About This File

Info:

Here's a bit of a change up from my normal work. This is something I had for personal use. I always found the tree cover, especially in Paleto Forest, quite minimal, so this adds over 5000+ trees to the map.

There are also some other props used on top of that, including some fun Easter eggs.  Paleto Bay has been mildly redone too, adding additional signs, trees and traffic lights that Rockstar missed out on.

Here's the list of all the areas that have been redone:

  • Paleto Forest
  • Chiliad State Wilderness
  • Raton Canyon
  • Cassidy Creek
  • The GOH north of Hookies,
  • Paleto Bay
  • West Grapeseed
  • Braddock Pass
  • Cape Catfish
  • Grapeseed Farms
  • Grapeseed Town

There's quite a few Easter eggs in total, I bet you can't find them all 😉

Don't worry, I'll be returning to vehicles soon. This was just because a lot of people on Discord asked about it, and this is easier to share it than clogging up my MediaFire which is for *cough* very important projects.

As far as I'm aware, this doesn't cause massive texture loss or FPS loss on my PC, which is is Mid-Range. If you're having issues with this mod, then it's not up to me to fix it. I'd suggest searching other, better optimised forest mods.

ALSO, as far as I'm aware, there are no issues with scenario paths, such as planes (like the crop duster in Grapeseed) or any of the story missions.

For Autumn (Fall for you yanks) Trees, you'll need this mod:

I provide how to install for NVR and an oak tree texture fix in my Readme with this file.

I went in game testing a couple of cars and this mod, set the time to night, and I cannot tell you the jump I got when I went towards Grapeseed. Seeing all of those trees. Of course I crashed at the Paleto Bay Tunnel, but hey, I have a lot of modifications and cars. Phenomenal as always.

Ive never used map mods before mainly because of dreading the install or trying to figure out the install but with this it is so simple and easy that I even figured it out, and it adds so much its like having a whole new area to patrol in. Thanks for the time and the great work on this I hope to see more of the map added in the future.

Just perfect! Even better than Forests of San Andreas in my opinion as these smaller trees just seem to blend more seamlessly into the lore environment. When playing with this it’s hard to believe the game existed any other way.

I thought your vehicle packs were perfect, but wow... Your maps are just as top notch. Thank you for this!

Damn dude, this is amazing. I really liked the idea of the Forest of SA mod, but it was too overwhelming and boring. THIS on the other hand, especially with the autumn tree's, is simply awesome.

You are breathtaking sir.

So pretty and only has a few frame drops so far. Which are ofc when looking at the sawmill area from a helicopter off the coast, so its to be expected.
