DISCONTINUED & UNSUPPORTED - COMPATIBLE WITH OLDER LSPDFR VERSIONS ONLY - FEEL FREE TO HELP UPDATE THE CODE

Assorted Callouts is now open source. https://github.com/Albo1125/Assorted-Callouts

Thank you @55charlie for the awesome images!

With Assorted Callouts, my aim is to provide a varying experience, adding a range of differently-styled callouts for you to experience. They all have one thing in common, though, and that is a fun and sufficiently realistic atmosphere!

Current Callouts (full explanation in documentation):

  • Petrol/Gas Theft
  • Pacific Bank Heist
  • Traffic Stop Backup Required
  • Stolen Police Vehicle
  • Person with a Knife
  • Solicitation
  • Organised Street Race
  • Illegal Immigrants in Truck
  • Store Robberies
  • Store Shoplifting
  • Prisoner Transport Required
  • Hot Pursuit
  • More to come! For suggestions and development updates, check this thread. To get early access to new versions, participate in the Loyalty Rewards Programme.

Installation instructions are provided in the ReadMe.

Lots of settings, such as keybindings, callout frequencies etc. can be modified through the INI file.

Starting from Computer+ 1.3.0.0, Assorted Callouts offers support for its callout display system. For a more realistic experience, I recommend downloading Computer+ here.

Support - what to do if you encounter a bug or have problems:

  1. Watch the installation video for my modifications here.
  2. Use this tool: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/9755-lspdfr-troubleshooter-by-albo1125/
  3. Read the documentation file if you're having trouble getting a specific feature to work.
  4. Suggestions can be made here.
  5. If all else fails: Please leave a comment (not a review). Include your RAGEPluginHook.log file, located in your Grand Theft Auto V folder. Also, please provide an accurate description of what happened. This allows me to help you as fast as possible.

I have created a tool to help you automatically detect and solve common issues with your LSPDFR and RPH installations. It can also detect installation issues for my other mods. This ensures you don't have to post here and wait for valuable support to be given by other members.

So, after some testing (aka playing), I have found a few minor bugs with the Bank Heist callout scenario. First off, it will give you that callout regardless of where you are on the map (I got it from all the way in Paleto Bay), which can lead to some LONG drives (fun though, running code 3 down the highway in the snow going 130+ MPH. Sorry, cars I ran into...). Second, you can unintentionally arrest the SWAT Team Members, and they can become hostile towards you (though they won't shoot or attack you, and you can't shoot or attack THEM). That's awkward... Third, the Voice Lines all still say you're "Officer" and with the LSPD, even if you're on duty as either County Sheriff, Park Ranger, FIB, DOA, SAHP, etc. I haven't tested it yet, but are there voice lines for Female Officers/Deputies, should you be using those models instead?

If you're looking for help with Voice Acting to fill some lines in, I'm sure that there are people who would be more than willing to volunteer to help out. The current voice lines could definitely use some improvement.

Overall though, great work! The action inside the bank makes great use of the interior design and layout inside the bank. Having a re-supply location close by is VERY USEFUL for when one of them gets a few hits in on you, AND having it re-spawn you in the nearby ambulance, INSTEAD of at the hospital ~1 mile away is very helpful too.

I eagerly look forward to seeing what comes next!

My troubleshooter indicated no problems yet, I never get ANPR calls anymore that toss drugs and can initiate a traffic stop on the petrol thief.

You know you can change the frequency of the callouts in the Traffic Policer.ini and Assorted Callouts.ini file right? So you can increase or decrease the chance of that callout by changing some numbers..

Hey so I assume you mean you can't initiate a traffic stop on the gas theft suspect -- every time I've done the gas theft callout, soon as you locate the suspect, he flees. So you can't initiate a traffic stop on a fleeing suspect as you're now considered in a pursuit. I haven't played a lot recently or taken that call since it came out of beta, but that was my experience.

What would be really cool is on the traffic stop backups - if the original officer could maybe hang out until the call is over (when the perp is picked up or coroner shows up).

I was backup on a stop where the perp got out of the car with a gun ... the original officer opened fire, killing the suspect, then jumped in his car and got the hell out of Dodge, leaving me to clean up the mess. It was kinda funny, though. He just killed someone and wanted no part of it.

This is one fun plugin. Enjoying it a lot!

I think that has to do with how LSPD:FR handles any spawned officers. As soon as the callout is over, it makes them flee and despawn.

Hey Albo! I played with your mod last night for a few hours and love it. I had a few recommendations for you that I think would lead to a more immersive experience for the user. For the traffic stop backup callout, instead of an officer requesting backup, is there a chance that the user could go back an officer up on their own some of the time? I work for a Police Department and we always have officers that will back up other officers on traffic stops on their own, without being asked to.

Another thing that I thought might work well is a few more outcomes for the backup callout. Instead of every stop being a warrant for the owner, maybe the stop can end up being just that...a traffic stop. You back up the officer as they write a citation and you both go on your way. While it may not be as exciting, I know there are users who want more 'realistic' police work callouts. Those were just a couple thoughts I had. Thanks for your hard work on all of these great mods! :)

Yes, I am working on all of these new situations for the traffic stop backup for the next release. I 100% agree with your feedback, I just had some time constraint issues.

    Glad you enjoy! Thanks!

Well, AI random events (random pursuits not spawned by LSPD:FR) still happen randomly. Every time I see a randomly spawned AI officer running code somewhere, I always follow them and see what they're doing.

    Hey Albo,

Just wanted to give some feed back on the bank hiest callout. I've played it a few times and in my opinion the number of robbers is too high, I think one report said I killed 20 of them... Also They take forever to kill, sometimes at least 2 full mags from the carbine rifle, unless its a headshot.

Would it be possible for the next version to include settings in the INI file which we can adjust such as robber health, number of hostages/robbers, etc?

Also the petrol theft callout are the vehicles random for that or are they always a supercar? Because I must be getting bad luck as I have to chase down a supercar all the time lol.

Other than them points, its a great callout addon!

LSPDFR keeps crashing on me when I try to talk to the Gas/Petrol station owner during "Gas/Petrol Theft", it also crashes when I try to talk to the Officer during "Traffic Stop Backup Required". I have tried to uninstall and reinstall this mod and all the necessary files multiple times, but with no success, I have also run the Troubleshooter, which reports no issues.

I have attached a RPH log, which ends with the LSPDFR crashing due to "Petrol/Gas Theft" callout.

LSPDFR still keeps crashing on the same exact spot with all universal and LSPDFR specific RPH plugins turned off.

EDIT: I managed to identify the issue and fix it. It seems that it requires Windows Media Player to be enabled and up to date, I had it disabled under Windows Features, because I never use it, reenabling it solved the problem.
