Seattle Police Department CVPI Mini Pack 1.0:

Patrol Unit 31609:

The car features an almost entirely accurate setup to the real life unit 31609 of the West Precinct of SPD. Features extra spawning rifles in the gun rack, and handcuffs on the spotlight.

Slicktop Unit 89197:

This unit can range from a slicktop unit, to a DUI Squad vehicle, to an unmarked unit. Slicktop variant is based off of Unit 89197 of the East Precinct.

Cars in use:

I plan on creating a full pack for seattle police department, so expect that sometime in the future :P

Addressing the LOD problem:

Some users seem to be seeing disappearing parts at short distances, while I am not experiencing this issue myself, I plan on updating the file with increased LOD distances on all parts. A way to cope with this issue until the file is updated is increasing the LOD high distance in your visualsettings.

Please do not message me with generic problems like the following:

  • 1. my lights aren't bright!!1!11 XD LOLZ
  • A. install radiance or edit your visualsettings bud
  • 2. HOW DO I INSTALL IT?
  • A. readthereadme.txt
  • 3. HOW DOES YOUR GAME LOOK BETTER THAN MINE!!//?!?1?/
  • A. I use Project Reload with custom edited timecycles, it's quite simple to install and looks nice, try it out!
  • 4. There are no wig wags?
  • A. I use the emergency strobes plugin, it's nice.

Cars themselves are fantastic. Very detailed, and very nicely done.

I am experiencing the LOD issues, and I have a GTX970 and all my graphics are maxed out. However, I noticed you did an update to the pack which probably solves that issue.

Anyway, looks great and it's good to see some PNW stuff :D

Damn sexy pack, well done! And another good thing is since I'm playing with Miami based skins at the moment the marked CVPI has the correct lightbar they use for a change :D

Very unique setup, great choice of emulating SPD. There definitely isn't an LOD problem, like some users have claimed.

Hi, These cars are pretty freakin cool

Pros

  • Really cool light setup for both
  • Chrome, lot's of chrome
  • Unique skins
  • Unique push bar
  • Pretty much everything

Cons

  • There is absolutely, without a doubt, a LOD problem as Schecter mentioned. I can confirm that even on maxed out settings*, it still disappears from fairly close, and is extremely noticeable in pursuits. It really takes away from the car, and I would love it if the LODs were done properly because that would make these cars absolutely perfect.

Other

  • It's really hard to find something other than "4K LAPD ARJENT TEXTURES/ MODEL" models currently, this car is certainly a start to the fix of that problem.
  • Overall these cars are really good looking and have really great emissive textures as well, which is always a plus.

Good work 5/5 is definitely deserved.

*Settings make little to no difference on car LODs, despite what one of the other reviewers seems to think.

Hey, that's pretty good! Nice job. I think you really nailed the accuracy.

There are no issues with the LODs like other users may have suggested. The user complaining of poor LODs must have his settings way the fuck down.

Well, i appreciate your effort to make something accurate.

But i was a little dissapointed, when i saw, that you hadn't work on the LOD's.

How come the front push bar lights are lighting up but at distance they show in white? Very nice back though love the skin and light setup.
