Welcome to Arrest Manager! This script modification for LSPDFR greatly enhances the way you can deal with your suspects and their vehicles. Are you tired of driving all the way to a jail to deal with a suspect? Would you like to be able to call for reliable prisoner transport units at any time? Arrest Manager provides this, and more. In short, a complete overhaul to the way you can deal with your prisoners!

Requirements - some of these are included (credits go to their appropriate authors):

  • LSPDFR 0.4.2 (not included)
  • Albo1125.Common 6.6.3.0 or higher (included)
  • RAGENativeUI 1.6.3.0 or higher (included)
  • RAGEPluginHook 0.51 or higher (not included)
  • A legal copy of GTA V (versions 1.0.1011.1 or higher1).

Installation instructions and further feature documentation are included with the download.

  3. Read the documentation file if you're having trouble getting a specific feature to work.
  4. Suggestions can be made here.
  5. If all else fails: Please leave a comment (not a review). Include your RAGEPluginHook.log file, located in your Grand Theft Auto V folder. Also, please provide an accurate description of what happened. This allows me to help you as fast as possible.

What's New in Version 7.11.0.0

Released

7.11.0.0 (23-06-2019)

Updated for LSPDFR 0.4.2
Update arresting API call and logic

7.10.0.0 (03-03-2019)
Updated for LSPDFR 0.4 (thanks Syzygy94 for the contributions)
Fixed an issue with jail dropoffs - some LSPDFR jail dropoffs now conflict, but I have kept in Arrest manager's as they offer more functionality and work on suspects arrested through the "Arrest" option on the ctrl H menu.
You can adjust the LSPDFR jail points in the LSPDFR/data/stations.xml file, just remove the <DropOffPosition> tags.
Updated for the new LSPDFR+ 1.7 API (thanks Syzygy94 for the contributions)
Updated RAGENativeUI calls to non deprecated ones.

7.9.2.0 (23-11-2018)
Some code cleanup.
Open sourced at https://github.com/Albo1125/Arrest-Manager
Updated licence.
Removed obfuscation (likely to improve performance).

Lovely to hear this, thank you!

Let's hope the LSPDFR devs don't release a van anytime soon, or this will have been for nothing

Its all good man.  Albo1125 will always be known as the first to have done it

Albo, if you are still taking any suggestions. I have one tiny one and I mean it is tiny.  Actually its 2 things and you may have already cleaned up one of them as I had the one from the other day.  After you arrest someone at the bottom is says "Press D8 for Prisoner transport"  I am pretty sure it may by the ini where you had mentioned the code buttons (sorry I sound like a noob) being D8 for coding and such, but before it did say just press 8.   Like I said its just a silly thing you can literally fix or may have already done so in 3 second.

Here is my idea for another bit of code if your up for the job.  Wouldn't doubt if you had it up within a day.  After you arrest, and you press 8, the officer kinda stands there.  Is there a way to have him talk into his radio kinda like the code that is in the game when Plate Checker is done?  The officer leans his head to his shoulder and you hear a few radio sound of clicking etc.  Would add to the immersion of the mod.  Like I mentioned before.  This mod started off so simplistic and you have grown it in to an epic mod!

So I went way over the top with this, in the next release you can actually customise/disable the notification!

Will look into that for a next release, thank you for the feedback!

And I agree it's amazing how fast I've managed to grow this, I'm pretty surprised at how much easier learning to mod is than I thought it was.

    Pretty big update here!

0.3.2: Lots of improvements across the board (I listened to your suggestions!) including:

    • Add a blip to the minimap so you can see where the transport van is.
    • Better error handling, the plugin will now automatically reload if LSPDFR or this plugin crashes!
    • Fixed a rare bug concerning suspect running off from the van, thank you KGXGamer!
    • Improved transport van driving logic (this is a thing, isn't it).
    • Added the option to customise/disable notifications for each feature in the .ini file. Disabling a notification doesn't disable the feature!
    • Added improved support and a new message when unloading LSPDFR or going off duty.
    • Fixed a bug where you were not transported back to where you came from if you have a mod that locks your doors.
    • Using either the warp to jail feature or going to a new jail now repairs your vehicle.
    • Numerous other fixes behind the scenes.

Thank you for using my mod!

Seems like an okay mod, might try it out.

as a temporary workaround until its officially added, do you think you could add an option to take cuffed suspects out of your car, once they are already in? (I know its kind of unrelated but it really annoys me..) I would be forever grateful

And uh, another nitpick but the suspect going to the transport van is uncuffed, which is one of those very minor annoyances. :p

Not sure which mod you are using.  I have never once see them 'grab the suspect' on back up code 2 or even code 3.  They arrive on scene and get out to investigate.  But they most certainly have no interaction at all with your suspect unless you are in a pursuit.

Call for the backup, when it arrives walk up to the car, press F and your character will open the rear door of the backup and the perp will enter the car.  Close the door and leave.  The backup cops will get in their car eventually and drive off with the perp.  No mods needed for this.  Sometimes I notice the perp will fall out of the car though...down the street.

Now that this mod has an actual transport, will be worth a try.

    Good day!

    You asked, I listened!

0.3.3: Various Fixes and improvements, see if you can find them! All suggestions have been implemented (I think) except the one where the suspect remains handcuffed when being picked up, this one is pretty hard. If you absolutely NEED this, you can do it by placing the suspect in your car and then calling for a van. Just don't get in your car yourself before calling for the van, and don't drive away :P

Thank you for using my mod!

This is pretty damn epic for your first mod (assuming that you just started learning?). And it's a must-have! :D

So I installed this yesterday and after I installed it, my LSPD plugin kept crashing every so often, so I took it out. I really did like this plugin so I kept tabs on it and noticed an update. So I tried it again (with the new version) and after I requested a transport and the transport gets there my LSPD plugin crashed again, and so, here I am.

    Here is picture of log:

     http://prntscr.com/7zh9b6

Note: Yesterday, my LSPD would crash without me doing anything with this plugin and after I took the plugin out, my LSPD would not crash at all. The same thing was happened to my friend.

Literally my only 2 complaints are:

*The blue blips won't go away if 2 transports get accidentally called even if you destroy/remove the van.

*A transport van will only take 1 ped and no more, in cases of having multiple peds stopped this can be a pain

Otherwise, again, THANK YOU and a great job keep it up.

How unfortunate! I will look into the crash, thanks! Can I ask what your specs are and what other plugins youre using? Have you tried only using mine?

Also in 0.3.4: For suspects to stay handcuffed,   place the suspect in your car and then call for a van. The prison officer will get the suspect out of your car, and the suspect will stay handcuffed while getting into the transport van. I'm currently looking for a way to do this without having to put the suspect in your car, but this is difficult because of the way LSPDFR handles arrests.

Please tell me you did not add "Albo" to the side of the van lol

No no, not in the game itself :P I just think it looks cool!

0.3.3 was also crashing the LSPDFR script for me but v0.3.4 seems to be working much better. No crashes so far. Good job, the script is very useful!
