2015 Christmas Tree Chevy Caprice 1.0

I was shocked to see someone had FINALLY released a Caprice. It's one of my favorite police vehicles and I'm glad someone finally released a decent one. I do however have a few minor complaints: 

1. The lightbar is my biggest complaint. The coronas on it are nice, but the lights themselves you can barely see. Maybe swap the lightbar out with a brighter, more visible one. The way it is now, the lights on it are hardly visible. 

2. The wheel texture (I think?) must be unevenly oval or something because when driving, the wheels spin unevenly. 

3. The two antennas in the back... they are somewhat annoying. I can see one moving antenna, but two gets a little bothersome. Maybe make them extras? 

4. The vehicle took a toll on my game and I noticed a slight performance drop while driving around with it. Poly size is VERY high. 

5. (doesn't have to do with the car, but thought you should know) The carvariations file is missing an "<Item>" at the top of the police3 section. 

Overall I think this car has great potential, and I really hope you continue to improve it and take some of our suggestions. Thank you for the one of a kind (really) model. 

Seeing as I have a PT test in the morning, I only had a few minutes to play around with this vehicle and test it out.

So far, I'm VERY happy to FINALLY have a Caprice! That being said.. as you stated, this is a Christmas tree. It has a lot of lights, in a few places that honestly don't make sense to me. I also have a few other things I'd like to see updated.

Here's what I'd like to see change lighting wise.

-replace the license plate frame lights with Whelen linear lights or similar. The frame lights just look terrible... sorry.

-remove 1 or 2 of the 3 lights on the "fender"

-keep the sound-off intersectors, but remove the lights on the mirror.

Making these lights into removable extras would be nice too, as I know some people may actually like the lights that I don't. Basically... I'd just like a realistic light setup. Lol

Other updates/additions I'd like to see:

-full visor lightbar

-make the pushbar an extra

-remove the badges near the door

-a version with street appearance wheels like these

Overall though, great work, and thank you for your contribution! I think I speak for everyone when I say I'm grateful to finally have a Caprice!

@72will, what a freaking amazing model love this car more then life now....so i have to show it....

- Pros

• Amazing to have a caprice out there
• Great intersection lightning something alot of modders fail doing

- Cons

• VERY high poly
• Shitty lightbar
• Weird wheel texture

- Improvments and what to change

• Remove the 2 lights on the side in the front of the car
• Remove the light ''stick'' that is facing forward on the pushbar and replace with something behind the grille or something
• Remove 1 of the antennas on the trunk and maybe put some more stuff on the roof
• Change those ugly ass licensplate lights on the back and replace with something like BXBugs has on his CVPI

Otherwise like ''SoarHawk'' said this car has great potential only if you change/add/remove a couple of stuff and this would be able to be up there with BXBugs, BlackJesus etc.

Long time coming but well worth the wait... Needs brighter lightbar....

CAPICEEEEEEEECE!!!!

The car i've been wanting in the game for months is finally here. The model is not the most accurate one out there, but hay, its pretty good and better then nothing

Very nice as always. But I bet this department could afford it: 

This is a good model that still needs some work. 

It's a great alternative to the Taurus and its nice to see this car in the game. The model is very clean.  Installed into patchday 11 in my sheriff slot and with some editing to meta and LODs had no issues. 

However there are some issues that need to be ironed out.

• All blue version (the one I downloaded) still has red coronas that need to be removed. Can see them very clearly at night in lightbar and in side mirror lights.
• In some areas on the map, the tires are off of the ground completely, making it look like the car is floating. 

Will happily revise review for any newer versions that address these issues.

I really enjoyed your caprice and greatly appreciate for  your efforts!

I'm not sure if other users reported but car tend to disappear from mid-distance.

And, light bar on the top of car seems to be fixed.

Looking forward to big updates!

Awesome car. Everything about is awesome and the issues I have are being addressed so no complaints! 

im giving it five stars cuz i have been waiting forever for this car and i know u will make it better over all it is good biggest complaint is some of the lights just dont look right but im confident this will be fixed in the future
