Development of this mod has been taken over here

What does this mean? Well, simply put, I can no longer handle it. School and work has to take priority, and I just don't have the time for it anymore. I'm very sorry to those of you who were looking forward to new updates, bugfixes, your suggestions and more. I wanted to say thank you to everyone for your incredible amounts of support along the journey of this plugin.

I first submitted this over 3 years ago, way back in 2019, as just a couple of vaguely security related callouts. Since then, nearly 50,000 people have downloaded it. I can't even picture that many people in my mind, it truly blows me away, so thank you.

For anyone interested, I've decided to open-source the entirety of Beta 1.2, along with all unreleased WIP Beta 1.3 code here on GitHub. It's a GPL license, so go crazy. Unfortunately I no longer have the original code for the older versions, but if you really need them for some reason you can always just decompile them, as they're all still available here as .dll files. Thank you all again for your support over the years, and happy modding.

Security+ is now in Beta!

After a very long wait (sorry haha) the major update is finally here.

I won't spoil too much, but some of the new features include:

    - A brand new code base for maximum optimization

    - Remastered or Remade all existing callouts!

    - Now supporting 50 locations across San Andreas!

    - 36 Unique security scenarios!

    - A custom security dispatcher!

    - And much more

I've done my best to remove all existing bugs, and everything should work smoothly, however, if you find a bug please don't hesitate to leave a comment or send me a message 🙂

Good callouts and they are very fun, i dont like how they all callouts happen in the middle of the road though. If you fix that it would be 5/5!

    Response from the author:

Thanks for your input! The big reason why the callouts happen right around you is for when you patrol a specific location. For example, if you are patrolling somewhere like the UTool or The Humane Labs facility I personally found it nice having the callouts appear nearby. That being said I do see your point and I will try to change it to where they appear at set locations. I'm still new to coding so it might take a while. Glad you enjoyed! 🙂

Loving the callouts so far.  The only thing I would recommend is if the contact person on scene can wait to start talking to you until you press the Y key for example.  Sometimes they start talking before you can find them. Hope that makes sense.  Appreciate the time and effort you put into this project.  This video below is just the start of a series I am doing in my channel.

    Response from the author:

Thank you so much for the feedback! Happy to hear you enjoyed the mod. The people on scene talking before you arrive was a bit of an internal debate for me, it felt a little more realistic that they would call out to you as you walked towards them, but I do understand that its sometimes better to have a prompt. I think I'm going to look into adding an option to the ini file that allows you to pick between those two options. Thanks again for the review, loved the video!

    Very unique mod. Love it.
Down to the 117 callouts, the many different scenarios, down to the probability of who's dangerous and who's not.
I can definitely tell that a lot of work went into this. Great job!

    Response from the author:

Thanks so much! I put a lot of work into the beta update hoping it would be able to last a long while so I'm glad you like it 🙂

The callout's work, It seems like you used

    World.GetNextPositionOnStreet();

It would be nice if you added certain spawn point to this, for example, the "Customer Refusing to Pay" callout could be at a shop or a restaurant.

Also, on the minimap for the "Security Guard requesting additional unit" callout, the search area for the ped is a solid color and you can't really see anything through it (I included a screenshot below) Also for this callout they spawn on a random position, and it would be nice to have a bit of a harder time finding the suspect.

3/5 for now, will change my review if the callouts get improved.

Thanks for releasing this for the community, and keep up the good and progressive work!

    Response from the author:

Thanks so much for your input! It really does mean a lot to me.

As for the issues you addressed, the "security guard requesting additional unit" call is one that is still very much in development. As you noticed the circle for it is really just a blip like the others but scaled up. I'm still new to coding but I've figured out how to fix this problem and it will be all done in the next update. The blip also doesn't disappear when the callout finishes, this is also something I'm working on.

As for the issue of the callouts simply spawning around you, yes that is the code I am using. I'm currently working on implementing a series of custom locations for the callouts but it's taking a rather long time since I'm still in high school and only have so long to work on this. Nevertheless, I am making good progress and it should also be fixed in the next update, albeit with a limited amount of locations until future updates.

I know it sounds like a whole bunch of excuses but it is the full and honest truth.

Thanks again for your input, feedback is the only way for me to improve 🙂

Been a while since I last wrote a review on a script, but this one is a great one!
Thank you first of all, for adding another layer to LSPDFR, i am having a blast playing as security.

@NeulandInternetmade custom cars and skins, so the whole game looks diffrent.

I love playing the callouts and hope we will get further updates in the future.
If you want to check out my experience (beware its german!) feel free to say hi:

This mod looks great, and seems to make a bit of a difference, in order to vary the repetitive missions of LSPDFR a little! 😀
I am French and in France we like this kind of initiative.
But I have a question, is it compatible with the latest version LSPDFR 0.4.7?
I give you 5 stars for this mods, and to encourage you to continue the updates and creation. I know that it is not easy, to launch and create a first mods, as ambitious!
I hope an update will arrive for LSPDFR 0.4.7 with Hospitals too!

    Thank you

    Response from the author:

Thank you for the feedback! It means a lot to me 🙂

The mod has not yet been updated for 0.4.7 and does not work properly with it.

I am still hard at work on adding more to this mod and it will hopefully be updated soon.

I like how unique the callouts are apart from other callout plugins.I haven't encountered a single bug yet on any of the normally encounterable callouts(which means no guard backup callout).I am waiting patiently for the next update!

    Thank you very much! 🙂

These callouts have a lot of potential, however, as others have mentioned, the peds always spawn in the middle of the road breaking a lot of the immersion. The blip on the wanted person is also way too big, and doesn't disappear after callout has ended.

    Overall pretty fun.

These are some great idea for callouts! But I feel like most of these are more meant for police officers since the places they spawn at don't have dedicated security.

One star for now. Becuse the blips on the map is very very big and wont dissapear after callout is ended, and they spawn in the middle of the road wich cause mayhem in the traffic. Otherwise the callouts are good

    Response from the author:

May I ask what you mean about where they spawn? The latest update fixed that issue and yet it says your review is for the current version?
