Requirements:

 

  • Traffic Policer
  • (Optional) Darkmyre's Search Warrant or Stop The Ped

 

Features

 

  • Ped Observation
    • Get observations for any ped
      • Automatic traffic stop observations for all occupants
      • Gets status of ped including mood, behavior, and signs of intoxication
  • [NEW] Lite Menu Based Computer System
    • Run record checks, issue citations, summons, and create arrest reports with the new computer system
    • Fully integrated with the rest of this plugin
    • Customizable XML files for charges and citations
      • IMPORTANT! Do not edit/add any new main root entries (eg direct descendants of the "Main" root). They will not be recognized by my plugin
        • You can only add/edit entries under these roots with the "Charge" name
  • Traffic Stop Questions
    • [NEW] Traffic stop questioning menu, replaces default LSPDFR+ one
      • To use, approach a car on a traffic stop and press the interaction key (default "Y") to open the menu
      • You can:
        • Ask the driver for their license and proof of insurance
          • If the driver has no license, a suspended license, or warrants, there is a chance they will refuse to identify themselves to you, which is arrestable.
        • Ask for passenger's identification
        • Tell the driver the reason for pulling them over (27 default reasons so far, just comment any more ideas you have and I will try to add them)
        • Ask general questions:
          • "Where are you headed?"
          • "Where are you coming from?"
          • "Is the address on your license current?"
          • "Do you own this vehicle?"
          • "How do you know the passenger(s)?"
        • Ask questions related to crime:
          • "Have you been drinking recently?"
          • "Have you you used any drugs recently?
          • "Is there anything illegal in the car?"
          • "Can I search your vehicle?"
        • Most question's answers will depend on the ped's mood/intoxication level
        • 210+ lines of mostly unique dialog
        • Any more ideas for questioning should be added in the comments!
    • [NEW] Issue warnings, citations, and summons with the new computer system
    • [NEW] Can now order occupants out of the vehicle
  • Field Sobriety Tests
  • Evidence
    • Store any evidence you find in any police vehicle
    • View stored evidence
    • Drop off stored evidence at any police station, marked by a "stash" icon on the map (pot leaf blip next to police stations)
  • Field Narcotics Test Kits
    • Narcotics stored in your evidence can be tested using reagent test kits in your trunk
      • Positive tests are automatically stored in evidence
      • Automatically recognizes when you store drugs in evidence and makes them available for testing
        • Drugs are not always what they seem, e.g. sometimes what you think is meth will turn out to be PCP or cocaine
      • If you use one of the custom XML files, these phrases are currently recognized by evidence storage as able to be tested:
        • "white powder"
        • "tan" or "brown powder"
        • "blotter paper"
        • "crystal" or "crystals"
        • "unmarked pills"
    • 5 different tests, based on real life counterparts (all information based on products from: http://www.sirchie.com/forensics/narcotics-investigation/pouches.html)
      • Marquis Reagent (meth, heroin, morphine, MDMA)
      • Scott Reagent (cocaine/crack)
      • Fentanyl Reagent (Fentanyl)
      • Phencyclidine Reagent (PCP)
      • Ehrlich's Reagent (LSD)
    • Custom narcotics.xml for DarkMyre's Search Warrant and PoliceSearch adds more options for unidentified drugs such as: "white powder", "suspicious crystals", etc
  • Automatic Pursuit Updates
    • When in a pursuit, will automatically give information on the speed and direction that the suspect vehicle is heading.
    • Also gives details on traffic condition such as light, medium, or heavy (togglable)
  • [NEW] Integrated Lite Court System
    • Upon creating an arrest report, a court case will automatically be generated for the arrest
    • There is a customizable amount of time between the arrest date and court date in the .ini file
    • Active court cases options
      • View name, charges, court date, and force early case hearing
    • Past court cases options
      • View name, charges, sentence, and delete one or all entries
    • Sentences depend on severity and amount of charges
    • [!!!IMPORTANT!!!] Due to the new court system, the XML structure of the Charges.xml has changed, adding a new attribute called "life" to every charge. If life is set to true, that charge can carry a life sentence.
      • You must update old customized XML files to include this attribute for every charge or use the new ones provided, otherwise the game will crash
    • [Coming Soon] Evidence system integration

 

Known Bugs:

  • Sometimes arrested peds will leave the backseat of your vehicle and try to drive away. No known fix but to grab them and put them back in the vehicle. Probably a plugin interaction.
    • Have not had happen to me in a while, please report for v2.2.1 if you encounter. Possibly fixed


Installation:

  1. Copy the "Plugins" folder to your main GTA V directory.
  2. Pick an XML to use depending on what search plugin you have for added realism! (not required)
  3. Enjoy!

 

Don't know what else to put here, just let me know if you find any bugs or if anything is unclear and I will try to fix it. Been a long road of development, thank you to everyone who has helped me on the way!

  • No new update took place, updated contents of .rar file

    Consistant loss. Opening the menu has no effect on my fps at all.

    Hi i have a few problem, i get crashes a lot since i got this mod in my game, i have a bug that is trigger after doing the sobriety test both.. when stop after, using STP when i grab the prisoner to put him in the car..he gets out handcuff on and take the driver seat of my police car and take off...i tried everything to fix it while keeping your mod in, I reduce  the STP possibility to flee to 0% and still was doing that, not all the time, but it seems like it was after stopping them with your mod with "T"  i tested STP without your mod in on 20 prisoner grab and put in the vehicle and no issue. i'm gonna have to get this mod i really really enjoy out of my game for now until STP and your mod will work together. below i have the Ragehook log file. Don't look at the last lines...around the middle of th log it happen i think on 2 occasions.

    That's awesome pls see my last post about a problem I have with putting the prisoners in the car using stop the ped....I think you guy's should really test this with both mod working..I know Bejelio is very talented as well...he did and awesome job with STP witch I think it's essential to the game now.

    You still do not have it installed right, that is the only thing that would throw this error. Are you absolutely sure it is in your main GTA V directory, where GTAV.exe & GTAVLauncher.exe are located?

    I am in the process of making it be compatible with STP. I have already got in contact with Bejoljo and we are working together to get it working 🙂 I am going to do more testing tonight with some STP API functions. As for your problem with the vehicle, I will try to release a patch sometime this afternoon for it. I'm pretty sure that is just a bug in the code, and NOT an interaction with STP.

    Hey, is there any text/words that trigger certain results for the drug test?. Like i have custom items added to Stop The Ped, Police Search, and VehicleSearch..- Like actual Heroin, Cocaine , Methamphetamine, Cannabis, Prescription Pain Medication, Prescription Benzodiazepines  etc. How can i enter those into the drug test recognition system so it displays the correct result?. Like Meth would be under the right category, heroin under opiates, etc.

    The script will automatically recognize if you enter the name of the drug such as "meth" or "heroin", that list is just of the custom things in the .xml I added for more realism to keep testing interesting. Keep in mind that only drugs you have tests available for will be recognized to be tested. Currently available tests can detect:

    • Meth
    • Heroin
    • Cocaine/crack
    • Fentanyl
    • Morphine
    • PCP
    • LSD
    • MDMA

    All tests are accurate down to their real life counterparts in what they are used to test for, even the color changes are true to life.

    Awesome, appreciate the quick and informative response!. Your plugin is so dope it's only a few features away from being a full Stop The Ped replacement. I could see some of these elements and features being implemented in future versions of LSPDFR itself. You are a true hero for making this detailed and immersive mod!.

    It will recognize any phrase containing the word "meth", this includes "methamphetamine", "meth pipe", etc. I did this to be as generous as possible for users entering evidence to have it recognized to be tested

    That's interesting... I changed my code so that if the ped is in any police vehicle (and double checked that they were not arrested/being arrested) then they will not be dismissed by my plugin. I see no problems in the log, does my menu still function after the ped gets out of the car? I am not sure what the issue is, since no one else seems to be having this issue my first guess would be a plugin is conflicting with it that isn't STP. To see if it's something happening with my plugin, I am going to try and add more extensive game logging so I can pinpoint any issues.

    that i didn't check, but i never had this issue before..it's like arrest manager is taking over the ped. But on all those that happen i did the test(both) and then use STP to stop and arrest them, grab them with STP and put in my car as soon they sit, they get out run around the back of the car and take the driver seat. All that handcuffed. they sit in the driver seat for a second and they take off. Very frustrating loll. i wish i have a fix..i don't know what is causing this issue. I don't want to blame your mod...but it only happen when i use your mod first, Am i the only one? It's like the ped is turning to a ped cop.

    It could be something with my mod still, the better logging with the next update should tell me if there is something going on that shouldn't be. I can't reproduce this error so I'll need to see whats happening on your end to see if I can figure out what's happening

    I have the same issues. Also at times, after testing the ped and completing the tests I use STP and arrest them and then a ped search and the field is completely blank. I don't k now if it would be where I need to go back into the menu for Interaction+ to actually get the result. Appreciate you @Phaxol looking into this. I don't have a chance to actually post my last log with it currently.

    @Phaxol I found out the problem it was that I didn’t have one of the Microsoft dependencies for script hook so I download it from the Microsoft website and now my game and mod work perfectly thank you for all the help and sorry for all the trouble I gave you keep up the good work!

    I’m glad someone else got the same issue lol, I was running out of option. I know STP when it came out first there was the same bug happening as well. He fix it tho. Maybe Phaxol should check with Bejelio the author of STP to try to see what he did to fix it.

    Could you fix the bug where if you do the walk and turn test they don't get stuck.  I have gotten stuck three times once she was on a curb and i was in the street but it wasn't detecting it.  I think it is done great it just needs a break in the loop
