   (19 reviews)

7 Screenshots

Fire Callouts is a plugin for LSPDFR to add fire department related callouts. There are currently 14 exciting callouts!

With Fire Callouts I aim to add unique callouts to LSPDFR that places you to the shoes of a firefighter in Los Santos County. There are currently 14 callouts with many more to come from structure fires to car accidents. Moreover, there is a new feature the extraction saw! Use it to save lifes from wrecked car and multi vehicle accidents. You can use it to cut doors, hoods and trunks to free those poor souls.

The BIG Thank you section

First of all I want to express my gratitude to OJdoesIt and alexguire. Alexguire was an amazing help. Most of the saw code and more is made by him. Without their help I wouldn’t be able to make the extraction saw to work.  Furthermore Albo1125's and SuperPyroManiac's open sourced plugins were an amazing help.  Also, Many many thanks to the GTA5 Mods and LSPDFR Lounge Discord servers and their members for all their help. Moreover, thanks to Supreme Commander (or Anders) for testing the callouts and providing some awesome screenshots. Finally, a huge shoutout to PNWParksFan. He is an amazing guy and he has helped me countless times. He helped with so many things I need a whole page just to write them!

And at this point I would also like to apologize to SuperPyroManiac. On the first version there were some things left on the code which didn't belong to me. Many thanks to him for being understanding about that.

Thank you Acepilot2k17 for the awesome videos Check them out below!

To fully enjoy the mod I suggest using the following mods:

  •  EUP Menu with Serve and Protect ( for the firefighter uniform).
  •  Coastal Callouts by PNWParksFan, found here in LCPDFR downloads section. The are so many new features with this one that its a must for a better experience.
  •  Stop the Ped ( for more interaction and immersion, those sweet animations for medics and coroners and more!).

What's New in Version 1.4.0

Released

Fire Callouts 1.4.0 Update. Make sure to update, by replacing all the files ( Drag and Drop)!

  • Added a total of 4 new Callouts!
  • Added Smoke effects. Now you know when there is a working fire and when not!
  • Added Hazmat Callout in Humane Labs.
  • Added 2 Callouts in Fort Zancudo. One is an ATC Fire( scripted like the 5 alarm ones) and the other is 4 locations with working fires around the Fort.
  • Added Helmet Flashlight (Thanks to PNWParksFan for his help on this).
  • Added the first raw medical callout (simple one for now I will create an interaction system soon).
  • Added simple SCBA script, along with sound for it (Basically makes you fireproof when you have the tank opened).
  • Added sound for Saw, one small bug is that if you hit a surface and you dont cut it the sound will play till the end. You can bypass that by pressing the K button twice (for the scba).
  • Added Capability for CPR.
  • Added Death Report for unsuccesful CPR. Please not that on callouts that the ped is killed ( from the creator of the callout) the death report will always say death by fall. I can't do something about that.
  • Added .pdb file for better error reporting.

Literally amazing, theres no other way to put it, like its so good so i feel like it shouldnt even be called a callout pack, it literally changes lspdfr entirely from a police game to a full on firefighter game, still needs some polishing in certain areas but its still early in dev, would def recommend for anyone who either likes firefighter stuff or just generally someone who wants an entirely new experience in lspdfr

Enjoyed the new calls that Fire Callouts brings to the table. Calls are diverse and well placed around the map. You can use the calls to roleplay as a firefighter, paramedic or even a police officer which is cool.  Looking forward to see where you take this with future updates.

Having played the 1.4.0 version now, I'm updating the review.  So, a bunch of new callouts have been added- Structure fires have more locations now, courtesy of the open interiors mod.  There is now a menu you can use to acquire a fire extinguisher with infinite "ammo", and start a specific type of callout.  In addition to more variants of the structure fire, there is now a five alarm fire at the O'Neil ranch- Make sure you are using open interiors, otherwise you'll be picking through the house after its collapsed.  There are several outdoor structure fires in Fort Zancudo, and one larger one in the ATC tower, which I didn't realize even had an interior.  Be ready to climb some stairs.  There's a fire in the LifeInvader offices.  There are house fires at the various player houses in the base game such as Floyd's apartment, Trevor's trailer, Michael's house, Franklin's Aunt's house, Lester's house, and Franklin's house.  There are more wildfires, and every callout has a massive smoke plume that spawns so you'll see the smoke from miles away.  There's a hazmat callout where you'll have to journey into the depths of the Humane Labs to plug a gas leak and rescue some poisoning victims.

In addition to the new callouts, other new features include a SCBA system that, while turned on(K by default), offers a nice breathing effect and immunity to fire.  The extraction saw has a sound effect now.  You can perform CPR now, manually, in a similar way to GTA San Andreas's minigames where you press a button to pump the person's chest.  There is also a headlamp that you can activate.  This is a fantastic callout pack, and I cannot wait to see what comes next.

A few minutes ago I responded to a fire at Trevor's convenience store.  Trevor of course wasn't there for obvious reasons, but a clerk was.  I could hear him screaming when I pulled up.  Its immediately clear this is going to require backup so I call in extra firefighters and stop traffic.  After knocking down the large flames in front of the doors, we enter and begin using extinguishers to knock down the interior blazes.  The clerk meanwhile is lying behind the counter, burned beyond recognition.  Poor guy.  While we're trying to put out the interior fire, its burning as hot as ever on the outside.  I call in another fire unit.  Meanwhile, I start hearing gunshots outside and turn to see a random jeep parked in the middle of the fire scene and its occupants shooting it out with the BCSD.  Guess the traffic stop triggered some road rage.  Anyway, after a minute or so the gunshots subside and I go out to drag the gunned down road ragers away from the fire and summon ambos to deal with the rapidly mounting casualties.  Finally the interior is under control so I go in and drag the clerk out of the store so the paramedics can deal with him.  He survived.  So did a cop that got too close to the fire.  The angry drivers expired either from the gunshots or the flames.  Outside there's fire on the roof so I power up my Brush truck's water cannon and later go up with an extinguisher to finish the job.  I really wish I'd recorded this call.  All in all this was a lot of fun and having multiple agencies respond as the call got closer and closer to becoming out of hand was borderline epic.

    So what else?

Well, I really haven't encountered any bugs so far that I can think of.  I would highly recommend using Stop the Ped and Ultimate Backup.  STP will allow you to stop traffic and drag people as was mentioned in the anecdote above.  Ultimate Backup will allow you to summon firefighters and paramedics to reinforce you at fire scenes.  I would also recommend downloading a mod to stop AI from panicking when a fire extinguisher is used.

Thank you very much for your time to write this review! I really appreciate it! About the wildfires I didn't have an issue with FPS nor an another user said it, but I will definitely take a look at it! Thanks again and I hope you like the new updates ( when they are reviewed!)

The fact that its just a callout pack means its super easy to install and run. Easy to use, fun, and hopefully more callouts to come. I love it! Good idea making it a callout pack rather than a standalone plugin like rescuemodv.

Thank you very much for your kind words! More callouts will come soon!

Overall, the best fire callouts pack available. The variety of calls and locations is excellent and the scenarios are realistic. However, I've recently uninstalled the pack as the inability to change the key to perform CPR is a real problem.

Those using Stop The Ped will find it challenging around casualties as pressing E (or D pad right) initiates the CPR animation which cannot be aborted. My only other issue with the pack is that when the call is ended, all the vehicles and peds disappear. I understand that this is necessary to remove the smoke once the fire is extinguished but for the car crash and aircraft crash callouts it's not very realistic.

    Response from the author:

Thank you for the review and your words. All those issues you mentioned are fixed in the beta.

Astonishing work, many calls with many variations and locations around the map. The calls are well crafted and you can see there was a lot of work put into the plugin. Like everyone else said, this is an entirely different experience in LSPDFR with many more features to come!

i loved this! i can't wait to see what the future holds for your mods!! i used this in conjunction with the air paramedic, bodyguards, and edited other callout ini to only accept fire/rescue calls. i also used barriers, cones, signs, etc to "create" a better scene..so good job and i hope there is more to come 😄
