This plugin depends on Community Script Hook V .NET, which is broken and may cause random crashes in your game. This has been reported to their developers, but no stable release is currently available that fixes this critical problem.

Hi everybody!
Thanks for downloading my script!

 

Current Version: 0.8.6

 

In EMS Mod, you can choose between three kind of duty:

1) Paramedic-> get on your ambo and go to save lives in Los Santos City!

2) Medic-> you'll be called by Central in order to give first aid to patients. Decide later if you want to call for the EMS backup (it is mandatory if you start CPR!) or release the patient on scene!

3) Helicopter-> start your duty in one of the two main heliports of LS!

 

Callouts:
-Cardiac Arrest: reach asap the patient and treat him if you want to save his life!
-Unconscious person: a person has suddenly lost his consciousness. Medical treatment is needed as soon as possible!
-Vehicle accident: unfortunately somebody had a serious vehicle accident and he's waiting for your arrival!
-Trauma: treat an injured person and carry him/her to the hospital!
-Person shot: somebody was shot, rush to the scene, but wait for the police before
approaching the patient! Or, if you're bold enough, go and risk!
-Person with fever: Central reported a vomiting person with fever. Is it a severe infectious disease? Be careful!
-Transport: you only have to transport a person because him/her cannot go lonely to the hospital.
-Person hit by a car: somebody was hit by a car and now needs your assistance!

-Overdose/alcohol-induced coma: rush to the scene and check the vitals of someone who is in coma!

-drunk person: check this person’s health and then transport him to the hospital.

 

Don't worry, I'm planning to add in the next future more callouts and features!

    Very enjoyable mod, still in BETA hence the 3/5 stars, it's got some bugs, I've had it crash 3 times on me in the last hour, without using RagePluginHook it's hard to pinpoint a crash.

     

    The AI medics/police are very erratic (Could just be GTA V), I find they plow through the scene and kill a few people, crashing their cars and causing more of a panic. The interaction is really neat, it's the most realistic medic script I've ever seen. There are a few things that most people wouldn't have any clue how to use unless they had some background knowledge of first aid.

     

    As my previous experience as a paramedic, I find staging to be a big part of possible "dangerous" situations, I didn't get to try all the callouts, but for the most part, the "Shooter" one would have police already there before the ambulance or first responder medics to show up. I did find that the police were on the way, and I decided to stay back until the scene was clear for medics to be on scene, but the other ambulance called to the scene already jumped out and started performing medical aid to the casualty. (Playing as a Medic FBI2) IS there a way to turn off automatic medic backup but instead have it upon request? 

     

    Another thing I found was the location of the calls. I was waiting around the Pillbox Hill medical center and I got a call out for cardiac arrest in Paleto Bay. That's a bit of a drive, But since I was testing for the sake of reviewing I went all the way over there, somebody had drowned. The distance would be cool if you could set a patrol location, instead of just getting callouts all over the show, like having a Paleto Bay/Highway, Blaine County, Then split up Los Santos into a few different districts, and having the "Start Duty" as a blip at the hospital in that region, then it can help localize your callouts. I think that would be awesome, but this is in beta and I know we can expect from it. Though for the future that would be an awesome addition.

     

    I love the fact that you transport the injured party to the nearest hospital. This is the coolest thing about the script, not only are you able to register first aid to the casualty but also getting your partner to continue the first aid in the back of the ambulance is very neat. Thought most of the time I found I didn't have to do that much since basic CPR and AED were able to bring them back to consciousness.

     

    I noticed you can press "H" while arriving on the scene to teleport to the casualty. I accidentally did this while still driving at an attempt to turn my high-beams off but the ambulance kept driving for a bit. Maybe adding a smaller radius that the "Evaluation" key can be toggled?

     

    But asides from the basic glitches and bugs I think the groundwork has been set for an amazing script. Though it would be nice to have this integrated with RPH so it could be loaded as a plugin instead of a script for diagnostic and crash report reasons, nonetheless it's got great potential and can't wait to see where it ends up.

    Coming from an EMT its a great mod, there is work that still needs to be done like specifics of what treatments or interventions would be done. Some of the vital signs contradict what you find in your assessment such as getting sent out for fever and vomiting and in your assessment it says they have a fever, nausea and chills(I can't remember exactly what it said) but in your vital signs it says 36.6 which is 97.8. The partner freezes a lot too but I don't use them anyway. All of this stuff will come in due time, overall it's a great mod. Anyone having trouble getting the mod to work, make sure your NativeUI file is in your scripts folder with the ems mod files.

    I am sure that I would be able to give this a 5 star review but there is a problem it was installed like it was supposed to be installed and it  doesn't work. I did have the simple trainer but its out now and the updated native trainer is install and still nothing. Is there something I am missing to make it work? I go to the hospital and press F11 and nothing. I would like to try it out and see how it is. I see a lot of people are able to get it to work I cant. Not sure if it needs to be ran with ragehook like LSPDFR does or just through the normal GTA5.  Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance.

    In my opinion, this is the best paramedic mod available.  I love that we can drive them back to the hospital as opposed to just driving on scene, treating them, and it's done.  My only "issues" have been that thus far, every callout has been a bit far away (to be realistic, some callouts should be close.  Maybe I just got unlucky?).  The other issue, which may be known about, is that the AI patient sometimes glitches and they are standing in the very back of the rig, and cause major damage.

     

    Again, those aren't really issues/huge problems.  This is an amazing mod, and I'll definitely be using it a lot.

    Seems like a cool mod but it doesn't work for me. I have it installed correctly and all the requirements are met. The firefighter mod works perfectly for me though and they are kind of the same thing so I don't see why this mod won't work.

    I really do like this mod. Even though there are bugs in it I still give you 5 stars because it is a well based mod. This is better than Rescue V

    Love it! It is really amazing. But it can crash sometimes (could be just me) but so far really good job can't wait for more!!

     

    Maybe a idea but if you want to make some fire department!

    Hey bud amazing work on this especially for it being your first script! Only things I could find with it that I didn't like is that it forces your character model everytime you generate a callout and the fact that the callouts need to be triggered manually. Aside from those two nitpicks great job!

    I'm giving it 5 stars because I couldn't find anything I didn't like about it while playing it for about an hour. It is very easy and simple. This is an amazing start to a fantastic idea and for being your first script, it is very well done, but with every mod, there some are bugs. I'll place those in the comments :)

     

    Great job and I'm excited to see what more you can do with this!
