Modding DLC Pack V allows for a simplified installation process of peds, weapons, vehicles and meta file entries - both for addons and replacements.

 

After installing the Modding DLC Pack V OIV file, you can do the following, all from one central folder:

  • Install unlimited addon/replacement peds and addon peds.meta entries;
  • Install replacement weapons;
  • Install unlimited addon/replacement vehicles including support for vehicles.meta, carvariations.meta and handling.meta;
  • Add custom names to your (addon) vehicles;
  • Easily restore all of the above after a GTA 5 update.

 

Please ensure to carefully read the supplied README.pdf file for tutorials and guides on how to do all of the above. I have also done a video tutorial series (see above) showing how to perform all of the above properly.

1.2 - (Fixed corrupted OIV file). Gameconfig: GTA5 1.0.1290.1.

No changes in the DLC pack itself. If you already have this installed, you do not need to update.

    I got it working! Thanks for the kick in the rear. My problem was that I had edited another veehicles.meta (before this using mod)

    \mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\levels\gta5\vehicles.meta

    There I and added FBI3 and some

    other cars. 
    And that didnt work at all, but after I removed my fbi3 in that file I could spawn it by typing fbi3. Thanks for the help! Now I can really enjoy this mod :)

    Sorry about the mix up, i tried to edit my post but im not sure why it quoted to someone else. then double quoted again. Anyway, Just look over your meta, everything has to be exact or it will mess up. And this modd is very useful for making addon vehicles or replacement.  I like it bc you can simply make any vehicle a addon. After you do a few, it will get really easy.

     

    Also, when you find the problem please report back, it may help someone else in the future

    Yes, I'm typing spawn fbi3. I must have made a typo in my add-on vehicles.meta. 

    It's so much easier just to replace cars. But I really find this mod useful for all the extra cars one can add.

    I have tried to follow the instructions as precisely as possible, but still cant spawn my new fbi3 or towtruck2 cars. 

    (I get my new towtruck2 when I order it through the radio though)
    Are there any well known rookie-mistakes? ;) I'm obviously not doing it right.  I appreciate all the help I can get.

    @Albo1125 thank you for the mod! Works like a charm! The only issue I'm having is trying to figure out how to bring in custom siren settings in a carcols file. Any suggestions? I placed a carcols file with the new siren settings in the correct directory relative to the other dlc packs, but no luck in-game. Siren sounds, but the lights don't work as they should.

    Please carefully follow the included documentation section on how you should update your modding dlc pack if you update your gta.

Now, whenever I try to spawn any of my add-on vehicles, I get an error message on the RPH command stating: "Invalid call to console command "Spawn": Cannot load invalid model with hash *whatever the pertaining hash to the vehicle*"

     

    Is there anything that may  be caused by any of the new updates?

    @HerrSkorpion As far as I know, it doesn't need to be updated for 1103. I've installed cars using it, and I haven't witnessed any obvious issues as of yet.

     

    Hey there, all. I was just wondering if this mod also covers the installation of the upgrade files (such as the upgrades you can get from Los Santos Customs), or if one still needs to follow the original method for the installation of these files. Great mod, Albo!

    Just left a review for this, Albo you need to check your PMs. I sent two in the past regarding a donation before i tried this mod.  I should have tried this one first, but knowing the standard way is probably a good thing.

    GREAT MOD. Not working with RDE though. Is this a bug or just the way it is? The game will not load modded weapons while RDE is running. The default vanilla ones show up.

     

    DISREGARD, ISSUE RESOLVED, WAS MY OWN ERROR, PHENOMENAL WORK ALBO

    Hey @albo1125 love this mod its so Useful, however, one quoestion, does this support the use or carcol.ymt files? as im trying to add some in game and not sure they are working.

    Thank you for all your hard work and your mods/tutorials.  If it were not for your detailed tutorials, I would not be able to mod at all.

     

    When you have time, is it possible for a tutorial on how to add skins/textures using your modding "your" way methods?

    Did you edit any meta files at all? If so post screenshots of what meta files you edited so someone can look at them and perhaps figure out the issue..
