Seattle Police Department CVPI Mini Pack 1.0:

Patrol Unit 31609:

The car features an almost entirely accurate setup to the real life unit 31609 of the West Precinct of SPD. Features extra spawning rifles in the gun rack, and handcuffs on the spotlight.

Slicktop Unit 89197:

This unit can range from a slicktop unit, to a DUI Squad vehicle, to an unmarked unit. Slicktop variant is based off of Unit 89197 of the East Precinct.

Cars in use:

I plan on creating a full pack for seattle police department, so expect that sometime in the future :P

Addressing the LOD problem:

Some users seem to be seeing disappearing parts at short distances, while I am not experiencing this issue myself, I plan on updating the file with increased LOD distances on all parts. A way to cope with this issue until the file is updated is increasing the LOD high distance in your visualsettings.

Please do not message me with generic problems like the following:

  • 1. my lights aren't bright!!1!11 XD LOLZ
  • A. install radiance or edit your visualsettings bud
  • 2. HOW DO I INSTALL IT?
  • A. readthereadme.txt
  • 3. HOW DOES YOUR GAME LOOK BETTER THAN MINE!!//?!?1?/
  • A. I use Project Reload with custom edited timecycles, it's quite simple to install and looks nice, try it out!
  • 4. There are no wig wags?
  • A. I use the emergency strobes plugin, it's nice.

Awesome job on both cvpi. Is there any chance on putting a radar in the patrol unit?

The patrol unit is based on a real life one that doesn't have a radar in it, I may add it as an extra in the future possibly, thanks!

I cried when I saw this in the feed. Amazing pack finally something besides an Arjent or Liberty! Do you plan on releasing a variation of the vehicle with a honeycomb grille as well? I know it's not what Seattle uses, but maybe you could release it as something else? anyway, awesome pack!!

Thanks! I don't have much plans to make a variant with a honeycomb grill, but I may release something similar in the future. I appreciate your kind words, have a nice day.

very nice cars! like it was said before, its awesome to have a different lightbar instead of the liberty or arjent. I second the vote for a model with a honeycomb grille. could you make the passenger spotlight an extra if you release another model?

Thanks. And as for the spotlight, for another model sure, but these were going for accuracy towards the real life cars, which is why they weren't extra's.

oh yeah I absolutely understand your accuracy on these models and I commend you for it! the best ones are the ones that go for accuracy. I'm try to make my hometown cars and I'm going for the same type of accuracy, unfortunately zmodeler is kind of a b***h to figure out and its not going well lol

@TaylorSwift I sorta fixed your LOD problem. Thought i would share. Put this in the Vehicles.meta over the old values. It just makes the LOD distances fall off significantly further so you dont notice the issues

<lodDistances content="float_array">
        15.000000
        30.000000
        70.000000
        140.000000
        500.000000
        500.000000
      </lodDistances>

Since i changed the LOD distances in the vehicles.meta everything works fine. But i think the size of the bar is a bit too small. I compared it to pictures from real life car's and it seems inaccurate.
