LSPD-focused 'CustomQuestions' and 'TrafficStopQuestions' XMLs— informed by real world neighbourhood/problem-orientated policing knowledge and experience.

Enjoy.

Please note that certain responses are meta given limitation, and interchangeable (i.e. '*___ language*')-- should circumstance dictate.

CONTENT WARNING: Some users may find certain dialogue options/responses upsetting and/or distasteful as this XML aims for realism, and explores sensitive topics.

BONUS

Personal Vanilla-Cop Spawning Configs (LSPDFR&UB), both Mixed & Male Only with randomized props/patches/hair

Also includes:

Revised 's_m_y_cop_01' (vanilla toolbelt w/nightstick, colourized badge and no hat)

Revised 'Beta Cop' by Yard1 (vanilla toolbelt w/nightstick, colourized badge and no hat)

Revised 'Improved Female LSPD' by Olanov (with male animationset *enter vehicles faster like male peds, but please note—peds will have male pain/exertion vocalisations* and no hat)

CopHolster Supported

And Alternate Walkstyle

'Ambient Vanilla Chatter

A personal collection of police scanner audio files (including Story Mode sequences) captured in-game for any playback script/plugin or third-party app.

Recommend creating a ‘Groove Music/Windows Media Player’ shuffled-playlist (setting volume to 13) and disabling emergency vehicle scanner game-script, for best experience.

Sourced from Nooby Chris' series of YouTube videos   *Ripped sound files have been broken up and randomized in sequencing by myself*

'Agitation Fix' for LSPDFR

Personally curated meta enabling NPC agitation triggers for Player beyond Story Characters *values have been altered for a more realistic experience--- only gang members will be aggroed by Player's proximity when stationary*

Great for emergent gameplay/interactions when out on patrol.

I love it, the effort put into this really shows. I'm a person who always gets annoyed with inconsistent grammar, not only is this consistent with grammar, but it has a wide variety of questions and responses that make your LSPDFR experience feel realistic, sometimes I use this instead of the callout or whatever plugin wants me to do. Bonus points on the menu being clean and organized.

A must have for immersion !!!

    · For old version : General Update 4

The questions from Serious are still great and fully present in their original glory however, the additions just add so much complication, make investigations so much harder to do with inconsistency between Stop The Ped and the observations seen in the questioning (like observing someone dropping a bag of heroin. We cant really rely on a question for that? Theres no way to secure the evidence, test, and if you search them there could be massive inconsistencies.)

I worked Corrections for 2 years and still find the interaction system super confusing. Its not very user friendly, and nothing is explained such as the demeanor modifiers which in my honest opinion feels like overcomplication, demeanor can be judged based on responses, and with varying responses from question to question, an overall demeanor is pointless. Thats just a STP questioning issue, but it shouldnt be made so obvious by the inclusion of a specific system that 100% points it out.

Just hate to do it to someone who worked so hard but, the reality is the game feels almost unplayable using these questions. The complication and confusion, inconsistency, and the insane level of things being non verbal but rather just *obscene language* makes it hard to immerse myself.

    Response from the author:

Appreciate your sincerity. I imagine others may share your views.

Perhaps my pinned comment might clear things up a bit for you if you haven’t seen it already. Demeanour system as you bring up, is a fallback designed to address/lend ambiguity/tone (or create layered characterisation) and facilitate a spectrum of emotion that is responsive to Player input which can be tracked— it’s gamified/proof of concept and is not intended to be gospel as indicated. In my experience, people don’t necessarily mean what they say or reflect/speak to how they truly feel.

Such details in ‘Subject State’ as a whole work to enrich the experience by adding depth/complexity to every person with unique character profiles requiring different approaches from the Player and a constant need to adapt— linking in with dialogue options — in a bid to workaround STP limitations. Introduces a certain ‘fuzziness’ to interactions that keeps the Player questioning themselves.

Watch Dogs was very much a source of inspiration for me.

Forgive me, but I’m intentionally vague for purposes of Player discovery/experimentation. I understand this might cause frustration and confusion. This a passion project of mine and can be overwhelming for many.

The descriptors are more or less a conscious effort subscribing to a style/design philosophy born out of operating within time constraints that I just sort of stuck with. I’d argue this approach offers greater versatility and replay-ability in the long run. Regardless, I intend to continue expanding response pools as I go in future updates, should I find the time.

As for the observation you mentioned, that was a ‘curveball scenario’ of some rarity— granted, conflict of presentation might arise by their inclusion (hence rarity and necessity to be taken at face value). I ultimately decided to go ahead with the idea at the time. I stand by this decision.

Thank you for your interest and review.

Hopefully you’ll consider giving it more of  your time at some point and see if you can get the hang of things.

I’m just out doing my own thing and wish to stay true to my vision. I’m very proud of my work and wish to elevate the experience for others.

    All the best.
