GB DDR4 Ram

    MSI Geforce GTX 1070 OC 6GB VRAM

    Hi, sorry about the takedowns/scene lights I had no idea how to activate takedowns so I just didnt include them, unfortunatly I wont be updating this pack unless there are any major bugs becausse I am working on something much bigger that will hopefully include everything you mentioned, with a different lightbar correctly mapped. Just wondering, I am pretty new to modeling and just the police equipment scene, what is the difference between takedowns and scene lights and how do you activate one or the other on ELS. I know TKD is ] but idk scene

    Hey,

     

    No need to apologize, it's just feedback and you're the one spending your time on it so thank you for that.

     

    Takedowns face out front of the car. Scene lights on cruisers will usually be located on the edge of either sides of the lightbar and be used to provide lightning on the left or right of the vehicle, or both (always both with ELS. You can also set it to project to the back of the vehicle). Not all lightbars have either option equipped, obviously. I'm guessing the one used in this pack does because of how it looks, but I could be wrong.

     

    Have you looked into the ELS documentation? there's a whole section that explains how to set up the dummy, and then for the VCF all you have to do is to enable the extra11 or 12 in EOVERRIDE, and enable either takedown lights or scene lights in the other section as appropriate. Scene lights are Alt-] I think? I bought a month of zmodeler3 to try this out myself, but havn't had a chance yet.

    Before I go home and try this out, does anyone know if this skin pack will work with these cars? I LOVE the car pack ... The skins are good, too ... just looking for some variety.
